"What?!"
Ling Ning looked at Qin Qing in shock. It was her day off, yet Qin Qing had asked her to co over, bringing Ling Ye along. Ling Ning had assud there was so task that needed doing, but instead, Qin Qing wanted her to take these two little ones to the amusent park.
"No choice~ I had planned to take Sirou to the amusent park today, but sothing urgent ca up. So I have to rely on you now." Qin Qing spread her hands, indicating her helplessness.
Ling Ning's expression grew a bit strange, as if recalling sothing unpleasant.
"But wouldn't Sirou prefer to go with her mom?"
Qin Qing didn't say a word. She rely pointed at Qin Sirou, who was sitting beside Ling Ye, whispering sothing. "It looks like she'd rather go with Ye Ye~"
"But... but..."
"But nothing! The boss has spoken, so why is her subordinate still hesitating? You get paid to accompany them—where else can you find such an easy job? Now, go on. I need to get ready myself. If I don’t leave soon, I'll be late. Any expenses today, just co back to for reimbursent."
"..."
Ling Ning had no retort. In the end, she bowed her head to her boss's authority in defeat.
After taking the two little ones out, she hailed a taxi. Since Qin Qing had ntioned that expenses could be reimbursed, Ling Ning naturally decided to splurge a bit.
Sure enough, taking a taxi was a different experience from squeezing into a crowded bus or subway. Along the way, the two little ones kept chatting excitedly, clearly holding great anticipation for the amusent park trip.
The amusent park was quite far from Qin Qing's house. The taxi ride took more than an hour, and each ticket cost over two hundred yuan. Ling Ning felt her heart ache. Although the kids' tickets were half price, it was still a hefty cost. If not for Qin Qing's assurance about reimbursent, she would be distressed to the point of heartbreak.
Since today wasn't a weekend or a public holiday, the amusent park wasn't too crowded. To be honest, going to an amusent park on holidays was a bad idea—eighty percent of the ti would be spent waiting in line.
Ling Ye curiously eyed the various amusent rides around them. It was her first ti at such a place. Though she had seen it on TV before, experiencing it in person was a completely different feeling.
"Mom, I want to try that one."
Ling Ning looked in the direction Ling Ye was pointing, then turned back to Ling Ye and said quietly, "Ye Ye, don't you think it's a bit too much to start with sothing that extre? Why don't we start with sothing easier, like the bumper cars or the carousel? Just to warm up?"
Ling Ye gave her mother a disdainful look. Being looked down upon by her own daughter was sothing Ling Ning could not tolerate. No, she absolutely could not! In order to maintain her authority as a mother, Ling Ning resolutely took the two little ones to the drop tower.
Watching the machine that could shoot people into the sky in an instant, with screams echoing all around, Ling Ning felt her legs go a bit wobbly.
Thankfully, there weren’t too many people in line, and soon it was their turn. The mont she sat down on the ride, Ling Ning suddenly wondered if perhaps it would be better to just throw away her dignity as a mother after all.
Ling Ning had a fear of heights—sothing she had suffered from even before transmigrating, and it had only gotten worse since.
As the staff completed the safety checks, Ling Ning felt the machine slowly rise, and then...
"AHHHH!!!"
Ling Ning scread, thoroughly losing her composure. For soone with acrophobia, this was simply too much stimulation. anwhile, the two little ones beside her looked excited, chatting away as if it were nothing.
"Wow, you can see really far from up here."
"I've been to that place before."
"Do you think we'd die if we flew out from here~"
"I kind of want to fly out and see~"

"Huff~"
After getting off the drop tower, Ling Ning almost couldn't stand. She felt as though she had been completely drained. After finally catching her breath, she saw that the two little ones had already run off to line up for the next ride.
Children were required to have an adult accompany them on such rides, and so Ling Ning found herself being dragged along for another round of torture. By the third ride, Ling Ning was nearly at her limit.
When the two little ones finally seed to have had enough, Ling Ning let out a sigh of relief. If they kept going, it would truly be dangerous.
"Next, let's go to..." Ling Ye's gaze swept around before pointing to what seed like a roller coaster in the distance. "Let's try that one next."
Ling Ning took a look. It was just a typical roller coaster—sothing she figured she could probably handle... maybe?
But she was wrong. Although it was an ordinary roller coaster, why did it still feel so intense?
While Ling Ning found it terrifying, the two little ones didn't seem to share her opinion. After one ride, they felt it wasn't thrilling enough, and they dragged Ling Ning to a ride called "Snow Eagle."
Watching that roller coaster shoot out like a missile, Ling Ning felt like she was going to die.
"Um, Ye Ye, look at all the people waiting in line. How about we try sothing else first?"
"No way. I want this one—the kind where you might die if you fall! Right, Sirou?" Ling Ye excitedly turned to Qin Sirou.
"Yeah, yeah, the ones that don't kill you aren't exciting at all," Qin Sirou agreed.
As the line shortened, Ling Ning grew increasingly uneasy. She found herself hoping soone would cut in—maybe a few hundred or even a thousand people. Co on, soone, anyone!
But the salted fish didn't get her wish. Before long, it was their turn, and since they were towards the end of the line, the only available seats were at the front.
[TN: "Salted fish" is slang for soone with low motivation or soone who wants to take things easy]
Ling Ning sat in the front seat, her face devoid of hope for life. Why did they have to start with sothing so extre? This had to be so sort of test for her, right?
The car started moving forward slowly, then suddenly—BAM!—it shot forward. Ling Ning felt like she was about to die. That mont of explosive acceleration, the scenery whipping past at high speed, left her unable to even scream.
When the ride finally returned to the station, Ling Ning slumped into the seat, needing quite so ti to recover. The two little ones, on the other hand, were clamoring for another go. Ling Ning quickly found an excuse, saying there were too many people and if they did another round, they wouldn't have ti to try anything else. Another ride, and Ling Ning was sure she wouldn't make it.
To placate the two little ones, Ling Ning bought them each an ice cream cone. But seriously, the prices here were ridiculous. If not for the reimbursent, she wouldn't have bought anything even if her life depended on it.

Author's Note:
I think I'll only have one chapter today. Got to deal with so stuff tomorrow—it's such a bother. And honestly, I've been feeling pretty unmotivated lately~
