A week passed in a blur, and life returned to its usual rhythm for Timothy and Hana.

Hana had taken three full days to recover, longer than she wanted to admit, but when she finally returned to work, the energy in her eyes was back. The fever, the hospital, the exhaustion, all of it felt like a distant echo. She was herself again

Now, they stood in the private hangar of Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the morning light glinting off the polished tal of the Gulfstream G700parked ahead.

They weren’t alone this ti.

Timothy’s mother, Evelyn, stood beside him, dignified and gentle as ever, with a soft smile that never seed to fade. Next to her was his younger sister, Angela, scrolling through her phone but occasionally glancing up at the jet with visible excitent.

Timothy had promised them long ago that when the ti ca, he’d take them to Singapore.

Today, he was keeping that promise.

And since they would be flying on his private jet, there was no need to queue through terminals or security lines. Everything was arranged, clearance, customs, and ground coordination. The flight to Singapore would be smooth, direct, and private.

Hana walked beside him, holding her tablet and a small carry-on. She was dressed in a sleek beige suit, her hair tied neatly in a low ponytail, professionalism returned in full. Still, when she caught his glance, she smiled.

"You sure your mother and little sister okay with tagging along on a business trip?" she asked softly as they approached the jet’s stairs.

Timothy smirked slightly. "Of course, while we are at a eting, they can spend their ti at Marina Bay Sands."

He looked at his mother and little sisters who were excited to board a plane.

"Oh...brother Tim...this ours?" Angela asked.

"Of course it’s ours," Timothy said.

"Wow! So cool!" Angela exclaid, her eyes lighting up as she rushed ahead to touch the polished fuselage of the jet.

Angela spun around, her grin wide and unrestrained. "You’re so cool, brother!"

Evelyn laughed gently, shaking her head. "Don’t spoil her, Timothy. She already brags about you enough at school."

Timothy smiled and placed a hand on his mother’s shoulder. "Let her brag all she wants. I like hearing that my little sister’s proud of ."

The pilot, Captain ndez, approached with his usual professionalism, clipboard in hand.

"Good morning, Mr. Guerrero," he said, giving a slight bow. "Flight plan to Singapore confird. Weather looks clear all the way. We’ll be departing as soon as you’re ready."

"Thank you, ndez," Timothy replied. "Let’s start boarding."

Hana stepped aside to let Evelyn and Angela climb the stairs first. The young woman turned back briefly, eyes flicking toward Timothy.

"You’re really good with them," she said quietly, smiling. "I can tell your mom and sister adore you."

"They’re my anchor," he said simply, watching them board. "Everything I’ve built, I built because of them."

For a mont, Hana said nothing, only nodding as she followed him up the stairs.

Inside, the Gulfstream’s cabin glead with understated luxury, soft cream leather seats, walnut-paneled walls, and large oval windows that flooded the space with natural light. The quiet hum of the air-conditioning and the faint scent of polished wood created an atmosphere of calm.

Angela gasped as she stepped inside. "Brother, there’s a TV! And a couch! And... wait, are those beds in the back?"

Timothy chuckled, placing his carry-on in the compartnt. "They’re not beds; they’re convertible seats. But yes, you can take one if you promise not to touch the cockpit door."

She saluted playfully. "Aye aye, captain!"

Hana took a seat near the front, next to the wide window overlooking the runway. Timothy sat opposite her while his mother and sister settled in toward the rear lounge area.

The pilot’s voice ca through the cabin speaker monts later. "Cabin secured. Preparing for takeoff."

The soft whine of the engines grew into a steady roar as the jet began to taxi down the runway. Hana glanced outside, watching the tarmac blur beneath them before the aircraft smoothly lifted into the sky.

As the plane leveled off, Evelyn leaned over to her son with a warm smile. "I’m proud of you, Tim. I didn’t expect you would own a plane."

Timothy simply smiled. "I know...well how was the supermarket business doing in Manila?"

Timothy just bought a 400 square ter lot in Manila and then constructed a supermarket for her. That way, she can be preoccupied with work which she was used to.

Evelyn’s eyes softened as she recalled it. "It’s doing well. Sales had been increasing by the month. Maybe because the owner was popular?"

Timothy nodded with a faint smile. "Could be."

Angela chid in cheerfully. "I want to work with you too soday, Brother! Maybe I can be an employee of your company."

Timothy chuckled. "Maybe soday. But for now, you should focus on finishing school first."

Angela pouted but smiled anyway. "Fine. But you’ll save an office, okay?"

"Okay."

Three hours later.

Outside, the clouds stretched endlessly across the sky, glowing golden under the late morning sun. The Gulfstream cruised smoothly at 41,000 feet, the world below shrinking into a blue and white.

Hana soon returned to her work, scrolling through notes for the Singapore eting. "We’re expected at the Raffles Place office by two," she said, looking up. "After that, the executives will host a small dinner for us at the Fullerton Hotel. Do you want to confirm attendance for your family as well?"

Timothy shook his head. "No, let them rest. I’ll have the company car take them to Marina Bay Sands once we land."

"Understood," she said, typing sothing into her tablet.

An hour later, the captain’s voice ca through the intercom. "Mr. Guerrero, we’re beginning our descent. ETA to Changi Airport is twenty-five minutes. Weather in Singapore is clear, 29 degrees Celsius."

"Copy that, ndez," Timothy replied.

Evelyn looked out the window, her eyes widening as the sprawling cityscape ca into view, sleek skyscrapers rising from a sea of green, the ocean glimring in the distance.

"It’s beautiful," she murmured.

"Wait until you see it up close," Timothy said. "Singapore is one of the cleanest and most efficient cities in the world. You’ll love it here."

Angela pressed her face close to the glass, spotting the Marina Bay Sands towers in the distance. "That’s where we’re staying? The one with the pool on top?"

Timothy smiled. "That’s the one."

The jet banked smoothly to the right, aligning with the runway as Changi’s iconic control tower ca into view. Within minutes, the wheels touched down with a soft thud, the engines reversing power before gradually slowing to a halt.

"Welco to Singapore," ndez announced.
