Derick's dominance had established initial prestige within the Borisin tribe. The Borisin dared not disobey his orders.
"Let's go, it's ti to head to the Borisin's headquarters," Derick said to Moldu.
At this mont, Moldu had also reverted to his Borisin form: a wolf-headed, human-bodied figure over three ters tall. An ordinary person would truly be startled, but Derick thought that compared to Hoolay, Moldu was far inferior. Hoolay could still be considered a true overlord, but Moldu was nothing more than a common bandit.
"Yes, Lord Derick, I'll lead the way now," Moldu said, nodding repeatedly.
After witnessing Derick devour the Borisin, Moldu had developed an initial trust in him. He now eagerly wanted to bring Derick back to the Borisin headquarters and declare the birth of a new king to all the Borisin.
Derick continued, "By the way, regarding my identity, do not reveal my appearance."
He didn't care if the higher-ups of the Xianzhou Alliance knew his true intentions, but Derick still needed to consider the sentints of the Xianzhou common folk.
"I understand, Lord Derick."
Moldu believed Derick intended to play both sides, and he fully supported this.
Cipher also made a request to Moldu, saying, "Oh, also, let see your star map, so I can see which planets are interesting."
"Yes, Miss," Moldu nodded repeatedly.
Cipher was indeed curious about these things. Mastering more information about various planets would effectively help her beco an excellent thief in the universe in the future.
anwhile, Polyxia and Jingliu, disguised as Castorice, stood quietly to the side.
Derick observed the beast ship thoroughly. However, this beast ship was a standard Borisin model. During battles with the Xianzhou Alliance, countless similar ships had been sunk, shot down, or captured, with all their data recorded. Derick looked around, simply confirming the data. The beast ship started moving, heading toward the planet where the Borisin resided.
Derick walked around and, finding it uninteresting, returned to the central command room. "Moldu, where is the resting room? Take there."
"Yes, Lord Derick." Moldu led Derick and the others toward the resting room. Cipher was still studying the star maps and did not follow them.
Upon reaching the resting room, Derick once again marveled at the level of Borisin civilization and technology, and their clearly stratified class system. The resting room prepared for Derick was many tis better than his room at the Spices-of-Life Inn. Resting and entertainnt functions were very ample.
"Lord Derick, are you satisfied? If you're not satisfied, I can change it," Moldu asked worriedly, fearing he would be displeased.
"It's good enough." Derick wasn't so picky as to complain about this, and he nodded in satisfaction.
"That's good," Moldu breathed a sigh of relief, hearing Derick's approval. He then pointed to the nearby resting rooms and said, "These are the rooms prepared for the ladies. Everyone can go and rest."
Derick stepped forward, preparing to enter his room, but to his surprise, Jingliu walked into the room first. This surprised everyone.
"What... what is happening?!" he thought. "Didn't we agree that sisters would stick together, and she'd stay with Polyxia? Why is she now coming to my room?"
Derick quickly reacted. He pretended nothing was amiss and walked into the room. Polyxia, rubbing her eyes, walked into her own room.
After Derick entered, he closed the beast ship's door. Inside, Jingliu, still disguised as Castorice, sat cross-legged on the bed with her shoes off, her eyes closed in rest. Despite having the exact sa face, Jingliu exuded a completely different aura than Castorice.
"Miss Jingliu, what are you doing?" Derick asked.
With only the two of them, and Derick making no attempt to conceal anything, he wasn't worried about eavesdropping. With his and Jingliu's strength, if they could truly be overheard, they would accept it.
Jingliu's disguise vanished, and she returned to her silver-haired, mature woman appearance. Her bare feet were exposed, and the curve of her instep had an aggressive sharpness.
"I'm not used to being with soone I don't communicate with for a long ti. At the sa ti, being with you seems more normal," she said to Derick. Her scarlet eyes looked at him, her tone slightly teasing. "I don't mind these things, so why do you, Little Brother Derick?"
She even stretched out her right foot in a teasing gesture to prod him.
Derick's expression was sowhat speechless. Jingliu was a bit Mara-Struck; her actions were quite wild. He silently walked over to the sofa and sat down, ignoring her provocation. But even after closing his eyes, he kept feeling like her bare feet would appear before him, like a sword piercing his chest.
