(Third Person POV)

[Driftmark]

On the skies above Driftmark, the burning clouds spread out like wildfire, vicious lightning crackling all around as booming thunder resounded through the air. Those who resides in Driftmark, from commoners to soldiers, to even those of House Velaryon, looked up in horror as Grayle descended upon them.

The massive dragon glared at them, his eyes piercing with nothing but rage.

He let out a growl, the lightning around his burning wounds got thicker and crackled more viciously as he flapped his wings. The growl was loud enough to be heard all throughout the island. Everyone heard it, even those who were asleep. They could not help but feel a serious feeling of dread in their being, the feeling that sothing horrible was about to happen.

And it was.

Grayle had descended upon them; nothing good would co out of it.

The Wyvern opened his maw and unleashed a massive stream of flas that hit the coast of Driftmark, explosions of flas and lightning erupted as he swept through high above in the sky. In the matter of seconds, a massive wall of flas had appeared on Drifmark, lightning crackling and striking the surroundings, resulting in even more potent explosions.

The sight of a dragon slightly larger than Vhagar was an imposing one, one that would strike fear in anyone. The sight of that sa dragon unleashing a massive wall of flas in a matter of seconds, a wall nearly as high as the one in the North, was a sight that was ripped straight out of a nightmare.

Innocent or guilty, those who resided in Driftmark did not know what would beco of their fate. A powerful being had co out of the pits of the Seven Hells and decided to destroy their ho; at least that was sothing that so would think.

But Grayle was no being from this world's hells. Grayle was a being from a hell belonging to a different reality, a different dinsion, a different universe.

Grayle was a Royal Wyvern, a powerful subspecies of Wyvern that hails from Infernis.

Wyverns are draconic beings, winged creatures that are said to be the closest relatives to Dragons, despite being "inferior". Two wings and legs, with the ability to breathe any elent, That is a Wyvern. Regular Wyverns breathe flas, as Fire is the breath of life that had given form by Primordius, the Creator Dragon God.

Frost Wyverns breathe ice, Stone Wyverns have no breath but have powerful wings and claws that allow them to burrow underneath the ground, creating tremors that result in earthquakes.

Those are Wyverns.

Royal Wyverns, are the Superior versions of Wyverns, with the innate ability to wield Sorcery. They possess an elental breath, which cos straight from their maws. But what qualifies a Royal Wyvern is the ability for them to wield their elent outside of their Breath.

For example, a Fla Royal Wyvern can create flas out of thin air and use them as a weapon, raining down balls of fire down onto its prey.

A Frost Royal Wyvern can freeze its prey by emitting its Cold via its scales, having no need for their breath attacks.

A Storm Wyvern has the powerful ability to command the skies, forming stormclouds with flaps of its wings and charging its entire body with powerful surges of lightning.

Royal Wyverns are dangerous Magic Beasts, capable of giving any Sorcerer trouble. Royal Wyverns are powerful, feared throughout Terra as the pinnacle of Nature. Only Dragons are above Royal Wyverns in terms of power.

Anyone who can fight a Royal Wyvern and survive they are considered to be a powerful individuals.

Royal Wyverns are incredible beings that even their superior kin acknowledge.

And there could be instances of a Royal Wyvern that wields two powerful elents. A Royal Wyvern that can create storms of flas, wildfires of pure lightning, and pure devastation.

Grayle is one of those instances.

A Royal Wyvern created by Drakken, the Dragon God.

He is nothing but pure destruction, the incarnation of Drakken's lust for devastation.

And he was set upon Driftmark, the entire island was dood.

Grayle flew in a circle, high above the island. The burning clouds began to form a spiral, emitting flares of flas and lightning. The wyvern began to let out a vicious roar that shook the entire air, the island caught up in it.

In the distance, Balerion ca into view, flying towards Driftmark.

Atop him, Baelon had a desperate look on his face, "Gods...." He said, "The entire sky looks like it is going to burn...!! This....this looks like the end of the world!!"

Balerion let out a defiant roar, glaring right Grayle, who was in the sky, flapping his burning wings.

"That....thing....!!" Baelon said, "That is no Dragon....!! It is a monstrosity created by Drakken!! Balerion.....we have to stop it!!!"

"Forward!!!"

Balerion flapped his wings, picking up his speed, trying to make it towards Grayle.

On the ground, Velaryon soldiers looked at the incoming Black Dread.

"A-A Dragon?!" one of them exclaid, "A Black one!!"

"By the gods....!!!" an aged Velaryon captain said as he stood there, frozen, "It cannot be...!! I have to be dreaming! That is Balerion! The last I've seen him from afar was before he was lost!!"

"Balerion?!" another said, "Soone claid him!!"

"Whatever the case is, he is probably here to fight that one in the sky above!!" The captain said, "Gods help us all....."

Everyone saw how Balerion flew towards Grayle, who was simply flapping his wings, staying afloat and looking down at the island.

Baelon tightened his grip on the handles, "Here we go..."

"Dracarys!!!"

Balerion unleashed a massive torrent of flas, firing straight at Grayle. The flas hit the Wyvern and exploded violently, spreading all throughout his body and resulting in a massive cloud of black smoke.

Baelon narrowed his eyes to see that Grayle was flapping his wings, seemingly unfazed by Balerion's flas.

"W-What?!" He exclaid, "No reaction?!"

Grayle did not even both to react to this, simply looked down at Drifmark, ignoring Balerion who flew under him and past.

Baelon looked up, seeing that as the flas dispersed, save for the one on Grayle's wounds, Grayle did not even acknowledge either of them.

"W-We're nothing to it.....?" Baelon said, taken aback, "H-How...."

Suddenly, Grayle flapped his wings hard and let out a vicious roar, resulting in a powerful shockwave of heat that spread throughout the air all around him. The burning clouds above him got thicker and the lightning got far more potent as Grayle's body emitted crackling lightning.

The shockwave hit Balerion and caused him to lose balance, despite his being larger than Grayle, even if slightly. Baelon was also hit by the shockwave, feeling the tense heat from it.

"G-Gods...!!" He said as he widened his eyes, "No....!!"

Balerion tried to turn around, but a second shockwave, far more potent, hit them and it staggered him, The Black Dread was disoriented completely.

Then, Baelon looked back to see that Grayle had fired off a massive fireball from his maw, followed by several others that erupted from the clouds.

His face went pale as Balerion was slowly falling down, seeing the dozens of massive teor-like fireballs that rapidly descended upon the island of Driftmark, charged with lightning.

"No...." His voice was but a whisper, completely distraught with his uselessness

On that day...

Driftmark t its fate.

Complete Devastation.
