(Third Person POV)
[Infernis, A Long, Long Ti Ago]
"Hey, prick." Riktor called over as he approached Drakken from behind, "Thanks for just leaving over at Decalogue."
"Fuck off." Drakken said, a serious expression on his face, "I don’t have ti for your shenanigans now."
"Oh, look at this one." Riktor said sarcastically, "Soone really put a scalding iron rod up your ass, didn’t they? For you to be in this foul of a mood."
They had just entered the Manor where they were based at and night had just befallen the land. Drakken had arrived there after dealing with so things as Riktor made a beeline for it. After the fighting in Decalogue and losing the Bloodstone of Vladius, Drakken wanted to let out so steam before reporting to Viktor.
"Yea yea...." Drakken said with a scowl
They approached a large set of double doors and Drakken swiped his hand, opening them with his Telekinesis. They both walked through and entered a massive room with several leather couches organized around. The walls were adorned with massive paintings, and the ceiling had three large chandeliers. The windows were covered by thick curtains and what looked like steel veils that were lifted currently.
On the far end of the room, next to a large fireplace, there was a single chair next to a small table that had a vase with red flowers on it.
Sitting on that chair, a single man had his legs crossed.
The Man seed tall from sitting down, wearing a black suit with shiny leather shoes. His skin seed rather pale, the light of the fire reflecting off it. His jet black hair was combed in a slick back, and a single white streak ran through his hair, right above his left eye.
His two eyes were as dark as charcoal, giving off a cold and terrifying feeling. While his face was clean-shaven, there was a single thin scar that ran down his right cheek, which made his mature-looking face so scary.
This was Viktor, the Vampire brother of Riktor, who is also Drakken’s sworn brother. He would later beco a third of Infernis’s Trinity, acting as the God of Night’s Darkness. Riktor would be the God of Destruction.
Drakken reached him, "Viktor." He said with a serious expression, "Sorry, I failed."
Viktor looked at him, a small teacup in his hand, "Drakken.....Riktor...." He said as he lifted the cup to his mouth, "I heard what happened."
His voice was calm yet cold and commanding. The re sound of it made Drakken a bit nervous, seeing the cold stare of those pitch black eyes also didn’t help at all. Drakken noticed that the liquid in the teacup was a red color and he imdiately recognized its scent; Blood.
"Demons." Drakken said, "They interfered."
"I am aware." Viktor said, "I heard from my sources that Valkren sent his enforcer to retrieve the Bloodstone. Such a sha he beat you to it...."
Drakken clenched his fists, "A disgrace...." He said, "A failure..."
Viktor set the cup down, "Do not concern yourself with such details..." He said, "We could not do much about it if Valkren had involved himself. From what I hear, Tryke has been building up his reputation to be a capable Demon that always completes his missions no matter what.
Drakken scowled, "You know of him?" He asked, "That damned Demon..."
"He gave Drakken a nasty cut~!" Riktor smirked
"Shut the fuck up." Drakken spat
"Asmodeus, Sirenia, Chae-te, and Euryale.....even those who are the Warmonger’s children don’t have the certainty to complete a mission like Tryke does." Viktor said, "He is the Enforcer of the Demon Lord Valkren. He is sure to beco a General at this rate....and when he does beco one, it will be trouble for Infernis...if he can open Helldoors and command Demons and their forces, then I won’t be surprised if War is on the horizon."
Riktor sighed, "What was this Bloodstone anyways?" He said as he walked up to the table and bent over, sniffing the cup of blood, "And why did Valkren want it?"
"I am not sure of the details." Viktor said, "But I know that if Tryke was ordered to retrieve it...it was lost to us from the beginning."
Drakken looked at him, "Tryke ntioned that you want to commune with the Bloodfla, what’s up with that?" He asked, "I didn’t know you are dabbling with the Flas of Chaos....."
"Ho?" Riktor smirked as he reached for the cup, "Seriously, brother? The Bloodfla??"
