1377: Chapter 1373: Turn Progress 1377: Chapter 1373: Turn Progress Lu Ping’an slowly opened his eyes, the subtle feeling of being revived from the dead left him both surprised and excited.
“Snap.”
His pale pupils blinked; the results of being “refreshed” made Lu Ping’an feel as though he was a Newborn, in a terrific state of health.
“Replicate.”
His calm words bolstered Lu Ping’an’s will.
Looking into Chris’s eyes, he saw one as the phantom of a past ow, and the other a tired ow filled with cracks.
“Crack.”
The next mont, a brand-new ow was ready.
“Hey, this look is new to .”
Turning around, the Kitten…
no, Big Cat’s Beastification was far more formidable than ow’s.
Unlike the half-cat transformation of ow that sowhat resembled a Catwoman maid COS, Chris’s pupils had turned into Beast Pupils, her body had beco furry, and now she sported a fluffy white tail.
However, the “Kitten” looked rather cute…
No wonder she had adamantly refused to let Lu Ping’an see her.
Now, his desire to pet the cat directly crashed through their soul connection.
“…Is this really the priority right now?”
Chris glared back annoyed, but at the sa ti, having recovered to her peak condition, she effortlessly blocked the Two-headed Wolf.
The age-old cat-and-dog fight resud, but this ti, the cat had an easier ti.
It wasn’t just due to the rise in “proficiency” but also because the “Double Moon System” had successfully activated for the first ti, which ans Chris…
“Red Clouds at Dusk…”
Her eyes flickered with a hint of red light, as her entire body transford into countless Blood-silk lines.
“Aaargh!”
The invincible Two-headed Wolf burst into Blood-silk cracks all over, unable to withstand the rampage of the disaster’s Profound aning.
But when Chris returned to form, she was covered in wounds; it was hard to tell who was more severely injured.
However, within those Cat Claws, she clutched an ever-expanding heart.
“Snap!”
The once again cracked Chris gently crushed it, her golden, slender beast pupils still fixed on her opponent.
“Replicate.”
Lu Ping’an blinked again, and the cracked ow instantly recovered to her entry state.
“Replicate.”
And even though Lu Ping’an was in good shape, Chris directly “replicated” and restored him again.
This was one of the basic limitations of this ability.
Just like looking in a mirror, once A has replicated B, B must also replicate A.
After a round of exchange, the ability can be used again in the next round.
Lu silently retreated, holding another “Replicate” in his hand, ready to save the day if necessary.
And having confird that this trump card could be played, it essentially ant unlocking the ability for Chris to overdrive her body, enabling her to forcefully use many abilities that would damage her flesh.
The top secret of Fighters, she successfully dealt a severe blow to the evil wolf in an instant, even managing to steal its heart on the way.
But everyone knew this was probably just the beginning of the battle.
“…Balance!
If this is your level, then today shall be the day you perish completely,” the grievously injured commoner said, restoring the wolf’s sanity, though the wound on its chest was nearly healed.
“Young man, for justice, to completely eradicate this villain!
You should end yourself!”
The monster A, spewing venomous words, healed at a visibly fast pace and, with an eerie return to sanity, taunted monster B.
High-tier Battle-professionals generally find it quite difficult to die definitively, but the two sides currently engaged in battle, even on the level of “Undying-nature,” are exceptionally abnormal.
The three stood in a line once more, Lu Ping’an and Zhu Dakai at each end, with the Kitten serving as a barrier between them.
Both probably understood that once they possessed this degree of “regeneration ability” and even “Revival Ability,” it was destined to beco one of the standard matches for high-tier professionals fighting to the death, trading exchanges of Life and Power in a war of attrition.
But, the current environnt did not allow for the ti that a war of attrition most required.
“…Here they co again.”
Lu Ping’an furrowed his brow as his eyes captured the approach of various outsiders.
It was evident that the fluctuations from this round of combat had attracted new outsiders, several of whom seed capable of posing a threat to both sides.
“…Let’s leave this battle for later.”
Now, the God’s Relic had yet to appear, and the battlefield had only just begun.
Under the encircling pack of wolves, it would be too foolish to engage in a premature all-out fight.
Lu Ping’an slowly retreated, consequently necessitating that Big Cat, who needed to maintain shooting range, also had to withdraw.
The Two-headed Wolf stared intently at Lu Ping’an.
It wasn’t trying to give up, but considering the current situation, continuing the fight would actually make it impossible to eliminate the opponent.
The few others that arrived seed no weaker than our side, but now that both parties had displayed quite outrageous Undying-nature, really fighting to the death was likely not a matter of a mont or two.
Continuing the fight and becoming prey for others would truly make it impossible to fight to the death.
As Lu Ping’an had said, the “poison circle” hadn’t yet shrunk to the “final circle,” and everyone on the battlefield was in too good a condition—engaging in a fight to the death now would be exceedingly foolish.
“I’ve morized your scent…”
Having identified the target, the vicious wolf did not hesitate to choose to retreat.
But Lu Ping’an could only think of smiling… Do you think you could kill if you gave more ti?
Being unprepared and ambushed by you this ti, and next ti it will be a completely different story when I actively seek you out.
“Lu Ping’an…” Chris’s words ca through clenched teeth, a hush of frustration seeping through.
“Next ti, let’s keep our cards close to the chest.”
Chris fell silent for a mont and then vanished without a trace.
This battle had been particularly frustrating for her.
Her strongest primary profession was Beast Tar, with Healer matching it, and only after those ca Fighter and Black Knight.
However, the premise for all of her strength was her absurdly powerful “body,” the one that could pin down most Quasi-Gods, the Disaster Beast’s form.
Now, the physical strength that Lu Ping’an could provide was but a third of that body, actually less than one percent of her peak condition.
The most troubleso part was that her Career Abilities required ti to prepare, and right now…
Although she had gathered so bottom cards for Beast Taming and Healing, they weren’t worth using in this initial battle.
For Lu Ping’an to advise her to keep her cards was rational, but being threatened by soone far inferior in the current mont was indeed infuriating.
“We’ll et again.”
Just as the enemy said, “I rember you,” Lu Ping’an knew that the Hunters from this Path had tracking abilities to an outrageous level; it seed inevitable they would have to fight to the death.
But just as Big Cat still had at least two cards left to play, and Lu Ping’an himself was not without his own cards…
Truly fighting to the death might take several hours, and the victor would simply beco the prey of other Hunters, which would be too idiotic.
Lu Ping’an hastened his departure, the sense of imminent danger growing ever more substantial behind him.
If he didn’t leave now, he might not be able to at all.
In this battle royale, there were still too many well-conditioned seed players.
Engaging in a fight to the death now didn’t make sense; it was ti to gear up first.
“At least, let make my ‘Reproduction’ ability complete.
Right, right, and prepare a little Gift…”
What Lu Ping’an held in his hand were bits of flesh—leftovers from the battlefield, the heart of the Two-headed Wolf, muscle fragnts, and these had fallen into the hands of a “vicious Life Professional.”
“…Heh, I’m looking forward to eting again already.”
