Chapter 587: 587 Dare to betray , steal a man? (2)_1

They hadn’t gone ho in days; the refrigerator was empty. Jiujiu, Eleven, and Ye Fei, together, decided to take a trip to the supermarket.

Ye Fei never looked at prices while shopping. If she saw sothing she wanted, or even just sothing that caught her eye, she wouldn’t hesitate to throw it in the cart.

This had been her lifestyle all along, and Eleven never criticized her for it.

If a rich lady wants to be capricious, let her be!

Jiujiu pushed his mini shopping cart, buying what he needed, while Eleven and Ye Fei wandered around the food section.

"You told

you stayed together for days, he even got injured for you, and you both participated in the kindergarten parents’ day. Relationships should be on the rise. So why are you fighting again?"

"We didn’t fight."

"Oh, really? You’re going to lie to ?"

"Seriously, we didn’t. I discovered a hidden room in his house and saw sothing I shouldn’t have. I was wrong, and he had every right to be angry. I didn’t bla him for yelling at , just thought maybe it is ti for

to go ho. It’s not like we can keep living together this way, right? It’s both deceptive and inappropriate."

"A hidden room? Sothing you shouldn’t have seen?" Ye Fei’s curiosity was piqued. "What did you see?"

Fei’er was her best friend. She didn’t consider hiding anything from her. Looking around, she leaned in and whispered into her ear.

"What?" Ye Fei was shocked. "So you’re saying... "

"Shush."

"Who would’ve thought... no wonder he was furious... he didn’t want anyone to discover his past like that, and that’s why he kept it hidden in that room."

However, they still didn’t understand the reason.

Suddenly, Eleven tapped Ye Fei and pointed in a certain direction.

Ye Fei looked where she was pointing and understood.

There was Bai Xiaoxiao in the supermarket’s uniform, rearranging shelves.

She could tell what Eleven was wondering, and told her: "Looks like you didn’t know. The Bai Family has gone bankrupt."

"Bankrupt?" Eleven was slightly taken aback.

She genuinely had no idea.

"I think she was telling you the truth so ti back. They really needed the money. After her connection with the old boss was exposed, West Shadow couldn’t tolerate her anymore, and the comrcial fell through too. She was a newcor anyway, and now her reputation was tarnished; there were no companies willing to work with her. Losing the child ant the old boss lost interest in her. She couldn’t raise enough money to bail them out, so the Bai Family fell into a crisis. After the bankruptcy, her father committed suicide, the stepmother ran off with another man. Now she is by herself, serves her right I guess." Ye Fei sighed.

It could be seen as karma, I suppose, having done so many wrong things, she was finally reaping the results of her actions.

Eleven stood there, watching Bai Xiaoxiao struggling to move those heavy goods.

The Bai Family might have been a small company, nowhere near the four biggest families, but she had not suffered much since childhood, let alone doing such physical labor.

Listening to Fei’er’s account, Eleven didn’t feel great inside.

At first, she was furious with Bai Xiaoxiao, so angry she felt like she wouldn’t shed a tear even if Bai died, their friendship ended just like that.

But now, she finally tasted the bitter fruits of her own actions, Eleven didn’t feel elated. She was sad, yet she didn’t understand why.

Ye Fei noticed the state of her mind, patted her, and comforted her saying: "Don’t bla yourself for her conditions. It’s not your fault, she brought it all on herself! If she hadn’t done anything to betray and hurt you, even considering your friendship, I would’ve surely helped the Bai Family in this crisis!"
