At night, while resting, Pei Shu’er suddenly heard several unusual noises.

She saw governnt officer Xu Jia walk up and stop beside her.

"Pei Shu’er, co here for a mont."

Pei Shu’er was taken aback, then, with a smile on her face, she walked toward Xu Jia.

Her attitude was very polite: "Lord, what do you need from ?"

Objectively and subjectively, she didn’t want to leave Tang Zan...

Xu Jia said nothing, continuing to walk forward, and as soon as Pei Shu’er left Tang Zan, she felt dizzy. Shaking her head, she followed Xu Jia in a daze.

Anyway, the governnt officers’ attitude toward exiles was like this, she didn’t expect a response.

Following Xu Jia all the way, Pei Shu’er couldn’t think straight with her dizzy head, just chanically followed him.

Only when they reached a corner away from the exiles did Pei Shu’er look up at the officer before her.

She saw the governnt officer silently watching her, Pei Shu’er furrowed her brows, feeling sothing bad was afoot.

The officer’s gleaming eyes fell upon Pei Shu’er’s lovely face, his voice husky.

"Pei Shu’er, if you follow , I can ensure your safe arrival at Gulan Mountain."

As soon as he finished speaking, he reached out to embrace Pei Shu’er, his eyes filled with burning emotion.

Pei Shu’er quickly stepped back, but moving too fast worsened her dizziness, her body weakened and she fell to the ground.

Her knee hit the stones hard, the pain slightly clearing her mind.

She quickly got up to run, reaching into her bosom to grab the Spiritual Spring Water, planning to take a sip.

But before she could get it out, the man behind wrapped his arms around her waist, and with them, seized her hands as well.

Xu Jia’s hands were scorching, making Pei Shu’er sick to her stomach.

But this man was a governnt officer; if she clashed with him, her future would likely be grim.

Moreover, the officers were a solidarity; if she really hard Xu Jia, it would surely implicate others in her household.

So now, she could only resort to wit, making Xu Jia retreat.

She spoke up: "Lord, I am already married to Tang Zan and cannot bear your gracious favor."

As she spoke, Pei Shu’er reached out to unclench Xu Jia’s grip, but he tightened his hold.

His chest pressed against Pei Shu’er’s back, his hot breath fell on her neck, making her nauseous.

She thrust her elbow hard into the officer’s ribs, striking a nerve cluster, causing his chest to go numb, though it excited him further.

"Pei Shu’er, why don’t you just give in to , everyone knows what a ss Tang Zan is!"

Pei Shu’er naced: "Lord, if I inform Lu Jieguan about this, you won’t have a good ti."

Xu Jia still refused to release her, sneering: "Then at that ti, both you and I will be family, and no fair officer can diate dostic disputes."

He continued dragging her behind the large stone.

Pei Shu’er clenched her teeth, realizing Xu Jia was seriously set on making her submit.

Thinking of this, she shifted her gaze, quickly turning her head to look back, shouting with a rescued expression.

"Lu Jieguan, you’re just in ti, please manage your n."

The officer glanced backward, and instinctively loosened his grip.

Pei Shu’er imdiately stepped hard on his foot and ran towards the main group.

She finally managed to take out her water pouch, about to drink when Xu Jia grabbed her again.

"Oh, Pei Shu’er, how dare you trick !"

Pei Shu’er rolled her eyes; he’s about to do that to her, should she not try to find a way out, wouldn’t she be a fool?

Seeing Pei Shu’er silent, Xu Jia spoke sticky sweet.

"Pei Shu’er, I quite like you; give in to , and I will have my colleagues at Gulan Mountain look after you. Then, find a chance to make you a commoner, and then you can be my concubine."

His eyes were full of burning emotion. He genuinely liked Pei Shu’er.

This girl was so captivating he couldn’t help but be moved.

And many among the officers were moved too, but Pei Shu’er was so well-behaved that they couldn’t bear to act.

And he decided to act as Aunt Lin had told him Pei Shu’er was the type who couldn’t withstand loneliness, relying on n for survival.

That’s when he ca up with the idea.

He was used to taking what he wanted, naturally not bothering to cajole.

Once the deed was done, Pei Shu’er couldn’t escape.

Moreover, he was an officer and she was an exile; the disparity in their status was obvious, he didn’t have to act demure.

Even if he gave Pei Shu’er ten tis the courage now, she probably wouldn’t dare to challenge him.

Upon hearing his words, Pei Shu’er felt both disgust and deep hatred.

Previously, she thought of leaving a margin, using wits over force, trying not to offend anyone.

She had lived in peaceful tis for too long, her mindset still hadn’t shifted.

Now, in such challenging conditions, she should be ruthless, subduing this officer.

Once holding his weakness, he wouldn’t dare to act rashly.

Thinking of this, Pei Shu’er smiled slyly, turning to stare at Xu Jia.

"Lord, I’m a bit thirsty, could you allow a sip of water to warm myself?"

Xu Jia was initially stunned, then his eyes sparkled at Pei Shu’er’s sudden change in deanor, thinking she decided to follow him.

Thinking of this, Xu Jia’s smile grew brighter, not minding the wait.

He felt rather pleased, "Sure, you can feed ."

Pei Shu’er’s smile deepened, she indeed took a sip, and Xu Jia thought she was about to feed him, quickly leaning his face forward.

Instead, Pei Shu’er’s eyes darkened, and she slapped Xu Jia hard.

The force and angle were calculated to be painful, causing minor concussion symptoms, but wouldn’t bruise.

Xu Jia was thrown to the ground by Pei Shu’er’s slap, truly dazed, his expression blank.

This persisted until Pei Shu’er slapped him again, and Xu Jia’s unfocused eyes finally gathered, looking at Pei Shu’er up close.

Beautiful, indeed beautiful, deadly indeed deadly.

Pei Shu’er ruthlessly kicked Xu Jia in the abdon, a mocking smile on her face.

"What, still want ?"

It was only then that Xu Jia swallowed so saliva, Pei Shu’er noticed the abnormality in his lower body too, and kicked him at ’that’ spot.

Xu Jia let out a heart-wrenching scream, clutching himself and writhing on the ground, tears streaming down.

"Pei Shu’er, you’re attacking an officer, we could dispose of you anyti!"
