"Ah~ I'm dood! Dood, I tell you!"
Xu Qing was sprawled across the desk, looking utterly defeated.
"What's wrong? You're so listless this early in the morning."
"I had too much fun yesterday and didn't study at all. There's an exam today, and my brain's totally empty. Isn't that tragic or what?"
Hearing Xu Qing's lant, Ling Ning suddenly rembered that they did have an exam today. For her, though, it wasn't that big of a deal. Aside from geography, she could handle most subjects pretty well, and even in geography, she was starting to catch up.
At the very least, she knew where Undead Parish was and the climate characteristics of Old Yharnam.
Looking at Xu Qing, who seed utterly without hope, Ling Ning patted her shoulder. "Hang in there, we only have about twenty days before winter break. With your grades, even without studying, you'll still be one of the top scorers."
"Yeah, but I can't accept that. No way! I need to cram!"
As she said this, Xu Qing glanced at Xia You. The top three spots in class usually rotated among Ling Ning, Xu Qing, and Xia You. Last ti, Xu Qing had taken first place, Xia You was second, and Ling Ning ca in third. Keeping that first place this ti seed like it was going to be tough.
For so reason, Xu Qing instinctively didn't want to lose to Xia You.
As if sensing sothing, Xia You shifted her gaze from Ling Ning to Xu Qing, a gentle smile playing on her lips. She'd never liked this girl who was always around Ling Ning, especially after losing to her in the last exam—it had left a bitter taste.
Lately, Xia You had even given up following Ling Ning around in order to study. She was determined not to lose this ti!
Seeing both of them suddenly fired up, Ling Ning scratched her head, utterly clueless as to what was happening. But since the people around her were hitting the books, she couldn't just sit there doing nothing. She picked up a book at random. After all, last-minute cramming sotis worked wonders.
It wasn't just Ling Ning's group; the rest of the class was doing the sa. Yesterday was a day off with no howork, and everyone had indulged themselves. Now, back in school, everyone was scrambling to cram.
Of course, there were so who had already given up, sitting around chatting without a care in the world. The three-mber "Weasel Squad" was definitely among those carefree souls.
"Hey, I've got sothing to tell you. I recently found a really good novel," said Mo Fashi, grinning as he leaned in between Bai Xuejia and Shen Shi, looking completely at ease and unconcerned about the upcoming exam.
"What book?" Shen Shi casually played with a book in his hands. He wasn't reading it—he had a phone embedded inside. To be fair, the book was mostly hollowed out at this point, so reading wasn't an option anyway.
"It's called 'Daily Life Between and Mommy.' It was just uploaded a while ago by an author nad 'Mommy I Love You.' The writing is a bit raw, and the style is similar to 'Put On Your Daughter's Panties and Beco a Magical Girl,' which I recomnded to you last ti. The style's similar, but it's not as dirty."
"Although 'Daily Life Between and Mommy' doesn't have much of a plot—it's basically a bunch of everyday monts and mother-daughter bonding—sohow, after reading the first chapter, I couldn't stop. I don't even know why!"
After listening to Mo Fashi, Bai Xuejia frowned. "Is it really that good?"
"I'm telling you, even though it's not even a hundred thousand words yet, it's at the top of WuKe's weekly click and collection rankings, and it's still rising."
"And one last thing—daughters are the best!"
Mo Fashi was so excited that his voice carried, and soon the entire class was looking their way, giving the trio scornful looks.
Feeling the eyes of the class, Bai Xuejia smiled and turned to Mo Fashi, saying, "I have sothing to tell you too, and it's not just words—I want to shove them right up your..."
Mo Fashi's seat was diagonally behind Ling Ning, so she heard everything.
"'Mommy I Love You'? What a weird pen na. And the writing style is similar to mine? Interesting. I'll have to find ti to check it out," Ling Ning muttered to herself.

"Ling Ning, Ling Ning, wake up, it's ti to go ho~"
Xia You shook the still-sleeping Ling Ning. The mont class had ended, Xu Qing had rushed off like she had sothing urgent to do, leaving Xia You to naturally take the seat beside Ling Ning.
"Hmm~ Is class over?"
Hearing soone call her, Ling Ning groggily opened her eyes, looking around before realizing that school was over. Since the last two periods were English exams, she'd finished in record ti and promptly fallen asleep on her desk.
Ling Ning sleepily glanced at Xia You and murmured, "Just let ... sleep for ten... ten more years." With that, she went back to sleep on her desk.
Lately, she'd been feeling a bit sleep-deprived. She didn't want to get up after finally getting so proper rest.
Xia You looked at Ling Ning, who had gone right back to sleep, and decided not to wake her again. Instead, she found herself staring at Ling Ning's lips, rembering that night.
"I want to take advantage of Ling Ning, to kiss her while she's asleep, to kiss her until she's breathless. I want to tear off her stockings and caress her smooth, long legs..." Xia You's thoughts grew increasingly wild.
"Just one kiss. It should be fine, right?" Xia You whispered to herself.
Just as Xia You was about to kiss Ling Ning, she saw Ling Ning's long lashes tremble slightly, and Xia You pulled her head back like a startled rabbit.
As soon as she had settled back into her seat, Ling Ning's eyes opened.
"What's wrong?" Ling Ning asked, noticing Xia You's stiff expression.
"N-Nothing. It's getting late. Let's head ho."
"Mmm~" Ling Ning said, stretching with a satisfied yawn.
Watching Ling Ning's graceful figure, Xia You couldn't help swallowing hard.
"I really want to touch them..."
