Chapter 652: Chapter 651
Keira Olsen furrowed her brows upon seeing this post.
The post didn’t reveal her status as the eldest martial sister nor did it explain what the Special Division actually does, as it’s known to the public as just a small company.
The only thing written was that Old Mr. Sims was a spy, and Keira Olsen blatantly protected the spy and helped fund Barry Brandt.
Barry Brandt was once again brought out for a whipping.
But Barry Brandt had already been scolded before, and over the years he had beco accustod to the criticism, while now everyone was focusing their wrath on Keira Olsen and Old Mr. Sims!
There were also conspiracy theorists speculating whether Keira Olsen’s protection of Old Mr. Sims ant she was a spy too!
Keira Olsen’s brows were furrowed as she looked at the post.
She turned to Jas Olsen and asked, “What has Erin South Martin been up to today?”
Jas Olsen replied imdiately, “She’s been at the Olsen ho all day, playing gas with Charles Olsen after he got ho.”
Keira Olsen frowned, “She isn’t behind this trouble?”
Jas Olsen looked surprised, “What trouble would she cause?”
Jas Olsen wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed and quite brawny; regarding the matters of the South Family, Keira Olsen had never told him—even in such pressing tis, he was clueless about the specifics.
So Keira Olsen just blurted out, “Nothing. We’re going ho now.”
Jas Olsen followed her imdiately, then hesitated to speak. Keira Olsen noticed and asked, “What’s wrong?”
Jas Olsen coughed and then said, “Well, elder martial sister, actually there’s sothing I wanted to say, but I’m unsure how to go about it…”
Keira Olsen urged at once, “Just say it.”
“I know you and Holly Sims are good friends, so you’re helping Old Mr. Sims. But the truth, no matter how many good deeds he has done, is that he’s a spy and that can’t be forgiven. Cousin, I know you’re soft-hearted—did they plead with you for help?”
Upon hearing this, Keira Olsen knew that even Jas Olsen didn’t approve of her actions.
If she didn’t know the truth, she probably wouldn’t feel sympathy for Old Mr. Sims.
Being elderly is no excuse for evading punishnt after wrongdoing.
Keira Olsen pursed her lips, “No, it was my own willing decision. I just feel that Holly Sims’ grandfather shouldn’t be treated this way.”
Jas Olsen couldn’t help but sigh, “Little sister, I know you value loyalty, but sotis it’s important to distinguish between good and bad people. Being loyal to good people is righteousness, but being loyal to bad people is abetting evil.”
Keira Olsen instantly inquired, “Have people in the Freeman Sect been saying sothing?”
Jas Olsen coughed, “There are indeed so opinions, but you don’t have to worry—you’re said to be blind and deceived by Old Mr. Sims… They just want to persuade you, to help you regain your clarity.”
After speaking, Jas Olsen quickly added his opinion, “Of course, if you want to clash with Brian Dawson, we have no objections. After all, Brian Dawson is too arrogant; he needs to learn the strength of our Freeman Sect so he won’t oppose us in the future!”
Keira Olsen: “…”
They talked as they arrived at the parking lot.
Eager to return to the Olsen ho, Keira Olsen glanced at Lewis Horton, “I’ll drive.”
Lewis Horton: “Are you sure?”
“Mhm.”
Keira Olsen promptly took the driver’s seat and began fastening her seatbelt.
Lewis Horton naturally took the passenger seat.
Seeing Lewis Horton heading to the passenger seat, Jas Olsen was puzzled, “Mr. Horton, my uncle is urgently calling my little sister ho, why let her drive? With her thirty mile speed, when will we ever get ho? I heard that the Olsen Group’s shareholders have already surrounded the house.”
Lewis Horton, hearing this, glanced at him without a word.
Jas Olsen went straight to the back seat, got into the car, and started rambling, “Little sister, you should let Mr. Horton drive. If we get back late, you’ll surely be criticized. It’s better to arrive earlier to show our sincerity.”
Keira Olsen glanced at him and coughed.
Before Jas Olsen could say more, Keira Olsen started the car, “Are you seated?”
Jas Olsen: “…Seated. Little sister, you’re not really driving, are you? I’ve seen you parking in the parking lot before, driving so slowly…”
Hearing this, Lewis Horton teased him, “Keira says that driving slower is safer, after all, she has anemia!”
Jas Olsen: !
Jas Olsen grew even more anxious, “But Uncle is waiting; having them wait so long isn’t good, right? If you drive thirty miles an hour from here, it’ll probably take two hours to get ho…”
Before he could finish, Keira Olsen spoke up, “Buckle up your seatbelt.”
Jas Olsen: “…But, at your thirty-mile speed, why would I need to buckle up in the back seat?”
Keira Olsen glanced at him through the rearview mirror, and seeing that he hadn’t moved, she curved her lips and imdiately stepped on the accelerator!
