Chapter 671: 671 A Chess Piece of Brother Three Gu (3) _1

Upon leaving the police station and seeing the still bright sky, An Hao felt as if she had spent an entire century inside.

Breathing in the fresh air again felt wonderful.

Today’s events were enough to prove that power is important everywhere.

With Brother Three Gu’s influence, she was exonerated.

She had no idea what had happened in the process. But one thing was true: before the fire started at ho, she indeed had been with Brother Three Gu. She was sitting in his car, and he was driving her ho.

Gu Tianyu got into the car, and after hesitating for a mont, An Hao also got in. She looked back at the police station sign, thinking to herself that she never wanted to go back to such a place again.

"If... I really did start that fire, could you rescue

then?"

"What do you think?"

An Hao didn’t know.

Perhaps, she thought.

He always had a way to rescue her.

The contents of her bag were all intact. She took out her phone, intending to send a ssage to Jia Qi to let her know she was safe.

"Turn it off." A deep voice sounded in the car.

As she looked over at him, he repeated, "Turn off your phone."

An Hao was startled for a mont and then turned off her phone again, putting it back into her bag without saying a word.

The car was...

So stifling.

Despite the air conditioning running, it was still suffocating.

She had no idea where Gu Tianyu was taking her. The car just kept driving outward; it was around four o’clock in the afternoon now.

When they exited the underground parking garage, An Hao still didn’t know where they were.

The driver, per Gu Tianyu’s instructions, took off first. An Hao trailed behind Gu Tianyu into an elevator. From the icon in the elevator, she saw they had co to a stop on the top floor, the 35th floor.

All the way up, she felt like a deer was ramming against her heart, and she vaguely felt a stir of unease.

Even the corridor leading to the elevator was lavishly decorated. Just as An Hao was taking in her surroundings, the door in front of Gu Tianyu opened. Standing outside, she could see how luxuriously the apartnt was furnished, a standalone luxury apartnt.

She involuntarily swallowed a lump in her throat. Gu Tianyu had already walked in and looked back at her, "Not coming in?"

An Hao obediently followed him in, took in everything around her, and the all-encompassing fear slowly crept over her. She had a vague idea of what she was about to face.

She should’ve known, Gu Tianyu rescuing her was not without ulterior motives.

"Go take a bath and wash off your bad luck," he commanded.

If An Hao had entered the bathroom to shower, still holding on to the simple thought that he only wanted her to wash off the bad luck, then her heart dropped when she ca out to find Gu Tianyu standing right at the bathroom door.

With bare feet and wrapped in a towel, upon seeing him, she instinctively took a step back into the bathroom.

Glancing back, he smirked, pulled her out of the bathroom, and drew her closer to him. His heated breath, hotter than her freshly bathed body. He leaned over, whispering closely, "You need to prove to

that saving you was worth it."

An Hao was beautiful, and fresh out of the bath, she held a seductive allure beyond her years. She was only three years older than Gu Xi, yet no matter how one looked at it, she seed much more mature, both physically and ntally.

She ducked to avoid him, unaccustod to the close proximity between a man and a woman, "Third Young Master... I... I will prove my worth, but can it not be..."

"I can save you, but I can also send you back."

Gu Tianyu’s devilish voice echoed threateningly in her ears.

No! She didn’t want that!

She didn’t want to go back to that place, spending every night in terror...
