Jiraiya was being disliked. Although Sasuke tried to help him out, Jiraiya was still disliked.
Thanks to Sasuke and Naruto’s actions earlier, no matter how much Jiraiya tried to explain, Sandayu and the others didn’t believe him. They even gave him a look that seed to say,
"You can’t even control your own disciple."
In the end, Sasuke said that Jiraiya must have been drunk at the ti, which was why Sandayu decided to drop the idea of writing a complaint.
Jiraiya wasn’t stupid. He figured out what happened almost imdiately, before Sandayu even started to criticize him.
No wonder those two little troublemakers suddenly got kind and offered him two horses, telling him to sell them for money. It turned out this was a trap.
Now that Jiraiya understood everything, he frowned. Although he wasn’t afraid of the complaint letter, the current Hokage was Tsunade. If she found out he was tricked by those two kids, he would probably spend the rest of his life hearing her laugh at him.
So Jiraiya chose to take the bla and used this as a way to get Sandayu to forgive him. Not that he expected full forgiveness, but at least he didn’t want the complaint letter to reach Tsunade. If it went to the Daimyo, it didn’t matter—he wasn’t worried about them.
For the sake of Naruto and Sasuke, who were the ones being taught by this old fool, Sandayu eventually decided not to send the complaint letter. Plus, even though Jiraiya wasn’t exactly a saint, his strength was well-known in the ninja world. To protect the princess, Sandayu chose to endure.
And so, the matter was settled.
Well, it should have ended there, until Naruto, carrying the unconscious Fujikaze Yukie, appeared in front of Sandayu.
Because this woman had been causing trouble all along and using every little trick she could against Naruto, he got so frustrated that he knocked her out. When she woke up, it was already the next day at noon, and the ship heading to the Land of Snow had left the harbor hours ago.
She was very sad, but there was nothing she could do. After all, she wasn’t a ninja, and she couldn’t just jump off the ship.
Since there was no way to resist, she decided to make the best of the situation. With the mindset of, "I’m going to die anyway, so I might as well do sothing aningful before I go," she threw herself into the filming of the movie. In just three days, most of the scenes on the ship were already finished.
Her efficiency was exceptional.
On the fourth morning, Naruto and Sasuke sat next to Jiraiya, resting their chins and watching him. "Hey, pervy sage, it’s been three days. Shouldn’t you be calm by now?"
Jiraiya slamd his cup down with a bang and glared at them with a sour expression.
"Calm down? No way! Absolutely not! Unless you go clear things up with that mission client, don’t even think about helping you with training!"
He was furious.
It wasn’t a big deal that Naruto and Sasuke tricked him; he often tricked those two kids himself. But the problem was, they didn’t just trick him—they ruined his reputation. Even worse, the so-called "Konohagakure Duo" had spread across the entire ship, and almost everyone knew about it.
That damn director even made him act out a scene. He thought that mont could serve as the villain’s entrance in the movie.
Jiraiya couldn’t help but wonder, wasn’t that embarrassing?
Honestly, even he felt like dying when he heard that scene. How did Naruto and Sasuke manage to say those lines with a straight face? He thought he was shaless, but even he couldn’t have said those things.
Oh, right. At the ti, Naruto and Sasuke used a transformation jutsu to beco themselves and Kakashi.
Just thinking about it made Jiraiya even angrier, and his face turned completely black.
"Just wait until we get back, and Kakashi will deal with you!"
"Kakashi-sensei won’t punish . My dad is his teacher." Naruto said casually, resting his chin in his hand.
"So, perverted sage, just give it up. I’m not afraid of anyone in Konoha except Granny Tsunade"
After all, other people might only punch him, but Tsunade said she could definitely send him to the hospital.
"Heh." Jiraiya sneered.
"I rember how Fujikaze Yukie took care of you. Your little girlfriend would probably have a funny look on her face if she knew about it."
He was hoping to see panic on Naruto’s face, but there was none.
Naruto scratched his ear and looked completely indifferent.
"So, perverted sage, you’re too green. You don’t really understand Hinata’s personality. Even Sasuke knows that so things can be told, and so don’t need to be. He understands Hinata, and she won’t think anything else about it."
Sasuke nodded from the side. After all, they were classmates and had all graduated as genin together, so even if they hadn’t known each other before, they’d learn about each other later.
Jiraiya had nothing to say. He didn’t understand Hinata at all. In fact, if she hadn’t confessed to Naruto, he wouldn’t even know she existed.
"Dammit!" Jiraiya cursed under his breath, then went back to quietly drinking his Satoshi.
Naruto and Sasuke exchanged a look and sighed at the sa ti.
They had to admit, Jiraiya was really hard to deal with. They didn’t know when this guy would cool down. They hadn’t trained for three days! Sad~
Naruto stepped out onto the deck. Sasuke went to practice treading water in the sea. He had already learned it, so he didn’t need to practice anymore.
On the deck, the film crew was busy with filming, and Fujikaze Yukie was among them. Except for crying scenes, this woman had great acting skills in everything else.
Oh, by the way, ninjas’ acting is generally pretty good too, but for ninjas, their acting is more about ’mimicking’ rather than actual acting.
For example, Naruto can transform into Sasuke, and even if his performance isn’t perfect, he can still look pretty much like Sasuke. Unless there’s a sudden situation or soone who knows Sasuke very well, most people won’t notice Naruto’s acting.
But for actors, their acting is more general. For instance, if you asked Fujikaze Yukie to play Sasuke, she would definitely fail to mimic him well, even if she used transformation. However, if you asked her to play a "cold ninja," she would be much better at pulling it off convincingly.
In contrast, Naruto can impersonate Sasuke, but he couldn’t play a "cold ninja" well. This is the difference between a ninja’s acting and an actor’s acting. Essentially, they perform for different purposes, so there’s no real comparison.
Even now, if you asked Naruto to transform into Fujikaze Yukie, he could do it without anyone noticing for a short ti.
Of course, the reason for ntioning this is that the actor playing the samurai following the princess in the movie got seasick. He was vomiting and having diarrhea, and even after taking dicine, he hadn’t recovered. So they asked Naruto, who had nothing to do, to help.
With the thought of being on TV, Naruto agreed. He didn’t use transformation at first, but Fujikaze Yukie didn’t like him. The director subtly suggested he leave, so Naruto had no choice but to use transformation and try to play the samurai.
And he passed the scene.
Fujikaze Yukie was stunned. She really didn’t expect that one transformation could completely turn soone into a different person. If it weren’t for the fact that the crew had spent a lot of ti with the original actor, they wouldn’t have been able to tell that this person was actually Naruto.
Jiraiya, watching from behind, was also surprised. He hadn’t expected Naruto’s transformation skills to be so good.
No wonder Naruto, who turned into a woman after becoming Miko, impressed even Kurama.
