Chapter 167: Chapter 167: Chronology Behind Two Accident
Listening to the chronology of the accident that his biological mother actually experienced, Harry couldn’t stop the tears from flowing down his cheeks. From the start, his suspicions were correct that his mother’s death was not an ordinary accident, but that his father was the cause of his mother’s death. However, what made him even more vulnerable was hearing the reason his father killed his mother suddenly just because of a small matter.
Harry threw his right fist at Rudolf’s face, but his hand was imdiately held tightly. In fact, he felt like his right hand was about to be broken by his own father.
"You insolent child! You’ve always defended your mother over ."
"I will make sure you are given the death penalty by the king! Or if necessary, I will kill you now! Because you killed my most beloved mother."
Rudolf smiled sarcastically as he pushed his son’s body roughly. "You still don’t know anything, my son. Until now you are still immature because your mother taught you wrongly."
"No. My mother is the best person I have t and you are just a bad person who deserves the death penalty!"
"Then, do you have proof that I am the murderer who killed your mother? If you dare to fight
and want to arrest , shouldn’t you have accurate evidence? You are a duke and palace defense minister, you should understand the procedures for arresting a murder suspect, especially since you have attended a military academy."
This is what made Harry feel down again. How stupid he was not to record his conversation with Rudolf while listening to the chronology of his mother’s death. However, if he only relies on voice recordings, he will be considered a violation of the law. Moreover, voice recordings cannot be used as evidence at trial.
On the one hand, he didn’t care about those stupid laws which made it even harder to control his anger. That was why he really hated that the laws of this kingdom were too weak. King Godfrey did not have the power to legislate the death penalty because the councilors largely disapproved of it. Therefore, Harry stepped in to voluntarily punish the criminals in this kingdom.
On the other hand, he still wanted to catch his father at this very second. He was ready to reach into his suit pocket to record his conversation with his biological father.
"Go ahead if you want to record what I said earlier," said Rudolf curtly.
"I will make sure you are punished by being beheaded many tis!"
"You don’t want to let
see my very beautiful daughter-in-law?"
Hearing his wife’s na being dragged into his family’s problems, Harry gasped. Initially his hand wanted to press the record button, but he was forced to give up his intention.
"Don’t ever ntion my wife using your mouth!"
Rudolf put his left hand in his trouser pocket as he walked slowly towards his son. "Actually, all this ti I have been monitoring your wife’s movents secretly. Besides having a beautiful face, she is also smart. But, she used to really hate you. She always keeps an eye on your movents too."
"Shut up! My wife has always loved
sincerely."
"Why do you trust her more than your own father? Even though I warned you not to be completely blinded by her love." Rudolf laughed irritably as he lifted Harry’s chin. "To think that you are so weak and stupid because of just one woman."
Harry imdiately slapped his father’s hand away. "I don’t care how you insult . My wife is just a woman who always defends
and loves
sincerely."
"She has only been using you all this ti, My son! Since you have the title of duke, she imdiately targeted you instead of your half-brother so that she could also get the title of duchess for marrying you."
"No, you’re wrong. My wife is not the type of woman who likes to use people for her own gain. I have known her well since we were teenagers. She has a loving and gentle heart like my mother. Even though I kept being rude to her when we were just engaged, she still smiled in front of
as if she didn’t mind it." Harry exhaled roughly. "Even for the first ti she thought of
as a human, not a monster."
"You are easily seduced by your wife."
"I don’t care about your various threats. Since I’ve managed to find you for so many years, I’ll catch you now." Harry imdiately turned around, walking quickly away from his father.
"You want your wife to have the sa fate as your in-laws?"
Harry’s footsteps stopped again when he heard another threat, especially this ti the threat made him furious because it was confird that the cause of his father-in-law’s death was his own father. He clenched his fists as he turned around, then ran towards his father with a sharp gaze.
"You bastard! I should have killed you from the start! I already thought you were the perpetrator who killed my in-laws and burned down the orphanage!"
"Because your mother had the heart to leave
and chose to have an affair, it’s fitting that you don’t deserve the sa happiness."
"But, my father-in-law–"
"What kind of chronology do you want to hear?"
*****
Two hours before the fatal accident occurred, Yohanes and Natasha were busy discussing with their household assistants about their plans to make dinner for their daughter and son-in-law. However, not long after discussing it, they suddenly received a mysterious ssage. The ssage was sent by Rudolf regarding threats. The content of the ssage was that if Claudia continued to marry Harry, Claudia’s life would end right then and there. If they wanted to hear Harry’s true identity, then they had to et two hours later.
When reading the ssage from husband and wife, Rudolf showed a sly smile while directing a truck driver to a vehicle dump. He gave a small piece of paper with a passcode to open a safe containing a number of gold bars.
Two hours later, a sedan in which Natasha and Yohanes were traveling appeared on a deserted street. When they wanted to drive the car at a red light intersection, suddenly a tanker truck hit the sedan and it rolled over several tis, causing the tanker truck and sedan to explode.
From a distance in a tower, Rudolf watched the accident scene using binoculars.
"This is the result of you making my son’s life happy."
