Chapter 140: Chapter 140: Spending Night in Hospital

Again, due to a strange incident, Harry and Claudia couldn’t date as much as they wanted. Even though they had planned their date long ago, they were now forced to postpone it. According to Claudia, all problems must be resolved so they can go on as many dates as they like. Every ti they go on a date, sothing strange happens to them. Even the yacht accident incident is still not resolved. Now another new problem arises. Is the perpetrator the sa person?

As usual Harry was not comfortable staying at the hospital even though the executive suite was chosen by Dahlia and Claudia. However, this ti Dahlia forced him to stay overnight for at least three days or more until his wounds recovered. That was the main reason Harry’s expression was gloomy when he looked around the executive suite which felt like a prison to him, even though to ordinary people this room was like heaven.

"It really sucks staying in the hospital like a dying person!" he grumbled, snorting in annoyance.

Claudia pursed her lips and folded her arms. "Why were you complaining so much earlier? How difficult is it to sleep all day in the hospital? Even though you didn’t do anything!"

"But it’s boring staying here. The bed is not soft enough and not big enough! Even though Dahlia said this was an executive suite. Shouldn’t the facilities match the room category?"

"If you babble again, I’ll watch you more closely! You wouldn’t just invite

to stay at a hotel with a bigger and softer bed!"

"Why go all the way to the hotel? I’ve bought a soft and spacious bed so you can sleep soundly." For a mont Harry exhaled weakly. "Actually, I’m not complaining like this because I don’t know how to be grateful."

"Then, because of what?"

"Because... I want to sleep with you." Harry lowered his head while moving the blanket to cover half his face.

Hearing her husband’s unexpected wishes made Claudia laugh out loud while slapping her forehead. She didn’t expect that her husband could still show his sweet side, even though he had just faced a disaster that could endanger his life.

"Why don’t you get straight to the point?"

"You’ll feel cramped if you sleep in the sa bed with ."

"Even though usually you also hug

when I sleep. Big bed but no use." Claudia narrowed her eyes, looking at her sweet husband made her not have the heart to pound any longer. "But, you don’t mind if I sleep with you in the sa bed now?"

Harry nodded.

"I didn’t expect you to be so spoiled when you’re sick."

"Not spoiled, but it’s strange if I sleep alone in bed as if I’m not married."

Claudia lay down slowly on the patient’s bed, which was slightly smaller than the bed in their room. Actually, the bed in the executive suite is one of the largest beds among all hospital beds. However, Harry, who was used to sleeping in a private bed, didn’t know how grateful he was to be able to occupy the executive suite.

"It’s a habit to always be proud in front of ." Claudia covered her body with a blanket.

"I won’t crush you secretly."

"Why can you still think such perverted thoughts at a ti like this?"

"Aren’t you more likely to be a pervert? I an, I’m worried that my back will hit your stomach." Harry pinched the soft cheek in front of him. "You really have grown up now."

"Now I have one request for you."

"What is it?"

"Can you please stop thinking about this case while you are still recovering?"

Harry frowned. "But, as minister and duke, I have to think about this big case."

"Let

and the others take care of it."

"You don’t need to interfere in this matter. Let

take care of it myself."

"Why are you always so stubborn about not wanting

to interfere?"

"Because this problem is not an easy problem for you to solve."

*****

Three days passed quickly, Harry was finally allowed to go ho even though his wounds were still not one hundred percent recovered. Staying in the hospital was like prison for him.

Harry looked happy when he entered his residence, especially looking at the baby bird in the cage, making him really miss it. Waving his right hand while looking at his wife who was laughing.

"You look like you’ve just been released from prison," Claudia quipped.

"Indeed, the hospital was a prison for . "All the doctors there were fussy about telling

to stay quiet, especially Dahlia who was watching

every two hours."

"This is for your good so that you recover quickly. If you have recovered, you can go ho."

Harry laughed happily at the sullen look on his wife’s face. To express his happiness at being able to return ho, he waved his wife’s right hand.

"Actually, today I want to take you on a date."

"But, shouldn’t you go to work today if you’re better?"

Harry stroked his wife’s tiny head. "In accordance with your wishes, I will not think about anything strange during the recovery period. Regarding case investigation, I will ask Kyle and Thomas for help first. Who knows, they might move faster."

*****

On the other hand, Kyle is having a romantic lunch with Clarissa. This is the only couple who can date as much as they want because their family doesn’t have any problems and Clarissa and Kyle’s family relationship is quite close.

Clarissa looked at her boyfriend who was not enjoying his al with a shy smile. "Aren’t you eating?"

Kyle rested his chin on his palm. "Actually, asking you to eat together was just an excuse. I just want to see you at lunch ti, it fills

up."

"Can you not tease ? Then I won’t want to go back to the office."

"If you need help accompanying you to the mining site, just call ."

"You want to be scolded by my father?"

"Isn’t your father the kind of father who is good and accepts

as I am?"

drrt...drrt...

Suddenly a short ssage appeared on Kyle’s cell phone screen from an anonymous person, making Kyle’s forehead furrow.

"I have evidence of the perpetrator who almost killed your friend while boarding a yacht. If you want proof, please contact

again."