Viktor smacked his hand, "Don’t touch my drinks, brat." He said before grabbing the cup and standing up, facing the fireplace, "And Drakken....to answer your question....a Bloodstone is a powerful source of power that can be directly linked to Chaos."
Drakken blinked, "What?" He said, "Are you serious? We didn’t feel any source of power."
"That is because the Bloodstone of Vladius was specifically made to be disguised. Vladius, an ancient Vampire Lord, created it." He said as he took a sip of the blood, "He used a ritual, sacrificing the blood of millions of individuals and gathered it into a single point.....mixing the bones and souls of a hundred thousand elves.....and the heart of a Dragon.....the Bloodstone of Vladius was then created...."
"What?" Drakken raised an eyebrow, "Such a massive ritual for that?"
"Well, the Bloodstone has many uses, truthfully....and Vladius built this one and placed seven seals on it." Viktor said, "Upon undoing the Seals, its power is released and one can use it to do anything it was ant to. In my case, I was going to commune with the Bloodfla....and I would try to harness it....."
"Correct if I got my Vampirism History wrong, brother." Riktor sat on the chair, "But wasn’t Vampire kind forsaken by the Bloodfla?"
"Yes." Viktor said as he glanced at him, "But Vampires can commune with it and wield it. And so can anyone else....."
"It’s just dangerous...." Drakken said, "The only ones who are compatible with the Flas of Chaos are the Demons."
"Chaos Demons." Riktor corrected, "Even Archdemons are iffy about wielding them."
"What the fuck is the difference?" Drakken said, "They’re demons."
"Archdemons, Demons, Chaos Demons, and Chaos Demon Gods." Viktor said, "They are fundantally....the sa.....but the truth is, they are far different than each other. Humans are closer to Demons than Demons are to Chaos Demon Gods."
"Hm." Drakken said, "All that aside, Viktor..."
Viktor looked at him, "What?"
"Why would you want to commune with the Bloodfla?" He asked, "What’s the point?"
"Not everyone wields Chaos like you, Drakken." Viktor said seriously, "You, who bears the Dragon Calamity."
"The Dragon Calamity is different than pure Chaos." Drakken said, "Right?"
"Ha!" Riktor laughed, "No, you fucking idiot!"
"Watch your tone...." Drakken warned
"Calamities are Chaos incarnate, Drakken." Viktor told him, "They are Chaos, molded by the Demiurge himself.....cursing the Mortal Realm with a piece of Chaos. And the Dragon Calamity is the most unique of all Calamities.....Primordius created it by molding the Chaos, which corrupted the Ashlands....and created the first Dragon Calamity, bestowing it upon the first ever Dragon Cursed One...."
"Hm...." Drakken said
"Did Corvinus not teach you that?" Riktor asked, "What a fucking prick, that black-winged shithead."
"Don’t ntion his na." Drakken said, "I’m getting tired of your shit lately, Riktor."
"What the fuck is your problem?" Riktor stood up and scowled, "I’m getting tired of a little shit like you barking at ."
"You want to do sothing about it?" Drakken gritted his teeth, "I’ll pull your limbs apart."
Riktor scowled, "Try it, brat!" He started, "I will-"
"Don’t fight." Viktor said seriously, "We have a job to do. Drakken, I want you to take a few days and rest here. Riktor, I have an assignnt for you. I need you to go to the Storm Mountains and make contact with Gri."
"Gri?" Riktor raised an eyebrow, "That fuck is still alive?"
"He’s a Dwarf, he’s tough to kill." Viktor said, "He has trouble with our other Vampire friends, so help him out."
Riktor sighed, "Do I have to?"
"As a reward, he will give us the Virgin Stones of The Red Queen." Viktor said
Riktor’s eyes lit up, "Oh shit!" He said, "I forgot he had them! I’ll be there in no ti!"
Riktor barged out of the room in the blink of an eye, leaving the two of them alone.
"Drakken." Viktor said
"Yea." Drakken looked at him
"You’re young." Viktor told him, "And I know you’ve gone through so serious experiences with Corvinus that will probably shape you to be the man you will be from here on out. But I want you to know...."
"We are with you, through thick and thin."
