As the Queen of Styxia, along with numerous elders and soldiers, stared at the enormous dragon corpse blocking their only remaining path to survival, none of them knew what they were supposed to do next.

It lay across the passage like an insurmountable mountain, its massive scales already dulled by death, yet still radiating a terrifying pressure that made it difficult for ordinary people to even approach it.

Just as the surrounding atmosphere was becoming so heavy that even breathing itself felt somewhat suffocating, a gentle breeze carrying the salty, fishy stench of seawater drifted over from the distant shore and swept past their noses.

Some of them subconsciously turned their heads, looking toward the small path that connected the city-state to the coast.

On that narrow path, two figures slowly appeared, walking over at an unhurried yet steady pace.

One was a young man with an upright build, dressed in simple black casual clothes, wearing a calm and relaxed expression, with a faint smile resting at the corner of his mouth, as though the suffocating situation before everyone else meant absolutely nothing to him at all.

At his side walked an extremely beautiful young woman in a white and blue dress, her long black hair cascading all the way to her waist smoothly. Her elegant appearance and tranquil temperament made her seem almost detached from the mortal world around her.

Needless to say, they were none other than Lucian and Hysilens.

Hysilens curiously examined the distant city-state, the gathered crowd, and the tense atmosphere surrounding the area before her gaze finally settled upon the massive dragon corpse lying across the path.

"So that's the Death Titan you mentioned, the source that will lead to the city-state's destruction in the future..."

"Yeah... Styxia and I do have a bit of a connection..."

At Hysilens's words, Lucian responded with a soft nod, quietly gazing at the dragon corpse with a somewhat nostalgic and tender look in his eyes.

Styxia could be said to be the homeland of Castorice and Polyxia, but it could also be considered Hysilens's homeland as well.

By coincidence, these three women were connected to him in one way or another.

Out of affection for the people he cared about, Styxia ended up benefiting without needing to do anything at all.

Lucian still remembered that, in Castorice's script, the last time he had come here, this place had already become a city of the dead—the streets had been silent, the buildings ruined, and not a single trace of life could be seen anywhere.

But now, things were different.

Styxia finally had a chance to avoid that tragic future.

As the two of them continued drawing closer and closer, the people gathered near the dragon corpse finally noticed their arrival one after another.

"Hey, who are you?! Leave immediately—this place is dangerous!"

Before long, when Lucian and Hysilens were only about ten meters away from them, two soldiers immediately stepped forward to block their path, their expressions tense and filled with vigilance.

Lucian, however, showed no intention of stopping and simply continued walking forward at an unhurried pace, effortlessly passing by the two soldiers as though they were not even there.

He only came to a stop when he was standing not far from the queen and the elders, while Hysilens quietly remained close at his side from beginning to end.

In that instant, his calm gaze slowly swept across the surroundings—over the pale-faced queen, over the stunned elders, over the enormous dragon corpse lying heavily upon the ground—and finally returned to the queen once more.

"Queen of Styxia, the ocean has heard your and your people's prayers."

"About this dragon."

"About the River of Souls."

"About... death."

Lucian's calm voice slowly echoed throughout the area.

Hearing those words, the queen instantly froze in place, while the surrounding elders subconsciously looked at one another, their eyes filled with bewilderment and uncertainty.

"Y-You... who are you?"

Still unable to fully believe what she was hearing, the queen cautiously asked.

"Me? I am entrusted by Phagousa to protect these seas—the sea sirens call me the Ocean King."

Lucian's expression remained completely unchanged as he calmly introduced himself.

"Ocean King?"

"Phagousa?"

"Did he mean that the Ocean Titan entrusted him?"

In an instant, the crowd erupted into an uproar, and whispers filled with doubt, disbelief, and shock rapidly spread throughout the surroundings.

"Lucian, they don't seem to really believe it…"

Hysilens gently tugged on Lucian's sleeve and whispered softly into his ear, her voice carrying a faint trace of worry.

Lucian calmly patted the back of her hand, signaling for her to relax.

"Well, what did you expect? Guess my entrance was kinda too low-key, so all of you got suspicious, huh..."

Right after saying this, Lucian slowly raised his hand and pointed toward the distant sea.

*BOOM!*

Driven by overwhelming Imaginary energy, the originally calm sea suddenly exploded into chaos as a colossal wave violently erupted upward, transforming into a thousand-meter-high wall of water that blotted out the surrounding light and cast a massive shadow over the entirety of Styxia.

In an instant, as the roaring sound of surging seawater echoed out like heavenly wrath itself, causing the entire atmosphere to instantly become suffocatingly heavy, the queen, the elders, and the surrounding soldiers were so terrified that their eyes widened in horror while their legs completely gave out beneath them, causing all of them to collapse to their knees on the spot.

