Pei Shu’er had previously planted so wild vegetables in the space for convenience. Now, they were coming in handy.

As she picked, she took out various types of wild vegetables from the space.

Eventually, the amount of wild vegetables exceeded everyone’s expectations.

Everyone gathered as they walked, even stumbling upon so mushrooms. Knowing this was the last chance to gather mushrooms, they didn’t hesitate and imdiately picked them.

By the ti they headed back, their wheelbarrows were filled with wild vegetables and mushrooms.

There were also so herbs that everyone picked. Pei Shu’er collected samples of each herb to place them into the space later.

Perhaps due to the difference in ti and space, so herbs that were extinct in modern tis were still plentiful here.

Pei Shu’er planned to cultivate these herbs.

While Pei Shu’er led the group in gathering wild fruits and vegetables.

Tang Zan was leading another group on a hunting expedition.

Everyone started from the mountain’s foot, forming a circle that slowly moved toward the summit.

As they ascended higher, the group beca more concentrated.

When they reached midway up, they found the most ga, including so animals frozen stiff and unable to escape.

No one held back, and under Tang Zan’s command, they captured these wild animals.

By the midpoint, even the least skilled among them had two pieces of ga, while the more skilled had plenty.

Tang Zan aid his bow occasionally at large deer, then sent his team to retrieve them. The group from the third house had a fruitful harvest, as did the others.

After a comprehensive search at the summit, they had almost depleted the ga.

By then, it was already late at night, forcing everyone to return ho for dinner and rest.

Tang Zan’s distribution thod differed from the others; he allocated based on whoever caught the ga, which was quite fair.

Pei Shu’er’s thod involved distribution based on gathering and population braving the cold, occasionally bringing out extra portions from the space.

Upon receiving their shares, everyone felt that the wild vegetables were much more than anticipated.

Pei Shu’er said, "Let’s have dinner first. After eating, everyone should rest early. Tomorrow, we’ll go to Lin Mountain to gather wild fruits and vegetables."

The possibility of them being frostbitten by the snow wasn’t sothing Pei Shu’er could consider.

Since the snow had been falling for so long, those wild vegetables and fruits had already frozen. She could only harvest and extract space resources simultaneously.

Moreover, everyone was extrely exhausted now, and without so rest, she feared an accident might occur.

Considering the severe cold, everyone rely put on an extra layer of clothing before heading out.

After returning to the third house, the kitchen had already prepared the al. Once finished, everyone planned to rest.

To them, it already felt incredibly late to sleep, and they were yawning endlessly with fatigue.

As Pei Shu’er was about to leave, Tang Zan suddenly grabbed her hand, prompting her to turn and look at him.

Tang Zan hesitated before finally saying, "Tomorrow, I have to explore the Dazi border. This ti I’ll be infiltrating deep within, which ans I might not return for many days."

Pei Shu’er nodded; even though she still relied on Tang Zan, at least she had the space to serve as a substitute.

If she followed Tang Zan, it might only beco more dangerous for her.

With these thoughts in mind, she nodded and then said, "Co with ."

Tang Zan followed Pei Shu’er into the room where the White Tiger lay atop a bundle. Seeing Pei Shu’er, the White Tiger flicked its tail.

Pei Shu’er picked up the bundle, opened it, revealing a gun and bullets inside.

Tang Zan raised an eyebrow, "Firearm?"

Yet it didn’t quite resemble one.

Pei Shu’er replied, "Yes, it’s the improved version. I’ll teach you how to use it."

Tang Zan was familiar with firearms. His father was rewarded one by the Emperor, and he had played with it, although it was confiscated during a raid.

Pei Shu’er said, "Follow ."

Tang Zan followed Pei Shu’er to an open area in the Deserted Mountain.

Pei Shu’er fired at a spot, and after the silencer gave a hum, the bullet embedded itself into a wooden stake 200 ters away.

Tang Zan was startled and walked over to the wooden stake, seeing it pierced through with the bullet lodged in a stone behind.

He was surprised due to his experience with firearms.

This new firearm was astonishingly powerful, with extended range, accuracy, and formidable strength.

Ordinary firearms could only reach an 80-ter range, and accuracy declined after 50 ters.

She walked toward Tang Zan slowly in a pale blue gown, draped in a white fox fur coat. Each step was exceptionally graceful, leaving Tang Zan stunned.

She handed the gun to Tang Zan.

"This new firearm, which I call a gun, can shoot at extre distances. Tang Zan, practice with it; I have plenty of bullets."

"It can increase your chances of survival."

She knew there was a considerable difference between using firearms and guns, mainly due to their varying range.

Pei Shu’er then stood quietly aside, her eyes reflecting a gentle smile, encouraging Tang Zan.

Tang Zan aid the gun, hitting the bullet hole left by Pei Shu’er in just one shot.

Pei Shu’er was surprised; Tang Zan was even more talented than the main character Yan Huan Yu.

A smile curved at her lips, knowing he was truly the man she had feelings for, always shining brightly.

Tang Zan shot three tis, each hitting the bullet hole accurately.

Pei Shu’er smiled and said, "That’s enough. Let’s go ho."

Tang Zan nodded, playing with the gun—a gift from Pei Shu’er. She gave it away so effortlessly, despite its value.

The barrel was still slightly warm, yet it was vastly superior to firearms.

If a firearm fired three consecutive shots, it often risked a barrel explosion.

Tang Zan stood in front of Pei Shu’er, now only the two of them remained in the surroundings.

Tang Zan looked at Pei Shu’er and said, "I’m heading out, and my fate is uncertain. I might not return."

As he spoke, his eyes quietly observed Pei Shu’er, eager to see her reaction.

Her face maintained a gentle smile; only the slight contraction of her pupils revealed a significant emotional fluctuation.

Yet in the night’s darkness, it was difficult to discern her expression.

Tang Zan felt a bit forlorn as he tried to position the gun in his waistband, but feared it might discharge.

Pei Shu’er handed him a black leather gun holster and so additional bullets, speaking with a heavy tone.

"Stay safe, and I’ll await your return on the Deserted Mountain."
