With an extrely heavy heart, I must announce that How To Be A System (Dummy Proof Edition) will be going on a hiatus.

TL;DR

I am going to enter a hiatus .I’ll give further notice in around a month on whether this story will continue until Alicia’s arc ends or I'll stop here and do a rewrite. No worries, I won't drop this work. I already placed a quarter of my soul on it. There is 10% chance to continue and 90% of rewrite. By the way, If i didn't send out any news, that ans i am busy writing a rewrite version or writing another novel to relax for a bit and forget about sending an announcent.

Full announcent:

I have been burned out since a few months ago. Probably since around chapter 80 or so. I don’t want to churn out any more lifeless chapters just like what I've been doing for the last dozen chapters as I don't want everyone to be disappointed by this novel.

To be honest, I think things have started to take a wrong turn from what I liked since around the ti I introduced Su Ping and the others. At first it’s just a few things. But, after chapter 90 or so, the small things slowly accumulated and I sohow lost my passion.

If a rewrite does happen, I'll definitely nerf system's abilities. Especially [Create], this ability is simply too OP and make things less interesting. It might be entirely removed, got massively nerfed, or require a massive amount of points to unlock. Because of the change in the system's abilities, which is the center of this story, 50% of its content will be new and 50% the sa. So, you guys can reread it!

Luckily, I am only getting a writer's block for this novel and not getting burnt out of writing in general. When I tried to write another novel a few weeks ago, my imagination still flowed like normal.

If you have any suggestion for the rewrite, which is basically almost guaranteed to happen at this point, please comnt. For example, like removing so character, nerfing so skill, or even increasing Ren Qingquan’s intelligence LMAO.

Finally, thank you for reading. We won’t be seeing each other until a month later or even more. You don’t know just how glad I am every ti I see the notification that soone has comnted on my novel or everyti i gain a new reader.