Jingliu looked at Derick, especially his strong yet youthful aura, which made her even more unhinged. Whether Derick outright refused or was truly enticed, Jingliu wouldn't do much more, at most just throwing him aside. But it was this shy resistance that gave her the feeling of an older sister teasing a young man. It was very interesting. She wouldn't even pay attention to ordinary people with such an aura, and people with Derick's strength would have long since outgrown their childishness. Only Derick was most suitable.
She moved closer to him, simply sitting on the sofa, pressing tightly against him. Derick shifted away, and Jingliu moved closer again. After several tis, Derick was forced to the edge of the sofa.
"Miss Jingliu? What exactly do you want?" he said, his tone helpless.
"Of course, to tease you, Little Brother Derick." Jingliu reached out to lift his chin, and also extended her legs to place them on his thighs, using his own strength to press him onto the sofa. "What? Are you not convinced? If you're not convinced, you can defeat , and then I'll naturally let you tease back."
Derick's current strength was still slightly inferior to Jingliu's; unless he shalessly resorted to perpetual stalling, he couldn't defeat her.
Jingliu's lips brushed Derick's ear as she lightly blew a breath. The icy coldness carried a fragrance, but ironically, it ignited the fla deep within him.
"Alright, I won't play around with you anymore." Jingliu would only go this far. She got off Derick and her bare feet walked toward the bed. "Rember, if we live together during this ti, I will playfully tornt you like this based on my mood. If you want to resist, rember to improve your strength well."
No Emanator-level individual was her match, and among non-Emanators, few could fight her. Derick, coincidentally, had this potential. Coupled with him also learning her swordsmanship, it further added to Jingliu's anticipation.
Derick said nothing, rely giving Jingliu the middle finger. Jingliu, uncaring, lay on the bed and fell soundly asleep. With her eyes closed, she looked so cold, noble, and beautiful, unlike the maddened, Mara-Struck temperant she had when her eyes were open.
Derick inwardly told himself that he definitely had to find a way to continue improving his strength. Not just his main body, but also his other clones. During this ti, the clones had been dormant for too long; it was ti to prepare to act.
Outside the beast ship's resting room, Cipher returned after reviewing the star maps. She had originally wanted to sneak off and find Derick, but just as she was about to knock, she was stopped by a Borisin maidservant guarding the corridor.
"Miss Cipher, Lord Derick and Miss Castorice are resting. You... had better not disturb them," the two-ter-tall, hairy Borisin maidservant said.
"Oh, I see. Then I'll leave now."
Cipher left with a normal expression, but as she turned her back to the Borisin maidservant, the expression on her face beca extrely intricate.
"What? Jingliu, what are you doing?" she thought. "I wanted to seize the opportunity to stir up so trouble while Derick was unoccupied. Yet you're still in there? What are you doing?"
Cipher didn't go so far as to think anything was happening between Jingliu and Derick; she had another idea in mind: Had Jingliu accepted a bribe from Castorice to monitor Derick?
"It seems the difficulty of seizing opportunities will increase significantly," Cipher muttered to herself.
Besides Cipher, another person was also pondering. It was Castorice's sister, Polyxia. Sitting in her wheelchair, her slender feet unconsciously tapped back and forth on the resting room carpet. She was sowhat worried about what might be happening between Jingliu and Derick in the next room.
"After all, Miss Jingliu has my sister's face. What if Derick can't control himself..." Polyxia's face flushed slightly, and her mind couldn't help but wander.
Polyxia didn't want anything to happen between Derick and Jingliu. However, deep down, she actually hoped Derick wasn't so devoted. If sothing happened with herself, that would be good. Between sister-in-law and brother-in-law...
She knew this feeling was sinful, but Polyxia simply couldn't restrain herself. Ever since Derick and Castorice appeared before her, the handso young man's image had been deeply etched into her mory. Later, when her body was being reshaped, Derick had also seen everything about her. At the ti, she was both embarrassed and annoyed, but afterward, she couldn't help but develop strange romantic feelings.
She thought that as her sister and Derick spent more ti together, she could gradually let go. However, she found that the stirrings deep within her heart grew stronger and stronger. Especially several tis fighting alongside Derick, which brought her more emotional touches.
If only sothing could happen. Castorice and Derick were together, and she didn't want to be separated from them either; she wanted to be together forever and ever.
Polyxia thought to herself. If Derick couldn't restrain himself halfway, would she, as his sister-in-law, be more suitable...?
Polyxia felt her face burning intensely and quickly patted her cheeks, stopping her wild thoughts.
