"You, you are... what?"

Seeing Robin's state, Derick's face was bewildered.

This young man looks several years younger than , with such a simple expression, like a student who hasn't even left school yet. He couldn't possibly be completely unaware of the current situation, could he?

A feeling of sympathy arose in Robin's heart.

"You, you were also captured by the Borisin, weren't you? Don't worry, I'll help you," Robin said to Derick.

"Then how did you get here?" Robin asked curiously.

"I am the War Chief of the Borisin!" Derick directly admitted his identity.

Hearing him say this, Robin instinctively took two steps back. But then, her face turned into one of stunned silence.

"I know you said that to ease the tension, worrying that I might be nervous. But honestly, we've already reached this point; whether our mood is good or bad doesn't make much difference," Robin said gently to Derick.

Just as Derick didn't know what to say, a Borisin handmaiden walked in. Seeing an extra Borisin suddenly appear in the room, Robin's breathing beca quick and tense.

When she reached Derick, the Borisin handmaiden imdiately knelt down with utmost sincerity.

"War—War Chief, sir," she said in a nervous tone. "I've already arranged Miss Robin's resting chamber. You, you can take her to the resting chamber anyti."

"Alright, you may go," Derick said casually, waving his hand at the Borisin handmaiden.

Seeing Derick's deanor, the Borisin handmaiden breathed a sigh of relief. Then, under Robin's shocked gaze, she departed from Derick's side.

Robin imdiately pressed herself against the wall, looking at Derick with a wary gaze. "You're really the Borisin War Chief?"

"That's right, I just told you, I'm the new War Chief of the Borisin," Derick nodded.

"So, is your current appearance just a disguise?" Robin asked Derick warily.

But why Derick would do such a thing left Robin confused.

Could he have changed his appearance to make feel at ease? That's impossible; this isn't the usual tactic of the Borisin.

Would you spend several hours applying makeup just to eat bread?

"No, this is just how I look," Derick said, pointing to himself. "I'm not a Borisin."

Derick even pinched his own skin a few tis, showing Robin that he was indeed human.

"Then what exactly is going on with you?"

"I used my origin to conquer the Borisin," Derick told Robin.

Watching him make such a gesture with his handso face, Robin really wanted to laugh. But then, the expression on her face turned solemn.

The Borisin handmaiden's fearful expression just now, and the fawning attitude of the Borisin who brought her here, all undoubtedly told Robin just how terrifying this good-looking young man in front of her truly was.

Her crisis wasn't resolved; it simply ant the person she faced was better looking. But if he could conquer the Borisin using a non-Borisin race, his ruthlessness and ferocity were likely even greater than the previous War Chief's.

"You should go to the resting chamber first… Don't worry, it's your own private resting chamber," Derick said to Robin, then seeing her terrified eyes, he quickly added.

He, what is he going to do?

Robin currently had little trust in Derick.

"If you don't agree to my terms, then I'll just have my Borisin subordinates eat your people."

Hearing Derick say this, Robin clenched her fists.

This hit her weak spot.

"I understand," Robin said, walking towards the resting chamber.

At the sa ti, she continuously prayed in her heart, hoping soone would co to save her.

Derick then walked towards the command bridge of the Beast Ship.

Halfway there, he encountered Moze. Seeing Derick appear alone, Moze's face showed a puzzled expression.

"Lord Derick, aren't you with that star?" he asked, puzzled.

"She was very tired and scared when she arrived here, so I told her to rest first," Derick said to Moze.

No, is the War Chief truly this gentle with won? Moze looked at Derick's thoughts, feeling confused.

When did they, the Borisin, ever care about such things?!

But, this was Derick's order, and Moze dared not argue in the slightest. Derick could be kind and soft-hearted towards the young woman, but he wouldn't be towards him.

"Let's just consider it the War Chief's personal hobby," Moze thought to himself.

"Oh, right, take Robin's companions and lock them up on our Beast Ship," Derick instructed Moze.

This also counted as protecting Robin's assistants and others.

"Understood, understood," Moze replied, assuming Derick intended to use them to threaten Robin, and naturally, he went to act with a beaming smile.

Watching him act this way, Derick continued walking towards the command room.

Before he even reached the command room, Cipher appeared and threw an arm around his neck.

"Hey, Derick, is that songstress pretty?" Cipher asked Derick in a low voice, her expression a little jealous.