Cold sweat rapidly covered their bodies as they stared at the terrifying giant wave towering above Styxia like an unavoidable divine punishment.

"F-Forgive us, Ocean King! We dare not doubt you! Please withdraw your divine might!"

With a trembling and fearful voice, the queen immediately took the lead in begging for forgiveness while kneeling on the ground, not even daring to raise her head.

Just moments ago, she and the others had genuinely suspected that these two might be scammers attempting to deceive them, but now, anyone who still doubted it would be a complete idiot.

Such a horrifying giant wave alone was more than enough to crash down and completely wipe out Styxia in a single instant, even faster than the River of Souls itself.

Hearing the queen's terrified plea, Lucian merely raised his hand once more before slowly clenching it into a fist.

In that instant, the towering wave rapidly calmed down as if an invisible force had forcibly suppressed the raging sea itself—the massive wall of water steadily fell back into the ocean, and after only a short while, the previously violent sea surface became completely tranquil once again, as though nothing had happened at all.

While the Ocean Titan used their divine authority over the ocean to control seawater, making the endless tides obedient like a beast tamer controlling monsters in fantasy novels, Lucian directly used Imaginary energy to forcefully dominate and manipulate the sea itself.

Although the methods were completely different in nature, the visual effect was practically identical, so the identity of the so-called Ocean King was effectively confirmed in everyone's eyes.

Seeing nothing more than a single point of his finger and a single grasp of his hand, he could make the sea rage violently before forcing the roaring tides back into absolute silence—if he wasn't the Ocean King, then who else could he possibly be?

"T-Thank you!"

"Thank you!"

"Thank you for forgiving our rudeness, Ocean King!"

Just like that, everyone hurriedly expressed their gratitude one after another, and no one wanted to provoke Lucian's displeasure again after witnessing such terrifying power with their own eyes.

"Get up. I'm gonna deal with this dragon corpse now. All of you withdraw."

Lucian's gaze once again fell upon the massive dragon corpse lying nearby, his expression remaining calm as he did not bother explaining his origins any further.

"Everyone! Leave this place immediately!"

Seeing that Lucian was not angry, the queen did not hesitate in the slightest and immediately gave the order in an extremely decisive manner.

In response, the soldiers immediately complied and began retreating in an orderly fashion, while the elders also hurriedly withdrew, not a single person daring to voice even the slightest objection whatsoever.

Very quickly, the surroundings became completely deserted and silent, leaving behind only Lucian and Hysilens standing near the enormous dragon corpse.

Hysilens, still feeling slightly nervous after everything that had just happened, quietly reached out and grabbed Lucian's hand almost instinctively, as though seeking reassurance from his presence.

"Lucian… is there anything you need me to do?"

"Nah, just stay here, watch, and cheer me on."

"Just watch? Is that alright?"

Lucian merely smiled without answering.

After gently releasing Hysilens's hand, he slowly walked toward the massive dragon corpse lying not far away.

Counting the previous resurrection in Castorice's script, this was already the second time he had brought Polyxia back to life.

For him, who had already experienced several different scripts, many, many countless years had long since passed since those days, so seeing her again inevitably stirred a trace of nostalgia within him.

No matter what, he truly missed his two cute Death Titans.

Standing before the enormous dragon corpse, Lucian quietly gazed at it for a few seconds before letting out a soft sigh. Soon after, he directly used the Godly Bandage, causing long strips of white bandages to rapidly wrap around the dead dragon's body layer after layer.

Needless to say, the main reason he had everyone else leave earlier was to prevent anyone from seeing Polyxia's bare body after her resurrection.

Even so, just to be completely safe, he still raised a massive dome-shaped barrier made entirely from Imaginary energy, thoroughly isolating the scene inside from the outside world.

Just as he expected, the dead dragon's enormous body soon began to change as the resurrection process took effect. Amid the layers of white bandages, the gigantic dragon gradually transformed once again into the form of a young woman.

Before long, as the bandages slowly unraveled one after another, Polyxia's figure was finally revealed, still completely naked just like during the previous resurrection.

Lucian knew her body far too well, inside and out, so his gaze did not linger on it for too long. Remaining completely calm, he directly took the clothes he had already prepared beforehand and carefully dressed her.

When Hysilens witnessed the dragon corpse transform into a naked woman and then saw Lucian personally dressing her body, an indescribable emotion suddenly emerged within her heart.

Even she herself could not understand where that strange feeling came from, but at this moment, she unexpectedly felt the urge to immediately cover Lucian's eyes and stop him from continuing to look at the other woman.

