Chapter 219: Chapter 219: Five Years Ago, It Was Indeed Him_1

It’s awful! The last thing we need is another life on our hands!

What if there’s one more in my belly? How am I supposed to raise it?

Having a baby is easy, raising one is tough!

It was just a spontaneous decision to have Jiujiu, there’s no way I’m having a second one.

Eleven chewed on her chopsticks as she agonized over the idea, Gu Liancheng however, had a relaxed look on his face. After realizing what she was worried about, he casually said, "First, the chance of conception is not one hundred percent; second, if conceived, I will raise the child. We’ve been a family for four years now, it wouldn’t hurt having one more life in it."

Eleven didn’t respond.

She is not having another one!

If she did, maternal instincts would take over her and she’d definitely not be able to let Gu Liancheng take care of it.

So, it’d be best not to get pregnant again!

"Were you very upset yesterday?"

Eleven paused in the middle of her al and silently nodded.

"The last ti I saw you cry so hard was five years ago," he said, tonelessly.

Eleven rembered. It was an encounter in the countryside -

Ah no, it probably wasn’t a chance encounter. How would he appear there, out of nowhere?

"I... I cried a lot last night?" Eleven asked.

She had a faint notion of it, but wasn’t entirely certain.

All she rembered was, after coming out of the bar, she sat curled up on the ground crying for a while. She was heartbroken then.

"I knew you’d be upset when you learnt about Bai Xiaoxiao’s actions, I didn’t think you’d be this upset."

"So... You knew about her deeds from the beginning?"

"What else did you think was the reason for

keeping you away from her? Rember five years back? You ended up in my bed, thanks to her."

This was the first ti they had openly discussed that night from five years ago.

Though she was 99% sure, she still harbored a 1% of doubt that it might have been soone else.

Now, his confession had confird it was indeed him, five years ago...

And at the sa ti, it reaffird Jiujiu’s blood relation with him, without any doubt.

"It’s okay," Eleven said, lowering her head, pretending to be unconcerned, "I’ve done with all the crying last night. She and I won’t be friends anymore. She can’t harm

any further."

"You should be thankful that the interdiary made the mistake. Otherwise, you’d have wound up in bed with the fat and ugly man next door."

"Wow," Eleven burst out laughing, "What luck! My first ti was with my handso, well-built, filthy rich husband. I pity the other girl."

Seeing her laugh again, Gu Liancheng felt satisfied. He had a faint smile on his lips as he resud his al.

Everything’s okay.

Eleven shared the previous night’s incident involving Bai Xiaoxiao with him because she needed soone to vent her feelings to. Gu Liancheng had been quite patient today, not interrupting her even once, so she poured out all her thoughts to him.

"Good, living with

has finally raised your intelligence. Co here, I have a reward for you."

Being with Bai Xiaoxiao hadn’t been a total loss. If she had continued to trust her like before, she might’ve ended up in another ss.

Eleven moved from across the table to stand in front of him. He pulled her close by the waist, bent down to catch her lips in a gentle, intoxicating kiss, leaving her weak in the knees.

Eleven managed to escape his kiss, smoothed her lips and shook her head, "Not so early in the... I’m so tired."

"Hmm, I’ll let you off." Considering her state the previous night, he had just intended to steal a quick kiss, not anything more.

Since she was pleading so, he wouldn’t push her further.

"What is this..." He suddenly slipped sothing onto her finger.

On closer inspection, it was a shiny diamond ring.

"It’s so beautiful!"

"Do you like it?"