"Mm," Derick nodded.

Derick nodded again.

Cipher posed one last question.

"So, is she… moist?"

Derick was about to nod again, but just as he was halfway through, he reacted and poked Cipher's stomach.

"I didn't even touch her, how would I know? Didn't I bring her here precisely because I didn't want to expose my position before saving her?" Derick said to Cipher. "I'm a very upright person, I would never ss around."

"Oh, who knows?" Cipher mumbled softly.

Others might not know Derick, but she certainly knew what Derick had done behind Castorice's back.

"Huh?" Derick looked at Cipher with a puzzled gaze. Cipher waved her hands repeatedly, saying no more.

Derick's secret wasn't ant to be used at this mont.

"Huh? What did you say?" Derick asked Cipher.

"Hehe, can't say, can't say," Cipher said, patting her backside as she scampered off.

Her coming here was also to show a jealous attitude; otherwise, if Derick and Robin were "ssing around" and they showed no reaction, it would be too fake.

After another full day of sailing, Derick returned to his resting chamber. Jingliu was still in the sa room as him, and she had occupied the bed in the resting chamber, forcing Derick to rest on the sofa.

It was too difficult for Jingliu, impersonating Castorice, to perform a jealous act, so only Cipher had taken her place.

However, perhaps because she had teased him yesterday, Jingliu didn't tease him today; she just sat cross-legged on the bed, ditating quietly.

Seeing her like this, Derick also breathed a sigh of relief. He laid on the sofa and began to drift into dreamland.

More mories began to flash back continuously.

Derick found himself fighting another unknown Golden-blooded individual. Only after killing her did Derick learn her na.

Derick found himself appearing again at the Eye of Morning Snow, and his weapon directly pierced through Hyacine's petite body, along with Little Yika's body.

Hysilens.

The mory transford again; this ti, it beca him ambushing an Empress sitting on a throne.

This seed to be the first-generation leader of the Fla-Chasing Journey, Empress Charybdis of Okhema.

The sword's edge swept through, and the throne fell to the ground.

Fla-Reaver, what exactly did you do?

Seeing the way the gaze still carried a hint of pity, Derick's hands trembled slightly.

This seed to be the first-generation leader of the Fla-Chasing Journey, Empress Charybdis of Okhema.

Derick found himself back in Amphoreus.

Huh?!

What's going on? Is this a dream? Derick thought to himself.

Then, he found himself on a large tree, with many houses in the distance.

Sacred Enlightennt Tree Court. Derick had been here once before; why was he back here in a dream now?

As he was thinking, he found Batrus and Cipher standing before him.

"You swordsman, don't think you'll get the Spark so easily," Batrus said.

"Zagres, you can't stop ."

Derick heard the body from "his" perspective say this.

Hearing this, Derick's heart skipped a beat.

Zagres, isn't that the na of the Titan of Trickery? And hadn't he already died? How could he have turned into a Rogue Spirit? Also, what exactly is going on here? And that guy, Cipher, as a Trickster Demigod, just how many things has she been hiding from others?!

Derick felt puzzled, yet he found that his own perspective was holding a sword and attacking Batrus and Cipher.

After a few moves, Batrus and Cipher were eliminated by "himself."

"What on earth is happening? My dreams absolutely couldn't be like this," Derick thought to himself.

But then, he understood a little.

This was probably the result of the Fla-Reaver's body being absorbed by him. This was the Fla-Reaver's perspective, his mories.

Cipher was clearly alive and well, so how could the Fla-Reaver have killed her? Derick felt perplexed.

But then the scene rapidly changed, transforming into a battle against Mydei in Hanging Blade City.

Wielding the weapon in hand, he ca behind Mydei and pierced through his spine, ensuring he could never revive.

Mydei was also alive and well in Amphoreus, so how did this scene of killing him co about? This wasn't a false mory; it was a genuine mory. Where did this mory co from?

The mories continued to flash.

Derick's perspective shifted again; the illusion that appeared before him was a sea of flowers. And this sea of flowers was in the Page Realm.

Within the Labyrinthine Sea of the Page Realm, Castorice, holding a scythe, attacked him.

Derick felt his perspective retaliate without the slightest hesitation.

After several exchanges, Castorice was clearly outmatched. Derick wanted to stop, but he couldn't; the longsword still pierced through Castorice's chest without hesitation, extracting the Spark belonging to the Death Titan from her body.
