(Third Person POV)
"You did what?!" Queen Alysanne exclaid, "You offered one of our daughters to that man?!"
Jaehaerys nodded, "There was no other choice." He said, "It is either that or our complete annihilation. You have to understand, as monstrous this man is, there is a semblance of reason with him. There were many opportunities for him to kill Aemon and Baelon in the past, yet he never did it. He wants sothing from us and if the best way to avoid his wrath is through making deals, then so be it."
They were in the King's Chambers, Drakken had left the Red Keep and left them all be. He ca in, gave them a scare, and after making the deal, he simply left. He did not seem interested in doing anything else which was to the King's relief.
"But our daughter?" Alysanne said with a frown, "There could have been many other options, a young lady of the realm, anyone but one of our girls. They are not of age, Jaehaerys!"
"I agree with Mother, Father." Baelon said, "This does not seem like the proper choice."
"What would you have do?" Jaehaerys said, "Do you want him to do what he did the day we t him? He can easily slaughter us, string our bodies up, and destroy the city. I did this for not only the sake of our Family, but our people! He has not once caused trouble since our eting, save for the battle in the Riverlands. If we can satisfy him, then he will leave us be!"
Aemon was sitting down in a chair, rubbing his temples, "Then what will we do?" He asked, "We actually go through with this? The gas, as he called them?"
Baelon looked at his brother, "Why would he think we will actually do that?"
"He knows we will." Jaehaerys said, "He knows we will because he knows we have no choice. And so long as we comply, he will not do anything rash."
"What makes you so sure?" Alysanne said
"It's sothing a King like Maegor would do." Jaehaerys said, "Sothing that soone as cruel as he is capable of. To instill fear on us and use it to maintain order. But.....this man is different.....worse than our Uncle, Alysanne...."
"Maegor is dead." Alysanne said, "He cannot harm us anymore. But this man....he's not dead.....there is no guarantee that he won't hurt our girl....our precious little girl who you so easily handed over."
"No." Baelon said, "He won't win. If we go through with this, then so be it. I will be the one who defeats him."
"What?" Aemon said, "You can't be serious. You may ride Vhagar and wield Dark Sister, but that does not place you above everyone, Brother. This man is not natural!!"
"He told us that he will limit himself.....he'll use only his skill with arms." Baelon scowled, "And I have stabbed my blade through his body before and you've seen Alyssa do the sa."
Aemon stood up, "That is different, and deep down, you know it!" He exclaid, "You stabbed him through the back at a mont where he didn't care about protecting himself because he knows he can't be killed! But in a one-on-one confrontation where he steels himself, there is no chance that you could win!"
Baelon glared at him, "You underestimate , Brother. Simply because you cannot do it, it does not an that I can't." He said, "I am skilled with the blade, I will be the one who defeats him."
"You..." Aemon started
"Boys." Alysanne said, "Do not fight. This is what he wants. He wants to drive us apart. I cannot believe this is almost working..."
"Your Mother is right, my sons." Jaehaerys said, "If there are two fighters I have the confidence to take part in this farce, then it is you two. Together, we are strong. United, The House of The Dragon is unrivaled."

(Drakken's POV)
"Y-You were offered a daughter.....a Targaryen Princess?" Mya asked as I sat down and leaned back, "By the King himself?"
We were in the Kingswood, she had set up camp prior to entering the city not too long ago. I brought her here because I had grown fond of her presence with . Ever since I stopped draining her blood, she seed more focused.
"Yes. Just like how your Father offered you." I said with a smirk
"Last I checked, you were the one who demanded to have ." She said softly
I chuckled, "I know." I said, "I am only joking."
She sat in front of the campfire, a solemn look on her face. I could tell that sothing was wrong with her and I was not sure if I cared to ask.
"Why do all of this?" She asked , "Would it not be better to continue creating more of your Drakes?"
"It gets boring, using the sa ingredients for the sa cake." I said as I looked up into the night sky, "Besides, our creation is perfect, why create more like it?"
"It's..." Mya said, "Too strong..."
"I know." I said, "That's the point."
I then looked at her and noticed that she was scratching her wrist, a familiar symptom of sothing I had told her not to do.
"You're not warging into it, are you?" I said with a raised eyebrow
She looked away, "Uhm...."
"I told you, it will harm you more if you keep doing that." I told her, "Stop it."
"I...." She said, "I get bored and lonely whenever you leave."
"So you just warg into it to pass the ti? What, you think you'll use it against or sothing?" I asked her
"N-No!" She said, "I would never do that."
"Then what?" I asked
"I was curious." She said, "It is possible to do it so why not try? And I would never betray you, Lord Drakken."
"Mhm...." I said
"I'm serious!" She said with a frown, "I would never! But the thing is....."
"Yea?" I crossed my arms and felt a yawn coming
"You've had for two years yet not once have you...." she said softly, "Made an advance on ."
I looked at her with a bit of surprise, "Oh shit....." I said, "Is this what they call.....what did Viktor call it again? Stocker Syndro? N-No...shit, what was the na of the island they called this after? Stockholm? Yea, Stockholm. Is that what this is?"
"W-What?" She asked
"Those feelings aren't real." I told her, "You should forget about them."
"But..." She said as she stood up, "They're real to !"
I raised an eyebrow, "What do you want from ?" I asked her, "I gave you the choice to leave and you didn't want to leave. Do as you please. You have every opportunity to go and sleep with whatever man looks at you."
"But you'll just kill them!" She said
I chuckled, "Yea, I will." I said, genuinely finding it funny, "So what of it?"
"Just...." She said as she looked down, "It's nothing."
"Good." I said, "I have a task for you. Preparing for the Drakken Gas will be easy enough but there is a little sche that we will begin."
"And you'll be the key to it."