Unfortunately, restrained by the difference in their status and position, she ultimately did not dare to act on those thoughts and could only silently struggle with the chaotic emotions inside her heart.

A few moments later, Polyxia's eyelashes trembled slightly before her eyes slowly opened.

As soon as she regained consciousness, her gaze, carrying traces of vigilance, confusion, and deep wariness, instantly fell upon Lucian and Hysilens standing before her.

Lucian, in response, simply looked back at Polyxia with a calm and composed expression, his gaze remaining steady without the slightest fluctuation.

"You're awake, Polyxia."

As Lucian's words entered her ears, Polyxia's body trembled violently, while her pupils shrank sharply as she stared at him in disbelief.

"Y-You... Who are you?" Polyxia asked in a very soft and slightly hoarse voice, her expression filled with obvious caution and confusion. "How do you know... my real name?"

Hearing this, Hysilens looked at Lucian in amazement before quickly turning toward the woman called Polyxia, her eyes flickering slightly.

'Lucian… knows her?'

Hysilens thought in bewilderment, her hands unconsciously clenching tightly into fists.

'But... Isn't this woman supposed to be the Death Titan?'

'Does Lucian... actually have some kind of connection with the Death Titan?'

'But judging from her reaction, she doesn't seem to recognize him at all...'

As countless thoughts rapidly flashed through Hysilens's mind while she tried to uncover the truth behind everything, Lucian suddenly spoke up with the same flat tone and indifferent expression as before.

"My name is Lucian, your... old friend... Well, you don't remember me anymore. Don't worry about your sister. She was adopted by the Queen of Styxia and will grow up safely."

Just like that, Polyxia's hidden past was calmly revealed by Lucian in a single breath, leaving her completely stunned on the spot. Yet precisely because of that, the caution and vigilance in her eyes also gradually weakened.

After all, the details he mentioned were simply too specific.

She couldn't help but wonder whether she had truly forgotten him, forgotten this old friend from her distant past.

In any case, considering the fact that the man standing before her had saved her life and even knew about her past, he definitely had no intention of harming her.

"Thank you for helping my sister... I... will always remember you..."

Polyxia spoke in a soft and grateful voice as she lowered her head slightly in a respectful bow, her expression carrying obvious sincerity and lingering emotion.

"Mm, remember me well," Lucian replied while nodding gently, a faint smile finally appearing on his face. "If you forget me again next time, I'm definitely gonna teach you a lesson."

He understood very clearly that this script world was Hysilens's domain, which also meant that this Polyxia was neither his follower nor his wife. Even so, after unexpectedly meeting Polyxia again, he still could not resist chatting with her for a while and reminiscing a little about the past.

Meanwhile, as Lucian and Polyxia continued talking more and more, the atmosphere between them gradually grew increasingly familiar and intimate, until Hysilens finally could not stand watching anymore.

A faint frown gradually appeared on her beautiful face as she stepped forward without hesitation and naturally hooked her arm around Lucian's, almost as if declaring her presence.

"Lucian, are you done talking? Look, the River of Souls seems to be rising again."

Wanting to know exactly why Lucian had been chatting with Polyxia so enthusiastically, Hysilens deliberately maintained a casual tone on the surface while secretly sizing Polyxia up from head to toe.

"Right, you should return to the her realm first and take care of the River of Souls. We'll talk again when there's time. I'll stay here for now."

Interrupted by Hysilens, Lucian slowly put away his wandering thoughts and told Polyxia to first handle what needed to be done before finally dismissing the surrounding dome barrier.

Indeed.

Only by completely eliminating Styxia's threat could he peacefully continue living here together with Hysilens without needing to worry about future trouble.

Polyxia nodded in response, then transformed into a giant white dragon, bid Lucian farewell, and spread her enormous wings before soaring into the sky.

Her massive dragon figure swept across the sky above Styxia, carrying an overwhelming sense of majesty as she raced toward the distant horizon in the direction of the her realm.

In the next moment, the powerful gusts stirred by her wings scattered the clouds apart, and before long, her enormous white silhouette gradually disappeared completely into the thick sea of clouds.

At the same time, countless people—the queen, elders, soldiers, and civilians gathered near the city walls—all raised their heads and stared dazedly at the breathtaking scene unfolding above them as they watched the giant white dragon fly through the sky and depart.

Along with that, the water level of the River of Souls also began to steadily recede with the dragon's departure, the surging waters gradually calming as they slowly seeped back underground.

"Ocean King!"

"A-A miracle! It's a miracle!"

"Thank you, Ocean King!"

"Hurry and record the Ocean King's great deeds and spread them! I want all of Amphoreus to know that it was the Ocean King who saved Styxia!"
