Qu Leqi’s bad temper probably ans anyone other than Nian Shen calling her would get scolded. But Nian Shen didn’t seem inclined to call her either, so best leave it as is.
Anyway, if she’s hungry, she’ll get up to eat by herself. She’s not a three-year-old who needs soone to manage her als.
Heather didn’t think much of it and went to the restaurant with the two of them.
Around this ti, it was about eight in the morning. Although everyone had fun quite late last night, many people were already up early, sitting with tea and chatting before they arrived.
There were a few empty seats, so they chose a table for four and sat down, ordering so dishes.
"Mr. Nian, Miss Hai, I’ll go get so drinks, what would you like?" Yi Yang volunteered.

"No, no!" Yi Yang insisted she sit down, "I have a tray, Miss Hai, please stay seated. It’s not right to have a lady carry the drinks. What’s your drink choice?"
Insisting to go along would seem deliberate on her part too, so she sat down and said: "I’ll have orange juice then. And Mr. Nian?"
To appear casual, she made sure to ask Nian Shen too.
"Plain water."
"Okay! I’ll be right back."
Heather propped her chin with one hand, smiling slightly, thinking it was nonsense.
Yi Yang definitely wouldn’t return quickly.
Yi Yang has been with Nian Shen for many years, how could he not guess what’s on Nian Shen’s mind?
If not, he wouldn’t be a special assistant for so long!

What else could she say?
She thought, this place at Linyang isn’t soplace she can stay any longer.
She did want to leave quickly, but leaving now seems sowhat irresponsible and would put the director in a tough spot.
