She didn’t notice that the door behind her had mysteriously vanished (the maid had closed it).

A clear voice echoed through the room. Ling Ning could barely make out the silhouette of soone completely wrapped in a blanket, facing away from her at a computer desk, thanks to the faint light of the monitor.
"Yes, I’m here to apply for a job."
"Is that so? The ti has indeed co; 'The Land of Eternal Silence' requires new blood." As she spoke, the figure began to sway before getting up from the chair. She turned to look at Ling Ning, but as soon as she stood up, she seed to lose her balance, wobbling a bit before finally succumbing to Newton's law and tumbling to the floor.

Ling Ning stared speechlessly at the wriggling figure on the ground. Finally, she walked over to the door, fumbled around for a mont, and then flipped the light switch. In an instant, the darkness was chased away by the brilliance of the light.

And just like that, Ling Ning walked out of "The Land of Eternal Silence," feeling a bit dazed. The beautiful maid girl was still waiting outside.
