It hurt imnsely, severely.

Indeed, even after all these years, his heart still beat for her, ached at the sight of her tears.

This instant, he was panic-stricken, not knowing what to do. He yearned to reach out, cradle her face in his palms, and gently wipe away her tears.

They stood side by side now, their expressions clearly discernable.

"I may not like Fang Eleven, but her teardrops are so affecting, it hurts my heart. She’s such a great actress!"

"I know, right? It’s even more intense than before. Those tears...always on the verge of falling. It makes

feel so uncomfortable."

"Tsk, it’s because of n like you, who can’t control themselves, that there are such successful won out there!" The girls retorted, indignant.

"Huh?" The girl held in Jin Xiangbei’s arms beca confused all of a sudden.

Because she was nestled in his arms, she could feel...

his heartbeat seed to be accelerating. But before she could study further, Jin Xiangbei abruptly let go of her. He grabbed Eleven, who was trying to escape, "Eleven! Even if you sentence

to death, hear

out first!"

His voice was urgent and desperate.

Everyone was taken aback, had Jin Xiangbei studied drama too?

Jin Xiangbei held Eleven’s body straight, eting her profound gaze.

"Don’t cry..." Finally, his hand touched her face, gently wiping away the tears at the corner of her eyes, "You know all too well, I stand defenceless before your tears. Please, don’t cry...I’d rather you hit , than watch you cry."

It hurt him too!

This instant, holding her familiar face close, every heartbeat brought him a devastating sensation of pain.

What startled everybody was how Jin Xiangbei slightly tilted her face and leaned down, kissing away the tears on her face.

The room filled with gasps of astonishnt.

Fang Eleven had been kissed by Jin Xiangbei!

The instructor watched, captivated by the scene. He signalled everyone to be quiet. The pair acted exceptionally well. It did not seem like an act, but a genuine outpouring of emotions.

Jin Xiangbei was gentle, as if holding a priceless gem close to him, his voice tender, "I’m sorry...Eleven, I’m sorry...I promised to protect you, but I’m the one who’s hurt you the most..."

Eleven lifted her head, looking at him through blurred tear-filled vision, the world appearing hazy to her.

All the while, she stared at him, weeping endlessly, unable to suppress her tears.

Gradually, a whimper turned into a sob, and Eleven was crying like a child, wailing and shouting, her tears gushing like a flood.

Even Jin Xiangbei could not be sure if she was acting, or if these were her true emotions.

"Why...why!" Eleven shouted at him in frustration, "I told you that no matter how much you hurt , I can always persuade myself to forgive you! Except for betrayal! Jin Xiangbei, you were the one who pushed

away, don’t bla

for not looking back!"

The male students below had their hearts in their mouths, wishing they could imdiately rush down and thoroughly rough up the bastard who hurt Fang Eleven.

A girl is to be protected, not hurt, you should never be the reason for her tears!

As they watched, it felt as though they were watching an exceptionally engaging movie.
