Chapter 32: Chapter 32: Another Little Secret

For Harry, this question was actually easy to answer. Without needing to think long, Harry decided he wanted to tell his wife a little secret rather than end up disappointed, just like Harris.

Rembering Harry’s sarcasm this afternoon, it felt like Harry couldn’t hold back his anger and wanted to explode. The first ti she saw her husband shed tears in front of her, Claudia was shocked and her eyes widened. Even though Harry was known as a man who was strong against anything, how could he cry in such a quiet atmosphere?

Claudia was sure sothing happened to Harry when he visited his family’s residence. However, who managed to make Harry cry? Does his overly strict father make Harry feel pressured?

Claudia’s right thumb slowly rubbed her husband’s slightly wet eyelid. "Why are you crying? Did I say sothing wrong?"

For a mont, Harry pushed his wife’s hand away while wiping his tears using his pajama sleeve. "This is because dust got into my eyes." His eyes narrowed at his wife who looked at him with pity. "Don’t get

wrong, okay? I’m not the whiny type of guy!"

Claudia chuckled while covering half her face with the blanket. "I know, you are a very perfectionist type of man." Seeing that her husband’s expression was still sluggish, Claudia didn’t want the atmosphere before going to bed to be llow. Her right hand spontaneously stroked her husband’s soft cheek. "But crying doesn’t an you’re whiny. If you have a problem that you can’t talk about to anyone, including , you can vent it by crying. "Cry as much as you can until your heart calms down, Harry."

Today, Harry admitted that Claudia managed to lt his heart just because of several wise words spoken throughout the day. Thanks to hearing his wife’s advice, Harry increasingly wanted to get to know his wife better. Does one of them have to spill the beans in order for his wife to trust him completely?

"Claudia, do you want to hear a little secret that even Harris doesn’t know?"

Claudia quickly raised her head in front of her husband, blinking her eyes. "What secret is that?"

"Regarding your question earlier. I behaved differently today than usual, not because I wanted to maintain my dignity. But, I did often go to folk festivals when I was little."

Claudia was a little disappointed to hear a secret that wasn’t that important to her. However, she was very surprised because again she didn’t know this and it was never told in the storyline of the novel written by Linnon. As far as she knew, the Harperwood family was very reluctant to attend folk festivals. So, when Harry was little, did she visit folk festivals alone?

"That’s why I’m not very familiar with folk festival snacks. Moreover, I like buying various cakes or sweet foods."

"No wonder you didn’t think twice and bought a lot of cakes."

"That’s all the secret I’m telling you today." Harry smiled a mischievous smile as he pinched his wife’s nose.

Initially expecting Harry to tell many secrets from her side, Claudia pursed her lips in great disappointnt. The information he obtained was very little and did not support evidence that Harry was the murderer who killed Kael.

However, Claudia still hasn’t given up wanting to get more information from her husband. Not today, maybe tomorrow or so he can ask to tell you more secrets one by one.

To ta Harry’s heart, who was always cruel, Claudia was willing to carry out various physical touches on her husband so that her secret mission would run smoothly. Slowly landed her lips on her husband’s soft cheek for a few seconds.

Harry widened his eyes at the sudden sweet intake as he touched his cheek where he had been kissed.

"Thank you for telling us your little secret," Claudia said quietly.

"By the way, why did you kiss my cheek earlier?"

"In return you have told

the truth. The more honest you are, the more I will reward you. I really like n who are honest and don’t hide anything from ."

Harry turned around to avoid his wife’s gaze. Talking about secrets, he keeps a lot of secrets hidden, such as his childhood life, which traumatizes him to this day. After all, he still keeps many of Harris’ secrets.

The next day...

This ti Harry did not ask his wife out on a date at the hunting ground because his wife was suddenly called back to her residence. Harry also accompanied Claudia to the family eting. Claudia had predicted what would actually happen after getting a short ssage from her father.

"Claudia, actually I want to tell you sothing important."

"What’s that?"

The father looked at his dashing son-in-law. "President Howard wants to et you and your husband. He said he hadn’t seen you for a long ti after traveling abroad for ten years."

For a mont, Claudia stared at her husband’s relaxed face. "Why don’t you comnt? Do you know him?"

"President Howard is one of my father’s business partners, of course I know him very well."

"Does dad really want

to go on a business trip with my husband? But my husband is already busy doing palace duties."

With a confident look, Harry put his arm around Claudia’s shoulders. "Don’t worry, Dad. I will protect Claudia well and make sure she doesn’t get hurt in the slightest."

"Okay, then I’m really counting on you, Harry."

"Can I take Sarah and Thomas?" Claudia winking.

The father burst into laughter while patting the sofa. "Claudia, you’re married now. Why did you invite your assistant and your husband’s assistant? Can’t you live independently? Even though all this ti you two lived alone."

Harry laughed awkwardly as he ruffled his wife’s hair. "Sotis Claudia still acts childish. Even so, she is not troubleso in my eyes."

"Basically, you will only be gone for two days. "But, considering that President Howard’s residence is outside the city, I think I will find the nearest resort for you."

Rembering that President Howard called her suddenly, Claudia had a feeling that sothing bad would happen to the family in the near future.
