How Could I Possibly Have a Daughter After Reincarnating? Chapter 204 : Surprisingly Bold, Aren’t We
"This weather is really nice today! I should’ve washed the blankets and hung them out to dry before heading out," Ling Ning remarked as she looked up at the clear, cloudless sky. Despite saying this, she was already downstairs, and her laziness ant she wasn’t about to go back up to actually do any laundry.
Though Li Qian had told her she didn’t need to arrive early, for so reason, Ling Ning had woken up bright and early today. With nothing better to do, she decided she might as well head to Li Qian’s place earlier than planned—maybe even snag a free breakfast.
However, that hope was quickly dashed.
“Agh, I’m starving. I should grab breakfast before going over,” she sighed, eyeing the various breakfast spots along the street. She didn’t co to this area often, so she wasn’t familiar with the places here, but after a brief scan, she decided on a noodle shop.
Inside, she spotted a familiar figure—it was Li Qian? No, it was her sister, Li ng. Curious, Ling Ning wondered what Li ng was doing here.
As she noticed Ling Ning, Li ng’s face lit up. She waved enthusiastically. “Ling Ning, over here!”
“What a coincidence, Li ng~”
Ling Ning sat across from her, smiling.
“Yeah, what are the odds? But isn’t your place a bit far from here? Why co all this way for breakfast?”
In response, Ling Ning briefly explained that she was headed to Li Qian’s place to help her with so studying.
Li ng nodded. That explained her sister’s strange behavior last night, not to ntion her oddly considerate “Take care on the way” comnt when Li ng left. At the ti, she thought her sister was half-asleep, but it all made sense now—her sister just wanted Ling Ning all to herself.
“What’s up?” Ling Ning asked, noticing Li ng’s silence.
“Oh, nothing! Actually, I’ll treat you to breakfast. The noodle soup here is fantastic.”

"Ugh, why isn’t she here yet?"
Li Qian sat on the couch, half-heartedly watching TV. Earlier, she’d been hoping Ling Ning wouldn’t arrive too early while her sister was still ho. But now that Li ng had left, she was starting to wonder why Ling Ning was taking so long.
After a few more minutes of staring at the TV, she got up to circle the living room again. She’d already tidied up, but it wouldn’t hurt to check once more—she didn’t want to leave any detail unattended.
After another inspection, she sat back down, face buried in her hands.
She couldn’t shake the feeling that she was acting like a girl nervously waiting for her crush to visit.
“Soone… I like?”
Blushing, she hugged a silly-faced pillow, murmuring the words quietly to herself.
“Ding-dong~”
At the sound of the doorbell, Li Qian jumped up, quickly checked her reflection in the mirror, and opened the door with a bright smile.
"Hello, delivery from ‘Anywhere Direct.’ Are you Ms. Li Qian? I have a package for you."
The deliveryman’s eyes lit up at the sight of her but quickly returned to professionalism.
Li Qian stared at him for a mont before rembering she’d ordered a few pairs of panties online a few days ago. So much for her enthusiastic greeting—she felt like she’d just wasted it.
She took the package back to the living room, opened it, and pulled out a pair of black lace panties.
"Aren’t these a bit… bold?" She thought, looking at the lacey, revealing panties in her hand. They’d seed nice online, but now that she had them, they felt a little too daring.
“Ding-dong~”
As she debated returning them, the doorbell rang again.
Distracted, she tossed the black lace panties onto the sofa and went to answer the door.
“Yo~ Xiao Qian Qian!”
Standing outside was Ling Ning, but just as Li Qian’s excitent rose, her least favorite person appeared behind her sister. Of all people, it had to be Li ng, who was supposed to be at school by now.
“Good morning, sis!” Li ng greeted her with a mischievous smile, obviously enjoying her sister’s shocked expression.
“You… weren’t you going back to school?”
“Well, I forgot sothing! And since I ran into Ling Ning at breakfast, I thought I’d co back with her~”
Li Qian gave her sister a look. She wasn’t buying the “forgot sothing” excuse. Most likely, Li ng had run into Ling Ning, heard about the study session, and tagged along out of curiosity.
Sighing in defeat, Li Qian resigned herself to the situation. There was no point in complaining now.
“Co on in. I’ll go make so tea.”
When Li Qian returned with the tea, she noticed Ling Ning holding sothing black in her hand. Realizing what it was, Li Qian quickly put the tea down and snatched the item from her hand as fast as she could.
“My, my, Xiao Qian Qian, aren’t we a little bold?” Ling Ning remarked with a teasing smile. She’d always known Li Qian was confident, but this was unexpected.
Even Li ng looked surprised, not realizing her sister had bought the sa panties she had. She’d received hers the day before and was already wearing them.
“B-b-b-boldness isn’t the issue here! Besides, you’re the one wearing those childish panties with little cartoon characters on them. Even elentary kids are braver than you!”
“ow, ow, ow!?” Ling Ning looked at Li Qian in shock, wondering how on earth she knew about her underwear preferences.
Seeing her surprise, Li Qian explained, “I saw them when we changed clothes at the maid café, so don’t get any strange ideas!”
Of course, there’d been a few tis she’d caught glimpses by accident, but she wasn’t about to admit that.
After hearing Li Qian’s explanation, Ling Ning began to consider if it might be ti to try sothing a bit bolder herself.
