(Drakken's POV)
"Resistance has been brought down to a complete halt." Mya told , "All of the Houses that thought of resisting have sent word of their surrender. There are still remnants of soldiers scattered, however."
I nodded, "Have Olyver build a group designated to hunt them down." I said as I looked at the map, "None of them are falling for it."
"My Lord?" I asked
"The other regions." I said, "They have not risen up in response. I don't expect the Stormlands or Dorne to do anything but the Reach and The Vale? Quite strange."
"Perhaps the King saw through this and ordered them to stand down." Mya said as she leaned down, "Perhaps we should get a fleet of our own and cut off the Blackwater.....but to do that we need to cut the Duskguard through the Crownlands. Doing that will spark an actual war. Is that what we want?"
"Not yet." I said as I looked down, "Has Jaehaerys sent a letter?"
"No." She said
"That cunning fox..." I smirked, "He must have a sche in mind. Here I was wondering why the Faith was restricted...."
"What should we do? The Duskguard are in position." She said, "We can cut off the Crownlands as you desire, have you changed your mind."
"Hm...." I said as I gave it a good thought
Perhaps doing that will not incite the reaction I want. But nevertheless, there is obviously sothing at play. Jaehaerys is planning sothing but I do wonder if it will be a hostile action. I don't think he is that stupid. What I want is for the Faith to rebel and try to attack , I know that the Targaryens really don't want to oppose .
They are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They are exactly where I want them. But what I want them to do.....they are not exactly doing just that.
"Maintain contact with House Lannister, have the Duskguard in the Westerlands to patrol the borders." I said, "I want direct trading routes between the Riverlands and Lannisport to be heavily guarded. If they are raided, I want those responsible to be destroyed. House Tully has been holed up for weeks, why?"
"They have rations that will last at least a decade." Mya said, "According to my intel."
"Good. Keep them there." I said, "Let them feel hopeless. They sent cries for help to Jaehaerys and he has not acted."
She nodded, "What of The Vale?" She asked, "The Reach?"
"Send a letter to Houses Arryn and Tyrell." I said, "A warning to the possibility of them acting. If they wish to answer any calls from their King, I will have destruction rain on their castles and obliterate their entire lines."
"Of course." She said, "I will do that."
"Hm." I said, "As for the North, I doubt they will act. But in case....I will leave the Neck with a surprise....."
"A surprise?" She asked
"I summoned two wyrms not too long ago." I said, "I have them scouring the lands and feeding. They will replicate and I will have so hole themselves up in the Neck. If any Northern presence cos through there, they will find out."
"I see." She said, "My Lord, can I speak my mind?"
"About?" I asked
"Saera." She said
I looked at her, "What is it?"
"She is rather clingy." She said
"Yes. She is." I said, "But that is not your problem, is it?"
"I fear that she has an ambition that could prove to be a danger for us." She said, "I just wish for you to know or at least see through it."
"She has not yet learned her place here." I told her, "Soon, she will learn it."
"All she wants is to lay with you, as if using her body can completely win you over." She said, "You need to know that she intends to manipula-"
"You rember the story of the two Vampire Lords that 'seduced' in order to kill ?" I asked
"Y-Yes..." she said
"If that story is not enough to let you know how I feel about such sentints, allow to tell you a new one." I said, "One of the Six Demon Lords, Lilith, she had hatched a plan to have one of her daughters to fall in love with . It was a plan that lasted for at least seven years. For myself and a demon, it is not too long. For a regular individual, it is quite a lot. I saw through it, quite easily. The She-Demon took the form of a beautiful woman, dark hair, black eyes, similar to how you look, actually....."
"M-My Lord...." She said
"Anyways." I continued, "She used nothing but her body and looks to pull in. And well, for years, I had spent bedding her. She was amazing in bed, I must say. We both pleasured each other. It got to the point where she wanted to marry . And well, we had an entire ceremony set up.....I even had Riktor and Viktor attending, which was quite rare of them.....basically, to make a long story short....during that wedding, her plan was revealed and it turns out that she was only luring to a specific location at a specific ti for a Helldoor to open and her Mother can cross forth with a vessel. Both of them stabbed with a powerful Demonic weapon and their intentions were to kill right there and then...."
"And....." Mya looked at
"Well, I saw it coming." I chuckled, "I wanted Lilith to manifest herself into my world through a vessel. I destroyed said vessel and I ripped her daughter apart, killing everyone who she invited. Riktor and Viktor were a bit shocked but they wasted no ti in backing up. The entire ordeal was a massacre and that event kickstarted a direct conflict with one of the Six Demon Lords. Eventually, Valkren and Syrius got involved, and it led to a serious war."
"I...." She started, "I see...."
"My point is.." I said, "I know what Saera is doing. It won't work. It is getting to a point where I am growing tired. But hey, who am I to refuse good sex?"
She chuckled, "Of course." She said, "Say, My Lord. The reason you accepted as your woman, was it because I looked like that Demon? I imagine bedding her must have been good."
I shrugged, "Not really." I said, "I accepted you because of your hard work and loyalty. You are your own person, Mya. Your own beauty....."
I reached for her cheek and patted it as she gave a smile.
"I see...." she said
"You don't have to worry about Saera. She will soon learn to mature." I told her, "Whatever concerns you have.....about her ambitions....know that you are the mother of my firstborn. Nothing will ever change that."
"Do you understand?"
