"Although Ye Ye really wants to go eat with you, Sister, Mom said I can't go out to eat alone with Sister ngyao the Lolicon!" Ling Ye blurted out with a serious expression, completely selling out her Mom.
Hearing Ling Ye's words, Chu ngyao's temple throbbed visibly. She couldn't believe Ling Ning had taught her little sister such things. She wanted to walk away right then and there. But after so thought, she held back—she had to. After all, Li Si was soone she'd personally ntored. If this date failed, where would her dignity as the behind-the-scenes "Boss" be?
Forcing a smile, Chu ngyao said cheerfully to Ling Ye, "We won’t be alone together. Aren’t your friends coming too? No matter how much of a lolicon your Sister ngyao is, I wouldn’t make a move on a minor. Trust !"
Even though Chu ngyao tried her best to present herself as normal as possible, her image in Ling Ye's mind had long been set in stone. No matter how much she tried to explain, it couldn’t compare to Ling Ning's one sentence.
In the end, Ling Ye didn’t see Ling Ning but simply walked away. Still, Chu ngyao felt a faint sadness she couldn't explain. She resolved to teach Ling Ning a proper lesson when she got back.
Slandering her reputation in front of such an adorable loli—unforgivable.
Returning to her original corner, Chu ngyao resud eating her fish balls. Watching the two people inside the restaurant feasting, she felt a surge of frustration. She wanted to eat a feast too!
Suddenly, the fish balls, which had tasted decent earlier, felt bland and tasteless.
Inside the restaurant, Ling Ning looked at Li Si with curiosity and asked, "Xiao Si Si, can you tell about the person you like now?"
"Huh?"
"You ntioned it to last ti. How are things between you two now?"
"Her... She already has a girlfriend," Li Si said softly.
Hearing this, Ling Ning’s expression showed sudden realization. She finally understood why Li Si had asked her that question earlier that morning—it was because the person she liked already had a girlfriend.
"Don't worry, as long as they’re not married, there's still hope!"
Li Si chuckled lightly. She realized that what Ling Ning just said was remarkably similar to what Chu ngyao had told her. Co to think of it, their personalities did seem to share similarities in certain aspects.
Ti passed quietly as the two chatted over their al. anwhile, outside, Chu ngyao tightened her coat around herself. Even though she had dressed warmly, the chill still seeped in. She wondered why the two were taking so long to finish their al. She wanted to go back to the café, enjoy the heating, and watch so TV.
Just as she was feeling restless, a familiar figure appeared in her view. This ti, there was no need to worry—it was her younger brother, Chu Feng.
Narrowing her eyes, Chu ngyao watched Chu Feng from a distance. She wondered why her brother was out in such cold weather and, more importantly, why he was dressed in won's clothing.
Chu ngyao couldn't help but envy her brother’s looks and figure sotis—of course, excluding his chest. Though he always claid he wanted to return to being a "normal" boy, his cross-dressing skills were only improving. Even the subtle expressions on his face carried the shyness of a young maiden.
Wait! Shyness of a young maiden? What on earth?
What had happened to her brother? Before, even when cross-dressing, he’d never given off such vibes. Could it be that pretending to be a girl so often had affected him? A serious thought crossed her mind: Could her brother have already turned gay?
Before Chu ngyao could process this idea, a tall, beautiful woman appeared beside Chu Feng. Seeing her, Chu ngyao’s mind filled with doubt. Was this woman her brother’s girlfriend? She looked oddly familiar...
Before she could dwell on it, Zheng Yun suddenly entered her view, heading straight toward the restaurant where Li Si was.
No, no! If Zheng Yun went inside, she would definitely run into Li Si.
Without hesitation, Chu ngyao hurried forward to intercept Zheng Yun and casually greeted her, while also discreetly warning Li Si to leave.
"Hello, Miss."
"And who are you?"
Zheng Yun looked at the person suddenly greeting her with a puzzled expression. The thick layers of clothing looked familiar, and the person’s face seed sowhat recognizable.
"Don’t you rember? I’m the boss of the café—Chu ngyao."
Hearing this, Zheng Yun squinted in thought before her face lit up with realization. No wonder she’d thought the person was familiar—it was Li Si’s boss. In an instant, Zheng Yun’s previously impatient expression transford into that of a docile, well-behaved girl.
"Hello. Is there sothing I can help you with?"
"Oh, nothing much. I was just out running errands and happened to run into you. I was wondering why you haven’t been coming by the café as often lately. Has sothing happened?"
"I’ve just been busy recently. Once things settle down, I’ll definitely visit more often. After all, Li Si works there~"
"I see. That makes sense. Thank you for clarifying~"
As Chu ngyao spoke, she glanced past Zheng Yun and saw that Li Si had already slipped out of the restaurant with Ling Ning. Only then did Chu ngyao silently breathe a sigh of relief. She just needed to stall a little longer.
However, before she could fully relax, Xia You suddenly appeared—and not just Xia You. Ling Ye and her little "girlfriend" were with her. This had to be a joke. Was the universe ssing with her?
"Is sothing wrong?"
Zheng Yun asked, noticing Chu ngyao’s dazed expression.
"Oh, it’s nothing. I just saw soone I know."
Chu ngyao forced a smile and waved at Xia You. Instantly, Xia You and her group turned their attention toward her, drawing Zheng Yun’s gaze as well.
At the sa ti, Chu ngyao sent another ssage to Li Si, urging her to hurry up and leave.
Without any hesitation, Li Si grabbed Ling Ning and walked away quickly in the opposite direction.
Ling Ning, utterly confused, looked at Li Si, clueless about what was happening. But just a mont ago, she thought she’d seen her daughter with Xia You. Maybe it was just her imagination.
