Chapter 186: Chapter 186: Claudia’s Wish

Even though her husband gave her a short ssage suddenly after a week of being apart, Claudia had no intention of replying to his ssage. She pretended not to know anything and tried to close her eyes. In her mind, she still had a hard ti imagining Harris’ true personality which turned out to be more than just random trash trapping Victor. Claudia still finds it difficult to understand what really makes Harris a bad person. If she were Harris’ wife now, it could be concluded that she was a criminal too.

The next day, Claudia’s current visit was to visit a church located in the middle of the city. This cathedral church is empty of visitors on weekdays, so she can freely explore the solemn contents of the church. She sat on a bench and took a small piece of paper and a canary pen that she bought yesterday.

When she entered this church, she read a board about the aning of small letters written by the residents of San Marina. She wrote all her wishes so far in this letter while imagining the monts she spent together with her husband during their six months of marriage.

"I don’t want to divorce my husband, Harry Harperwood. I want our love story to have a happy ending. I want my husband to live happily after all these problems are over."

It didn’t take too long for Claudia to stick a small pink note on the wall containing all the wishes of the residents of San Marina. Her curiosity was very high, looking at this board which was almost completely filled. She read one by one the wishes of the residents of San Marina, most of whom actually wanted the EverLasting Love hotel to be built to beautify the view of this small town. However, so of them even condemned the Duchess as being expelled from this kingdom.

Claudia chuckled as she fingered the paper containing the curse for her. "I won’t be angry if you hate . But I will prove that my plan will not make you suffer."

As she was walking out of the church, she accidentally ran into Victor, which made her a little surprised.

"Victor, what are you doing?"

"Sotis I go to church to pray."

Claudia laughed while covering her mouth with her palm. "You wrote down your wish to restore your good na?"

"More or less like that." Victor scratched his head. "By the way, what do you want to do today?"

"As usual I want to go to the library to clear my mind."

"You don’t intend to return to Edenburgh?"

"Even though I’ve been wandering around San Marina for a week, I actually feel comfortable. It’s true what people say, if I live here, my life will feel calm."

"But, will your husband really not look for you?"

"You don’t need to worry. He knows I’m on a business trip."

Actually, behind the bushes, Tyson was monitoring Claudia’s movents. He photographed Claudia’s every movent and then sent the photos to the Duke on his cell phone.

On the other hand, when Harry saw the photos that Tyson had sent, his blood pressure imdiately rose. He hit the table so hard that Thomas’ heart almost fell out while he was putting the docunts on the shelf.

"Oh, you just startled !"

"How did that bastard get to my wife?" said Harry with his hands on his hips.

"Your real father you an?" Thomas asked nervously.

"Do you still rember Victor who was accused of being a fake jewelry broker?"

"Yes, I still rember. So what?"

"He’s with Claudia right now."

"So what?"

Harry rolled his eyes. "You still keep asking even though you already know the answer."

"Wasn’t Victor’s scandal over a long ti ago? He won’t do any more evil deeds."

Hearing that his assistant’s response did not match expectations made Harry groan in annoyance. "Aren’t you afraid my wife will easily trust that bastard?"

Thomas narrowed his eyes and folded his arms. "Aren’t you more likely to be jealous now?"

"What do you an?"

"Even though you insist on divorcing your wife, you still really love her. If you weren’t jealous, it would be impossible for you to still ask Tyson to take your wife ho."

"You really are very impudent, Thomas." Harry rolled up his shirt sleeves. "Do I need to give you more assignnts?"

"No, Harry."

"Anyway, today Tyson has to separate Claudia and Victor and take Claudia ho safely!"

"How do he separate them?"

"Actually, I don’t know what Victor’s relationship with Claudia is because if you look at the photos Tyson sent, Claudia is very comfortable when talking to Victor. Your job now is to find out their relationship."

*****

It doesn’t feel like ti has passed quickly. The sky was showing a full moon, and again Claudia felt her body starting to get tired after walking around with Victor all day. Claudia didn’t expect that the story Victor told about her accusation would make her want to solve Victor’s problem completely. However, on the one hand, considering that the current situation in her relationship with her husband is already broken, can she solve Victor’s problem without Harry’s help?

She was forced to decide to separate from Victor when she arrived at the luxury inn. They stood facing each other as if they felt they would not see each other again tomorrow.

"Thank you for being with

all day, Victor."

"It’s nice to be able to talk to you for a long ti, Claudia. Finally I’m a little relieved because I can tell my problems to soone I trust."

"I won’t let your good na be damaged just because of this strange matter."

Suddenly, Tyson appeared in the middle of a casual conversation between friends, making Claudia’s eyes widen. Moreover, she didn’t expect that Harry would be able to find out where she was now without needing to tell him in detail.

"Tyson, how did you find ?" said Claudia in confusion.

"I know you were staying here because there were several residents who saw you going to this inn during the week. But it was more likely Harry who found you at all costs from the start. My purpose in coming to you now is that I want to take you ho. This is an order from Lord Duke Harry."
