The Grand Duchy of Aragon.

Originally known as the Kingdom of Aragon, like a certain Hispanic Kingdom, it was annexed by the Arswerdia Empire until just about 150 years ago in a peaceful manner, maintaining a great status and political power because the royal family were descendants of nurous Heroes of yesteryear and its kings obtained the title of Grand Dukes in the Empire.

In other words…They were a powerful royalty, with great wealth and history.

The “Great Disgrace” of Aragon, however, was an unfortunate event that affected the stability of this powerful family for a ti.

Well, in the year 294, many of the territories of the Grand Duchy of Aragon were attacked by the heretical armies of a Cult of the Dragon of Calamity, who sought to diminish the strength of the land of heroes who had faced and triumphed against their God, causing nurous damages and even more deaths of innocents.

—The royal castle of Aragon itself being equally attacked with the help of despicable traitors from the Grand Duke's family.

As the Guides (Players) of the Legend of the Sword of Salvation watch the progress of events (if they managed to keep the hero from dying at thousands per hour), they will be able to find more and more stories about what happened in Aragon.

Naturally, they would learn of the tragic disappearance of the grieving Grand Duke's family, who even after the Grand Duchy was stabilized were never found again…alive.

In fact, the Grand Duke himself, a descendant of heroes, precisely in the year 300 in which the ga begins, would discover too late that the wife and daughters he had escaped with the help of trusted subordinates were raped and murdered by bandits who wanted to take revenge on the wise and just Count of Maruen Danuz, massacring entire villages that he protected while taking advantage of the fact that the Count's army was mostly away, defending the Kingdom of Starganus from the invading Demons….

Well, it was hard not to find out about all these things when not only did many characters talk about it from ti to ti, but you even ended up facing the fallen Grand Duke who was corrupted by the Demons, seeking to revive his beloved family at any cost….

In other words…it was a huge fiefdom with a rich history and enormous power that was nevertheless dood to misfortune, thanks to human evil and the cruelty of demons….

And... you're telling ... that I... am the Grand Duke's family, one of his daughters who disappeared along with Lily? That Mama, that beautiful owner of a common inn, was his wife, who had to flee from crazy cultists with her innocent daughters?

That we co from that Chief whose status is still considered that of a King among his population?

And I'm from a noble family of great power where just being a daughter is enough to be called "Princess!?"

What the hell, God Bastard...what have you gotten into, huh!?

What's with this thing about making , soone who's only supposed to act as the hero's childhood friend (Who by the way would be "tragically" forgotten) inhabit the body of the Eldest Princess of a Grand Duchy who's only pretending to be a common villager to protect herself!?

What kind of fantasy romance scenario is that…?! And wow, she wasn't even the protagonist, just a tragically dead extra for the hero's story of overcoming and success!

Letting go of his hands, I looked at Thadeus with what I hope are resentful eyes!

Naturally, he looks at completely bewildered!

“And now what?”

“What heraldry are you talking about?”

"Are you seriously asking ? Is this so kind of test to see if I rember? Co on, who doesn't know about the family heraldry of the King of Heroes, Aragon?"

“…And the spells…how do you know they’re real?”

She gave a slightly exasperated look at my weak persistence, clearly incredulous at my disconcerting behavior. “You’re joking, aren’t you, Maru? Co on, I use magic too. I can tell if sothing’s enchanted or not at a glance.”

Damn…it’s true.

There was a reason why Thadeus was so confident in becoming a Sky Knight… No, rather; there was a reason why Thadeus in the ga might still want to fight the bandits despite being at odds against enemies more nurous and skilled than him.

Spiritual Magic of the Wind.

Before he even awakened the other spirits needed to be a Hero, Thadeus very naturally awakened the Wind Spirit within him, showing the trendous potential he had since his youth.

Because of that, the village even went out of their way to pay for him to study the basics of Magic in the hopes that a talented Mage would be born in their village…That was one of the few things he counted about himself in the ga.

There was also the fact that he could use elental strengthening with fluids, achieving feats physically impossible for a little boy of about 12 years old.

Naturally, he could see whether the enchantnts on an item were real or just con artists' nonsense. Thinking about this, my legs almost shook with a sudden feeling of vertigo.

No, not all is lost…there must be a better explanation for everything; I'm definitely not the damn protagonist of so overused fantasy romance cliché!

I may have enjoyed those kinds of stories in the past (I know, I was a man and liking that was certainly weird, but so what!?) but it doesn't an I wanted to be the protagonist of that kind of drama!

Not as a man... and certainly not as a woman! Reincarnating as an Extra and becoming the protagonist's love interest in an absurd way? As exciting as it was to read that, being the target was a different story!

Although being the daughter of a powerful man would be….No, I won't fall into that trap!

A simple life is the best!

“Maru, I think you’re going crazy,” Thadeus suddenly said to , looking worried.

“Yes, crazy to avoid being part of clichés!”

“Clihe…what?”

The silver-haired boy repeated, unsure.

“It doesn’t matter! By the way… You rember where the shield was, right?”

“…. Sure.” Looking at suspiciously, Thadeus shrugged and walked with complete confidence to a piece of furniture near the shelf where I took the magic book out before, opened the lowest drawer of it, and took out sothing small in his hand.

When he brought it closer to , I saw that it was a gold and silver tal object, with the design of a fierce Black Dragon being impaled on a spear.

And seeing that familiar design with what I assud was the feeling of magic emanating faintly, I could only admit defeat.

It's official.

I'm a damn princess, living incognito among the common people!
