The old lady’s eyes were red, and she tightly grasped Kiera’s hand as if afraid she would disappear, “My granddaughter-in-law, it’s truly wonderful to see you again!”
Kiera lowered her eyes too, a smile on her face with emotions welling in her eyes, “Grandma, it’s my fault, I should have co to see you earlier…”

“The South family?” Old Mrs. Horton asked in return.
Kiera imdiately looked at her, “Grandma, do you know the South family?”
Old Mrs. Horton furrowed her brow, “I rember now, your mother is Jodie South… Turns out she is from the South family!”
Kiera suddenly excitedly grasped her hand, “You really know the South family?!”
Old Mrs. Horton nodded, “It’s normal for you not to know about the South family; they are an ancient family. We of the older generation still have so recollection.”
An excited Kiera asked, “Then Grandma, could you tell all that you know?”
“Of course.”
Old Mrs. Horton looked around, “There are too many people and too much gossip here, let’s talk after the banquet is over.”
“Okay.”
Kiera then inquired, “How have you been feeling lately?”
“I’ve rembered many things, your dicine really works, it’s just a pity, I am old, even if my mind is clear now, I won’t live for much longer. In the future, you should keep company with that brat more.”
“Grandma, don’t say that, you will definitely live to a ripe old age, I’m even looking forward to you seeing your great-grandchildren!”
Kiera hastily consoled her but then saw a dispute not far off.
She was slightly stunned, not understanding what had happened, and stood up to say, “Grandma, there seems to be a problem over at the Olsen family side, I’ll go take a look, Fiona, please take good care of Grandma.”
Upon hearing this, Fiona imdiately nodded, “Yes, ma’am, go ahead!”
Fiona’s eyes also reddened.
Kiera then squeezed her hand and walked towards the place where the dispute was occurring.
Halfway there, she was called by Jas Olsen, “Sister Senior, co quick, I want to show you Peter Olsen’s girlfriend!”
Jas and Peter were close in age, and everyone did not call each other brother but directly used their nas.
Kiera then looked in the distance before joining in amongst the Olsen family crowd.
Peter Olsen was introducing his girlfriend to the Olsen family with a beaming smile, seemingly very satisfied.
Jas Olsen curled his lip, “Don’t know where he t this girl, treating her like a treasure and only brought her to et everyone today. Earlier, in the conversation, he kept on saying we should be careful about our image, not to offend the Horton family too severely, as that would not be good for the Olsen family! Hmph, she’s not even married in yet, and she’s already directing things about the household! If she does marry in, she’s definitely going to be a handful!”
Listening to Jas’s complaints, Kiera couldn’t help but smile.
The Olsen brothers were actually not bad people, and although Peter Olsen was a bit rigid and dogmatic, he was quite good to her.
She still rembered at her recognition banquet, Peter Olsen had given her a very expensive jade bracelet.
But he always lectured her, urging her to break up with the gigolo imdiately, lest Lewis Horton be displeased.

Susan Simpson tensed up imdiately and let out an awkward smile, “Miss Olsen must be mistaken.”
“Is that so?”
Peter Olsen then opened his mouth, “It might not be a mistake! Little sis, what was she wearing yesterday?”
Kiera Olsen said with a smile, “She wore a yellow dress, right?”
“Yes, yes, yes!” Peter Olsen’s eyes lit up, “I drove her there, but I was busy with work so left. Where did you see Susan?”
At that, Kiera Olsen laughed, “In the parking lot.”
