Fortunately, Tang Zan was here, otherwise, we might have already fallen into an ambush.

The ambushers, realizing they had been discovered, decided not to hide anymore and cast several large nets from above.

Shu’er wasn’t polite at all; she took out a chainsaw and went to work on those nets.

Those n had never seen such a thing, but they knew that the Empress is full of odd ideas, so her pulling out sothing strange wasn’t surprising.

Tang Zan smirked, and once he learned how to operate it, he took it from Shu’er.

Then, the sturdy nets were shredded to pieces in Tang Zan’s hands in just a breath’s ti.

The assassins looked at each other; from the start, they had already lost in montum.

But given the current situation, if they didn’t fight, the ambush would be a complete failure.

Moreover, their numbers were similar, so it wasn’t like they hadn’t a chance.

It wasn’t until they reached the ground that they realized they truly were no match.

First, there were the weapons; theirs were simply no match for those of the Heavenly chanism Pavilion.

The weapons of the Heavenly chanism Pavilion were crafted by masters. But when faced against the Pavilion’s weapons, theirs broke instantly into two.

Next was martial power; theirs simply couldn’t compare to the Pavilion’s.

Not to ntion, there was Tang Zan, a major force to be reckoned with.

Shu’er’s martial arts, though slightly weaker, were still formidable enough alongside the Pavilion’s mbers—she was also an expert.

And considering Tang Zan had subdued Yan Jinyi’s people this ti, even if they were weaker, now was the ti for them to prove their worth, so they were exceptionally diligent.

With one encounter, these n were beaten soundly.

Even now, Tang Zan wore a cold expression on his face.

"Knowing you’d die, you still ca here to et your end."

After saying this, Tang Zan sheathed his sword, then grabbed the assassins and went to find others.

This wave of assassins had already stayed in the dense forest for quite a while.

Once these assassins were dealt with, another power fell.

Then Tang Zan even tracked down so ministers plotting in secret.

When they saw Tang Zan, their faces changed imdiately.

They didn’t linger, imdiately spurting off with their horses.

Tang Zan wasn’t willing to let them go, and imdiately chased after them.

He slashed one in no ti.

As for the horse, it beca a roasted al for everyone.

Killing the assassins didn’t matter much, but killing the ministers would eradicate future disasters.

Yan Jinyi twitched his mouth.

"Emperor, if you keep killing like this, the court will be empty."

Tang Zan smiled mischievously. "No problem, the imperial examination is coming soon. There will be plenty of talents then, I’m not in a rush."

Yan Jinyi didn’t know what to say after hearing this.

Listening to Tang Zan’s tone, it seed he wouldn’t be satisfied until the entire court was emptied.

Then he could replace them with obedient people.

Yan Jinyi initially had so plans, but seeing Tang Zan’s ruthlessness, he didn’t dare continue.

As ti went on, there were fewer and fewer people. There were two days left until the end of the hunt.

If they couldn’t kill those people this ti, it would be difficult next ti.

At the very least, Yan Huan Yu couldn’t be left alive.

Before, with the three-way standoff, he had to consider Yan Huan Yu, but now it’s just him and Yan Huan Yu, he had no reason to keep this threat around.

But since entering the dense forest, Yan Huan Yu seed to have vanished.

Tang Zan had never encountered Yan Huan Yu.

Throughout the journey, Shu’er hadn’t spoken.

She noticed that Tang Zan’s luck seed to be worsening.

For example, holes would sotis appear at his feet, nearly causing him to fall several tis.

Or wild beasts would inexplicably attack Tang Zan, which he managed to dodge.

However, she couldn’t find anything on him that might attract beasts.

She didn’t know the reason, and even Tang Zan found it odd.

The two walked for a long ti before finally encountering people again.

This ti, however, arrows originally aid at others deflected to Tang Zan’s direction.

Tang Zan dodged imdiately, while Shu’er suspected that if Tang Zan’s martial arts weren’t so high, he would have been hit long ago.

One arrow even aid straight at Tang Zan’s heart, with danger all around.

But Tang Zan neither dodged nor flinched, giving the impression of an opportunity.

As the arrow reached him, it only lodged into his clothing, not penetrating further.

Shu’er saw the assassins across were dumbfounded. In that mont of their stupor, Tang Zan counterattacked.

They fought while withdrawing, quickly reaching the edge of a cliff.

Yan Jinyi, lurking nearby, trembled with fear.

When Tang Zan stood on the cliff, a fierce light flashed in Yan Jinyi’s eyes, and despite his usually sluggish movents, he leaped like a leopard.

Joy filled his eyes as he approached Tang Zan, but then Tang Zan suddenly turned and punched Yan Jinyi off the cliff.

Shu’er widened her eyes: "With Yan Jinyi gone, what about vindicating your Prince Mansion?"

Tang Zan laughed: "No worries, don’t you make Corpse Gu?"

Shu’er nodded: "True."

She had felt sothing was off earlier; if Yan Jinyi was truly as timid as he appeared, how could he have participated in this hunt?

But his sudden backlash seed rely a signal, as the new recruits, snapping back to reality, began fighting the Heavenly chanism Pavilion.

At this mont, the Pavilion faced imnse pressure.

However, so of the new recruits were completely subdued, leading to a chaotic scene.

It was then that Yan Huan Yu appeared.

He rode a Ferghana Horse, approaching slowly.

Lin Shiyao stood on a tree, looking at the downtrodden Shu’er and Tang Zan.

"It seems you will fall by my hand after all."

Shu’er didn’t want to deal with Lin Shiyao, who seed to think too highly of herself.

"Don’t forget, countless tis, I’ve won whenever I faced you."

Lin Shiyao laughed: "Then look now, do you still have a chance to win?"

After saying this, Lin Shiyao snapped her fingers, and a group of people staggered out from the dense forest.

At that mont, all the assassins seed to gather there.

But so still had breath, while others didn’t.

If it was group combat, one voice would suffice.

The corpses slowly approached Shu’er and Tang Zan.

Yan Huan Yu extended his hand towards Shu’er.

"Sister, co to ."

Shu’er shook her head, looking warmly at Tang Zan.

"I will live and die with Tang Zan."

Pain flashed in Yan Huan Yu’s eyes. He pursed his lips, refusing to lower his extended hand.

"Sister, co over; you’ll die there."
