After finishing his words, the boss’s gaze suddenly fell on Heather behind him. "May I ask sothing rather boldly... is this person a bodyguard? I’ve noticed she’s been accompanying you the entire ti but hasn’t participated in any of our discussions."
The paperwork and questions had all been handled by Yi Yang.
"Yes," replied Nian Shen.
"Truly remarkable—breaking barriers and proving oneself! Mr. Nian certainly has a good eye for people—ensuring safety while enjoying a visual treat. If you know of anyone else suitable, do introduce them to ."
"You flatter ," Heather smiled lightly, "but this one is one of a kind."
"Haha, then Miss, if Mr. Nian doesn’t need you soday, rember to co work for , alright?"
Heather figured the boss’s polite attitude towards her was mostly due to Nian Shen. Under other circumstances, most people wouldn’t even bother to glance her way, never mind say sothing courteous.
Before she could respond, she heard Nian Shen say, "I’m sorry, but there won’t be such an opportunity."
His smiling response made his words co across as a joke to the other party, who didn’t take them seriously and laughed along, letting the matter drop.
What’s spoken casually may still have a deeper aning.
Heather felt that Nian Shen wasn’t joking at all with that statent.
As they stepped out of the company, Nian Shen said to her, "Once the branch is established, are you interested in managing the security team? You’d be in charge—run it however you see fit. Even implent devil training if you’d like."
"....."
No need for that. If she were to train them, the branch would transform into Hell...
"Mr. Nian, Miss Hai, wait here for a mont—I’ll go get the car."
Heather’s expression suddenly shifted. "I suddenly feel a bit of stomach pain... Can I go to the restroom first?"
Nian Shen didn’t doubt her for a second: "Of course, I’ll wait for you in the car."
Heather took a few quick steps back, her gaze locked on a spot in the distance.
