“Sorry to keep you waiting~”
As Su Ya was lost in thought, Ling Ning finally erged after freshening up. She hadn’t changed her clothes and was still wearing her light nightgown, though her hair had been tidied.
“Ah, oh!”
Su Ya was startled by Ling Ning’s voice and looked at her with a mixture of confusion and unease before realizing there was no need to panic—she wasn’t in the middle of “studying.”
“What’s wrong?”
Ling Ning looked at Su Ya curiously. For so reason, she felt that Su Ya seed a bit off today. Had sothing happened?
“N-nothing. I was just thinking about sothing!”
“Is that so?”
Ling Ning casually sat down next to Su Ya and leaned in close to examine her face. Despite the makeup concealing it, Ling Ning could tell that Su Ya looked a little haggard—there were even faint dark circles under her eyes.
Gently stroking Su Ya’s face, Ling Ning said with concern, “Su Ya, have you been staying up late recently? Look at your dark circles. You need to take better care of yourself. Staying up late isn’t good for girls, you know~”
With Ling Ning so close, Su Ya pursed her lips and nodded slightly, feeling a warm sensation in her heart. Being cared for like this was so comforting.
“If you have anything on your mind, feel free to tell . I might not be able to solve it, but I’m a pretty good listener~”
“Mm.”
As Ling Ning leaned closer, Su Ya instinctively closed her eyes, waiting. But after a while, nothing happened. She opened her eyes to find Ling Ning sitting nearby, smiling playfully at her.
“Xiao Ya, what was that just now? Why did you suddenly close your eyes?”
“N-nothing!”
Su Ya stared at Ling Ning with a blank expression, though inwardly, her thoughts had shifted to whether Ling Ning would look better tied up in a tortoiseshell harness or a snug binding for a basent captivity play. It might actually suit her.
For so reason, Ling Ning suddenly felt a chill down her spine and a sense of impending doom.
Seemingly recalling sothing, Su Ya grabbed a small bag from the table and handed it to Ling Ning. “Oh, this is breakfast for you~”
“Huh?”
Looking at the breakfast in her hands, Ling Ning was about to ask if Su Ya had eaten when Su Ya surprised her with a thoughtful gesture.
“I didn’t know what you liked, so I just bought a little of everything. There’s sothing for Ye Ye too.”
“Thank you.”
“No problem. Oh, and I have sothing else for you!” Su Ya reached into her bag and pulled out a small bottle. “This is dicinal wine my mom forced on when I went to school. It’s not for drinking—it’s for applying to injured areas. It really works!”
“Huh? That amazing?”
“You’ll see if you try~”
With a mysterious smile, Su Ya gently grabbed Ling Ning’s injured leg and began massaging it with the dicinal wine.
Ling Ning initially wanted to refuse, but Su Ya’s determined deanor made it clear that refusing was pointless. And she had to admit, Su Ya’s massage was quite comfortable.
But soon, sothing felt off. Why was Su Ya rubbing the soles of her feet? Wait, wait, wait!
“Ha ha ha, Xiao Ya, stop ssing around~”
“I’m not ssing around~”
Seeing Ling Ning’s flustered expression, Su Ya’s lips curled into an amused smile.
After a while, Ling Ning couldn’t take it anymore. She squird to escape Su Ya’s grasp, but her struggles only caused her skirt to ride up, revealing her adorable cat-thed panties.
It wasn’t until Ling Ning was completely exhausted that Su Ya finally let go.
Looking at Ling Ning lying on the sofa like she’d been played with, Su Ya feigned surprise and said, “Huh? Ling Ning, I was just massaging you—how did you end up like this?”
“I…”
Ling Ning wiped the drool from the corner of her mouth and gave Su Ya a long, hard look. Why was this happening? Su Ya was supposed to be a soft, cute girl—how had she suddenly beco so domineering?
As if sensing Ling Ning’s displeasure, Su Ya leaned in and planted a quick, feather-light kiss on her cheek. Before Ling Ning could process it, Su Ya had already pulled away.
But it was enough.
Ling Ning turned her head in shock to look at Su Ya. If she rembered correctly, this was Su Ya’s first ti initiating a kiss. This was a significant breakthrough. At this rate, things would definitely progress smoothly!
After a while, Ling Ning sat up again, while Su Ya hugged a Sprite bottle and smiled at her, acting as if nothing had happened.
Just as Ling Ning was about to say sothing, Ling Ye’s bedroom door suddenly opened. The little girl ran over with a resigned expression and dove straight into her mom’s arms.
She had tried to go back to sleep but found herself unable to. Frustrated, she sought the one place she could sleep peacefully—her mom’s embrace.
“What’s wrong, Ye Ye?”
“Can’t sleep.”
“Then get up. Your Sister Xiao Ya even bought you breakfast~”
“Not hungry.”
“You should still eat a little, Ye Ye. Be good and go wash up before breakfast~”
Hearing her mom’s words, Ling Ye wriggled in her arms for a mont before reluctantly heading off to wash up.
Su Ya watched the mother-daughter interaction with a smile. “Does Ye Ye still sleep with you?”
“Occasionally~”
Ling Ning chuckled softly. Honestly, she wished she could sleep with her daughter every night. A daughter-pillow was so cozy. But she knew she couldn’t always be by her daughter’s side. If Ling Ye grew dependent on her and couldn’t sleep without her, what would happen when they were apart?
Thinking of this, a hint of lancholy flashed in Ling Ning’s eyes.
“If only I could stay with my daughter forever,” she thought to herself.
But she quickly dismissed the idea. Staying together forever wasn’t realistic. Ling Ye would eventually find soone she loved and leave to explore the world on her own.
For so reason, Ling Ning suddenly felt a heaviness in her heart.
