Chapter 135: Chapter 135: Orphanage Big Event

According to the original storyline she had read, the Godnation kingdom was in an uproar because the Only Hope Orphanage caught fire during the orphanage’s birthday party. Until now it has not been shown who the perpetrator was who caused the sudden fire. However, according to Claudia, the perpetrator was an intruder who wanted to destroy the orphanage for a long ti.

Claudia was worried that the incident would really happen today. That’s why it felt like his feet were heavy stepping into the orphanage area. She couldn’t bear to imagine that this orphanage, which created so many beautiful mories, would be destroyed in an instant because of terrorists. Moreover, it was reported that all the orphanage children had died.

For a mont, her eyes looked around the orphanage which was not guarded by soldiers. Under these conditions, Claudia could already guess that terrorists would easily infiltrate. However, is the perpetrator the sa as the perpetrator who kidnapped her before? Even though she had clearly confird that the criminal was dead in her eyes. For so reason, Claudia beca more confused the more she thought about it. Can only pray that the storyline changes.

"Harry, looks like we can’t take it too easy today."

"Why?"

"For so reason, seeing that the orphanage area was not strictly guarded, I was just worried. Usually every ti a big event is held, there are always many palace soldiers guarding it."

"Why do you look as if you know sothing? Sohow I feel like you always know a lot of things that I don’t know. Starting from all the incidents of your close friends that matched your guesses, now you are suddenly anxious even though the event held at the orphanage was not a big event."

"Anyway, you just follow my wishes. At least you call so of your n to guard here. I don’t know why I don’t feel good if the security isn’t strict."

Harry could only exhale in resignation while contacting several of his trusted subordinates on guard at the orphanage. "Okay, so you can enjoy the event in peace. I will call my knight."

"Thank you, Harry."

Finally, Claudia was brave enough to enter the orphanage while holding her husband’s hand. Just hope that this incident doesn’t happen even though Harry has called his knight to guard the orphanage area.

Their arrival was warmly welcod by Fiona. Claudia and Harry bowed their heads respectfully then shook hands with the owner of the orphanage.

"Thank you for taking the ti to co to us."

Claudia smiled warmly as she briefly hugged Fiona. "Thank you also for inviting us. It is an honor to be a guest star at the Only Hope Orphanage anniversary event."

"The children also really miss you all this ti. Even though you t them a week ago, they already miss you."

Harry didn’t focus on his conversation with the owner of the orphanage. As a result of listening to his wife’s words, he beca a little anxious. The atmosphere at the orphanage was quite busy because they were not the only ones invited. Many adults visit the orphanage and greet the children in a friendly manner. In fact, this busy atmosphere scared Harry. Because usually bad people carry out their actions in the middle of a crowd.

"By the way, you invited other noble families? Do they often visit the orphanage?" Harry asked in a firm tone.

"Yes, they also often visit like you to see the children. But, don’t worry, they are all good people. According to your request all this ti, I always select the adults who visit."

"But, are the invited guests going to visit today?"

"Actually, not really. Because today there is also an open house event. So anyone can co to visit."

This is what actually makes Claudia and Harry even more anxious. Is it true that today’s event will run smoothly? Hopefully the people who attend this event are all good people.

Suddenly a little girl ran up to Claudia carrying two cookies. "Auntie, I brought cookies for you."

Claudia and Harry crouched down while taking the chocolate cookies from the little girl’s tiny hands. Claudia bit the chocolate cookie gracefully while squinting. Feeling how sweet these cookies were, like handmade with warmth and sincerity, she felt like she wanted to ask for more.

"Mmm it tastes delicious!" Claudia gave a thumbs up.

"Can I have more?" Harry asked with a mischievous smile.

"Of course you can. "We all made these cookies just for aunts and uncles."

Harry carried the little girl’s body then stroked her tiny cheek. "Can you take my wife and I so we can eat more cookies?"

"Then follow my lead, uncle!"

Claudia laughed happily embracing her husband’s broad back. "It’s a habit that when you eat sweet food you’re definitely greedy."

"Even though you yourself are just as greedy. Even you are greedier than ."

"You still don’t look in the mirror! Who bought cupcakes in large quantities at that ti?"

It was true that at that ti Harry bought a cupcake without thinking twice. His cheeks reddened at the thought of himself being no less greedy than his wife.

"I bought it all."

"Uncle, if you want cupcakes, there are those too. "We’re making strawberry and chocolate flavored cupcakes."

Harry’s eyes imdiately lit up at this little girl. "Really? Did you make it just for ?"

"Because you’ve always loved cupcakes. I’ll help you make strawberry cupcakes. You can try it first."

Harry blinked his right eye briefly at his wife. "It looks like we have to try all the cakes made by the children. They have taken great pains to make it for us."

"But, don’t spend it all at once. They’ll cry if you don’t spare them."

When they wanted to visit the sweet food stall, Harry suddenly felt like soone was watching him from a distance. For a mont, he turned around and looked at the group of people scattered around playing with the orphanage children. He wondered if his premonition just now was like warning him first.
