Upon arrival at their luxurious residence, Harry still acted as if nothing had happened. However, Claudia felt that Larissa had sothing important to say, which took quite a long ti to discuss in the defense minister’s office. Neither Larissa nor Harry told her anything. In fact, this made her even more suspicious that there were other important secrets related to Harry that she still didn’t know about.
"Claudia," Harry called dryly.
"Yes?" said Claudia, a little nervous because her husband suddenly called her.
"You want to hang out with
tomorrow?"
Claudia’s eyes widened when she heard this invitation, it was too sudden for her. "Didn’t we agree we wouldn’t date until all this problem was over?"
"All these problems will not end easily. The orphanage burning incident will be investigated for quite so ti. Then, the accident we experienced so ti ago revealed who the perpetrator was. Lastly, the kidnapper who kidnapped you at that ti is dead."
"So, you will give up catching all the criminals who have been targeting us all this ti?"
"I’m not giving up. But, I’m afraid, Claudia." Harry hugged his wife’s slender body lovingly.
Feeling how stiff her husband’s body was, Claudia spontaneously wrapped her hands around his broad back. Seeing her husband’s strange behavior since the eting at the palace made her even more worried. Was the king actually making things difficult for him now because of several incidents that had disrupted the Godnation kingdom?
"Aren’t you known as a cruel duke? Why are you suddenly afraid of facing criminals?"
"I’m afraid not because I’m dealing with criminals. But, I’m afraid that one day your life will be in danger when I’m not by your side."
"Are you worried that the real villain will suddenly appear?"
Harry nodded weakly.
"Therefore, I want you to teach
how to shoot. I turned down your date tomorrow. I want us to just practice shooting at the shooting training center."
"Are you sure you want to practice shooting?"
"Didn’t you always say you wanted to teach ? Now I want to comply with your wishes."
Harry exhaled weakly. "Okay, tomorrow I will take you there."
drrt...drrt...
Suddenly there was a vibration sound of one of the cellphones placed on the dressing table. Claudia took her cell phone then swipe the screen to answer a phone call from her mother.
"Hi, Mom."
"You naughty girl! Why have you been so difficult to contact lately?!"
Hearing her mother’s shouting, Claudia imdiately took the cell phone away from her ear. "Mom, can you stop screaming when you call? My ears hurt every ti I communicate with you on the phone."
"I want to invite you to dinner at ho tomorrow. Since the music festival until now, you’ve always avoided ."
Claudia patted her forehead. She just rembered that her parents had invited her to dinner together to celebrate his first appearance at a music festival. However, because at that ti she had promised to go on a date with her husband, dinner had to be postponed. Luckily, Claudia postponed dinner with her family at that ti, maybe her parents would faint when they heard that she had been kidnapped and tortured.
"Okay. Harry and I will visit you tomorrow."
"Anyway, you can just go on a date during the day. Actually, I really miss you and your husband."
"You miss my husband?" Claudia’s eyes were fixed on her husband who was unbuttoning his shirt.
"Harry visited us several tis while you were busy preparing for the music festival. He often brings us fruit and vitamins. Anyway, I am very lucky to have a perfect son-in-law like Harry."
Claudia’s cheeks were red as she looked at her husband’s handso face. "I’m sure if Harry heard what mother just said, he would be very embarrassed."
"Turn on loudspeaker mode, Claudia," asked Harry as he walked over to his wife with a happy smile.
"Mom, Harry wants to talk too, is that okay?"
"In fact, I miss hearing your husband’s voice."
Harry practiced his vocals for a mont then brought his lips closer to Claudia’s cell phone speaker. "Mom, did you take all my vitamins?"
"Of course, all the vitamins from you make my body even healthier."
"I took all your vitamins too, Harry." The father’s voice ca on the phone.
"I’m grateful. Actually, I miss you too. I’ll make sure I can visit you tomorrow."
"We will wait for the arrival of you two."
"Don’t forget to get enough rest, Mom."
"You too."
The phone call ended quickly. Claudia put her cell phone back on the table, her gaze sparkling at the expression on her husband’s face which was flushed red from feeling embarrassed.
"Thank you, Harry. I didn’t expect you to take the initiative to visit my family’s house in the midst of your busy life."
"Actually, I wasn’t too busy at that ti. You’re so busy that your eating patterns are irregular."
"At first I thought your relationship with my parents was a little awkward. Rembering the family eting between both parties, my mother still doubts you."
"Even though she doubted , I still fought to win her heart. My way of winning your mother’s heart is with sincerity. Sotis I communicate with her when I have free ti and report what you have been up to."
Claudia folded her arms. "You didn’t report anything strange to my mother, right?"
Harry laughed awkwardly. "Why should I report all your bad things! Do you want
to die at your mother’s hands?"
"You’re a straight-talking type of guy. I’m sure you must have slipped into saying bad things about ."
"I really only say all the good things about you. That’s why your parents miss you now." Harry stroked the back of his wife’s hand. "If you miss your family, I’ll let you see them all day. Not just at night."
Claudia shook her head. "It doesn’t matter. Tomorrow afternoon I will practice shooting with you first. Besides, my parents have other activities from morning to afternoon."
"Actually, tomorrow I would like to invite you to visit the Fantasia Gallery. I want to resolve our problems with Vivian."
"You want to make her confess her cri?"
