Chapter 212: Chapter 212: It’s Good to et You_1

"Sir, I’m sorry for dirtying your car. Please drop

off here, I can make my way ho."

"Don’t worry, my shoes are dirty too."

Gu Liancheng glanced at her from the corner of his eye. She was hiding her face in her knees, not wanting to be seen.

Faintly, he could still see the traces he had left on her bare neck.

As if trying to hide those traces, she deliberately turned up her collar despite the weather. It was not for appearances.

June in Xicheng wasn’t especially hot. A rainstorm had even brought down the temperature. They were in a suburban area where the streets were lined with flowering plants and trees.

She had been caught in the rain for quite so ti and was now soaking wet, her clothes sticking to her body.

Underneath her white blouse, her undeveloped body discreetly revealed itself.

"Yes, it’s fine, Student Fang. We can just wash the blanket later." Su Qing said.

Suddenly, Eleven raised her head: "Do you know ?"

Perplexity filled her eyes. Gu Liancheng could tell she was not pretending. She genuinely didn’t know him.

"Oh, your na is in the book," Su Qing glanced at the bag on the front passenger seat with books sticking out, unable to see any nas, casually fibbed, "Fang Eleven, quite a unique na."

"Oh..." Eleven didn’t doubt her.

Suddenly, she felt a weight on her and a shadow covering her.

Turning her head, she saw Gu Liancheng close to her. He had taken off his coat and was draping it over her.

"No need—"

"Wear it. Be careful not to catch a cold."

His gentle dominance was hard for Eleven to refuse, and she nodded timidly.

As they entered a dessert shop, she was almost stopped at the door because of her disheveled appearance. Gu Liancheng stepped forward, holding her at the waist, and walked inside.

Eleven was flustered. This was her first close contact with a stranger. Yet, she didn’t know how to push him away.

She knew he wasn’t trying to take advantage of her and trusted her intuition that he wouldn’t.

He ordered her a cup of hot milk tea to warm herself from the cold and they began their first serious conversation.

"Can you tell

how you need help?" Gu Liancheng asked.

Eleven responded with her own question: "Sir, you’re so kind. Do you always help people in need like this?"

Of course not.

He wasn’t a Buddha, he didn’t need to save all sentient beings. Saving the world wasn’t his goal either.

"But I don’t need help. Thanks for your kindness. I’ve just been dumped, I’ll feel better in a while."

At the ti, Gu Liancheng knew about this, but he didn’t know who her boyfriend was, nor did he expect that they would face each other directly five years later.

"You’re still a student." He said.

Eleven didn’t know that he knew about her situation. She didn’t share her hardship but casually comnted, "Yes, I’ve stopped attending school. I’ll find a job to support myself. I can endure hardship and do any work. Sir, you should help children who really have no abilities. The orphans from the welfare ho need love. eting you today has been comforting regardless. Thank you."

"Got it."

After Gu Liancheng left, Eleven received an offer from the owner of the dessert shop to work there.

At that point, she felt it wasn’t a coincidence that he had offered her a job. When she wanted to find him to express her gratitude, she didn’t know how to contact him.

Several days later, she returned to the orphanage and learned that an anonymous gentleman had donated lots of goods. She guessed it must have been him.
