Vera South’s expression froze instantly, then she realized sothing, her face suddenly changed: “You are deceiving !”

The two headed to the Martin family and relayed Vera’s words to old Mr. Martin, who was shocked and imdiately took them to where he stored his dicines.
There, they found a safe.
Old Mr. Martin opened it and saw inside many colorful little dicine bottles.
Old Mr. Martin explained, “These contain Seven Days; to differentiate each type of poison, it is stored in different bottles. Each contains the sa amount of dication, but it’s not mixed evenly, so the amount of poison ingested in one half is uncertain, and you must use the other half to antidote…”
As he spoke, he pulled out a white little bottle, opened it, and discovered, “This bottle has indeed been tampered with!”
He directly opened the white bottle and found it was indeed half empty.
His expression changed instantaneously: “How could this dicine bottle be opened? This… this is impossible!”
Keira Olsen looked towards his safe: “Grandfather, what material is this cabinet made out of?”
“Aluminum alloy, with current technology levels, it is impossible to open without cutting. But I check the safe every day because what it holds inside is too valuable. There has never been any sign of it being forcibly opened.”
Keira Olsen walked around the safe, then looked towards Lewis Horton.
Lewis Horton explained, “This is a chanical combination lock. If it was electronic, even the toughest locks could be hacked, but with a chanical lock you must rember the combination otherwise it requires violent cutting. Hence, anyone tampering with it would only be soone who knew the combination.”
Old Mr. Martin suddenly spoke, “This is impossible… I am the only person who knows the password. Although Vera lives in my house, she has never been allowed near this room… Co to think of it, the only person who could have tampered with the poison seems to be !”
With that, he shivered and looked directly at Keira Olsen: “Thank God you were cautious and noticed sothing was off, otherwise if sothing happened to your father, I really wouldn’t be able to explain myself even with a hundred mouths!”
At such a ti, the Martins and Olsens would have to settle things!

He handed the white dicine bottle to Keira Olsen and then said, “I will investigate who in the family can enter my room at will.”
