Chapter 1134: 1134 Heather of the Other Shore Flower Sea (158)

So alike!

When the dia broke the news, Nian Shen himself was clearly stunned for a mont—probably never anticipating this turn of events.

So Heather guessed that maybe it was Qu Leqi acting on her own initiative...

That idiot courting disaster—what kind of ss did she stir up just to boost her exposure? She actually had the audacity to expose this matter!

If this was sothing Nian Shen didn’t want revealed, she might as well have signed her own death warrant.

Actually, this was sothing Heather had just thought about a few days ago. At first, she found it strange why the dia seed oddly silent, but later she speculated about Nian Shen’s mindset—he likely wasn’t ready to make their relationship public yet.

Perhaps it was because it was still just the beginning, with so many unknowns. Or maybe there were other reasons she wasn’t aware of. But in any case, he clearly didn’t have such intentions yet.

And now Qu Leqi pulls this stunt, directly exposing the whole thing!

Pray for the psychological trauma of Mr. Nian at this mont...

When Yi Yang hurriedly rushed in, the news station was still reporting on Qu Leqi’s incident. Then, out of nowhere, more news surfaced, revealing Nian Shen’s recent hospitalization. When these two facts were tied together, the narrative that Qu Leqi’s secret romantic rendezvous involved Nian Shen practically beca a nailed-down conclusion.

"Uh..." Evidently, the matter Yi Yang had rushed in to discuss was precisely this. But upon seeing the scene play out, it seed there was nothing left for him to add.

He swallowed the report he’d intended to give.

Heather, ever the one to delight in drama, shrugged nonchalantly at Yi Yang and offered a smile.

But Yi Yang couldn’t muster a smile himself. "Mr. Nian... what should we do?"

Nian Shen’s brows furrowed. "The news is already out. What can we do? Kill them all, maybe?"

His flat words carried no detectable emotion.

Anyone listening would think it was just a casual joke.

Heather, seizing the mont, offered so light reassurance: "I think it’s fine, really. I an, it’s just the revelation of a romantic relationship. Think about it—there’s nothing much to fuss about. You’ll just have to get used to the occasional dia attention, like a big-ti celebrity."

Still, a lot of people would inevitably interpret it as deliberate hype.

Qu Leqi, after all, was filming a TV drama right now. For her relationship to suddenly co to light at this particular mont—it’s hard for most people not to assu it’s all for publicity. Why now, of all tis?

Back when Heather herself took on film and TV projects, production companies often suggested such tactics—pairing her with the male lead for so juicy rumors to boost exposure. She refused, but it didn’t matter; rumors would find her regardless. She’d gotten used to it long ago.

"Good or bad—it doesn’t really matter," Nian Shen said coolly. "Either way, it’s bad. But the news is already out."

"That’s true," Heather said, propping her chin up with one hand and flashing a carefree grin. Her smile was dazzling. "They say a drawn arrow must be released—well, now it’s shot, and there’s no taking it back. Since fretting won’t help, let’s just continue eating, shall we?"

"Mm."

The two of them proceeded to treat the news as background noise, calmly continuing to eat their breakfast as if nothing had happened.

Yi Yang stood nearby, wondering—were they really not concerned about this?

Hmm... well, they certainly looked like they weren’t.

But then again, with Miss Hai in attendance?

Imagine if it were Qu Leqi instead.

Yi Yang stayed put, rely standing to the side to see if there was anything else required of him.

Heather considered that his movent might be limited. Anything he needed, she fetched for him imdiately—personally delivering everything directly to his hands, even carrying out so tasks for him herself.
