Chapter 165: Chapter 165: Friend and Husband

Ever since his wife openly praised him, for so reason Harry felt uneasy because he didn’t deserve that nickna. There is still one big secret he is hiding regarding his true identity, naly that he is King Godfrey’s nephew. Or it could be concluded that he was the next successor to the throne because King Godfrey could not appoint Larissa as queen.

On the way back to the hotel, they still exchanged their most beautiful smiles. Harry was relieved to see his wife finally able to smile after pouring out her heart’s content for an hour in the restaurant. Luckily Thomas and Sarah were willing to be their bodyguards even though Thomas and Sarah were not having lunch in the sa room, so they could hold hands freely in the back seat.

"Thanks for being a friend to confide in, Harry."

Harry raised his right eyebrow. "You only think of

as a friend?"

"I consider you my husband." Claudia rolled her eyes. "I didn’t expect you to be so innocent. I an, apart from you being my husband, you are my best friend to confide in. Not all husbands can be friends to confide in."

"Doesn’t everyone marry to accompany their life? Because they are life partners, they should be good listeners."

"Most couples get married by force. Whether they marry only for wealth, in an arranged marriage, or only marry for a specific purpose. But, when it’s one of their turn to be faced with a big problem, they can’t provide a solution."

"I’m not like them. If you really need soone to confide in, you can bother

while I’m working. Moreover, hearing that all the problems you are experiencing today are serious problems. I can’t bear to let you deal with it alone."

Claudia widened her sweet smile even more, leaning her head on her husband’s shoulder. "I’m a little sleepy."

Harry chuckled at his wife’s behavior, which was back to being spoiled as usual. "I’ll wake you up when we get to the hotel." Harry spontaneously raised his right hand to block the sunlight from shining on his wife’s face.

Thomas and Sarah were actually trying to hold back their laughter observing the attitude of a cold duke who beca increasingly sweeter every ti he was with his wife.

"Don’t be so loud, okay? My wife wants to sleep," Harry scolded in a curt tone.

After hearing all the rare pearls of wisdom spoken by her husband, Claudia beca enthusiastic about working at the hotel again. It doesn’t matter if there are investors who protest, now she dares to fight back but not using sarcasm either. She used words of wisdom so that so investors started to side with her again. Especially the investors were afraid of her too because Claudia was a duchess too, not just a businesswoman.

Don’t forget that Claudia also has to attend a eting held by the Scarlet Community. When she entered the group room, she was greeted enthusiastically by all her closest friends, causing her to flinch until her body almost fell. All her friends welcod her as if it was a birthday surprise. Moreover, this room was decorated with pink and blue balloons, making her confused. For what purpose, all the community mbers decorated the room excessively.

"What are you actually doing?"

Clarissa put on a pitiful face as she ran to her best friend. "At first we thought you would leave the community."

Claudia’s eyes widened. "What? Since when do I want to go out?"

Alice frowned. "Haven’t you been having a bad ti lately?"

"I’m facing various disasters, but that doesn’t an I’ve decided to leave you all."

Hearing words beyond expectations, Arabella and Davina imdiately hugged their close friend’s body tightly.

"I’m grateful. I’m worried that you will feel disturbed if you always hang out with us in the midst of your busy life," said Arabella with a relieved smile.

"Moreover, you are still ntally unstable considering the death of your parents," added Davina.

Claudia laughed awkwardly at all her friends. "I’m really fine now. This is all thanks to you and Harry who always support ."

"You are very lucky to have such a good husband, Claudia." Larissa patted her friend’s shoulder. "Maintain your relationship."

"Sure. Because there is nothing missing from Harry in my life."

In fact, Larissa tried to hold back her anxious facial expression because it was difficult for her to imagine Claudia finding out Harry’s true identity one day. She didn’t expect that Harry was still hiding his identity until this mont. It felt like she wanted to move faster than Harry, but on the one hand, she didn’t want to destroy her best friend’s married life.

"I can see for myself that Harry’s character has been very good," added Larissa.

"Don’t say that, Your Highness. Later, soone will be jealous," Clarissa scolded.

"It’s impossible for

to take Harry from Claudia. They are too sweet, their relationship should not be destroyed."

Claudia laughed awkwardly while pinching her best friend’s cheek. "Can you not act presumptuously in front of Larissa? As ti goes on you beco more and more impudent because she is a mber of the community."

"It’s okay, Claudia. I already consider you all as my own family. In fact, I don’t like it when every ti we talk, it seems very stiff."

On the other hand, today Harry couldn’t have dinner with his wife because he had to gather with the ministers for dinner at a restaurant specifically for high-ranking officials. Harry deliberately didn’t invite Thomas because he knew this eting would last a long ti. He even suggested that his wife go to bed earlier.

After hours of attending dinners and etings, he was finally free from the etings that really tornted him. As a result of spending a lot of ti with his wife recently, he now finds it difficult to act firm and cool in front of the palace ministers.

He parked the car quite far from the restaurant, so he had to walk. Even though a replacent driver was provided, he refused. Because as usual he didn’t trust anyone easily, except Thomas.

"It’s been a long ti since we saw each other, My son."
