Chapter 15 Fuxi and Nüwa, The Mandate of Heaven Descends!

Just as Chu Yuan was sorting through his spoils—In another corner of the depression, a sudden change occurred!

A crisp crack was heard.

The [Innate Supre Yin Demon God Egg], jet-black and pitch-dark, which Chu Yuan had temporarily set aside, unexpectedly split open with no warning!

“Hm!”

Chu Yuan turned his head. He saw the crack rapidly expand. Soon, the black eggshell shattered completely. From within rolled out a delicate, jade-carved little figure—she looked to be only six or seven years old…

A young girl!

This girl had a human face but a serpent’s body. She wore a naturally ford, translucent green silk dress. Her skin was pale as snow, creating a striking contrast.

Her eyes, large and pure as obsidian gems, were filled with wonder, curiosity, and the innocent bewildernt of a newborn as she looked around this strange new world. Chu Yuan was slightly stunned.

So… the other “he” hatched sothing too?

Just as Chu Yuan was caught in surprise and uncertainty, the little girl in the black dress wobbled to her feet. Her curious gaze swept the cave. When her eyes finally landed on Chu Yuan—Especially when she sensed the faint but imnsely pure and radiant aura of the [Innate Pure Yang Divine Light] emanating from him—still lingering and not yet fully suppressed after his recent enlightennt—Her gem-like eyes suddenly lit up!

That aura!

That aura—completely opposite to her own Yin-based origin—yet sohow it felt like they shared the sa root… so familiar, so warm, so comforting… so deeply reassuring!

The little girl seed to instantly recognize sothing, and her face lit up with imnse joy and affection. She stumbled and wobbled as she ran toward Chu Yuan, threw her arms around his leg, and looked up with her tender, chubby face.

In a childish, crisp voice full of reliance and joy, she called out loudly in a milky tone.

“Big brother!”

Chu Yuan: “???”

He looked down at the little girl clinging tightly to his leg, rubbing her head against him with an expression that scread “I’ve found my family.”

Feeling the pure, cold, and imnsely powerful innate demonic divine aura radiating from her—completely opposite yet equally potent as the Pure Yang Gu Corpse—he was utterly petrified.

What… what even is this?

Big brother!

A newly born, innate demon god little “sister” just fell out of the sky like this?!

Wait a second!

A Gu Corpse with a dragon’s head and human body…

And a little girl with a human head and serpent’s body…

A flash of realization passed through Chu Yuan’s mind!

Along with the twin eggs of yin and yang…

Fuxi and Nüwa?

Indeed, most of the innate demon gods were remnants of chaos demon god corpses that fell into the world of the Great Desolation and evolved. They were born with laws embedded in them.

But later, when Hongjun attained the Dao and taught the thod of “severing the three corpses,” the innate demon gods cast aside their own laws of cultivation and single-mindedly imitated Hongjun, hoping one day to sever all three corpses and attain the Hunyuan realm.

Fuxi and Nüwa were born from parts of the remains of the yin-yang demon god who had been slain by Pangu in ancient tis. Split into two, each embodying yin and yang.

“The aura of Innate Pure Yang Divine Light?”

“Or perhaps…”

“Have I inherited Fuxi’s destiny?”

Chu Yuan turned his gaze toward the Pure Yang Gu Corpse, murmuring silently in his heart. But he said no more. In the end, in this prehistoric world, strength reigns supre!

Chu Yuan looked down at the little girl clinging to his leg with an expression full of admiration. Then he glanced at the Pure Yang Gu Corpse standing quietly to the side, its aura now firmly stabilized at the peak of the Grand Unity Golden Immortal realm. Though countless thoughts surged in his mind, they finally coalesced into a soft sigh.

“So be it. Since we’ve t here, and you share the sa origin as this ‘Fuxi’ Gu Corpse, you shall follow from now on.”

Chu Yuan bent down and gently stroked the girl’s smooth hair.

“From today onward, your na shall be Nüwa.”

Nüwa didn’t quite understand, but she could sense the acceptance and warmth in Chu Yuan’s voice. Her eyes, as dark and sparkling as black gems, curved into crescents as she replied sweetly, “Nüwa understands, big brother!”

Storing away the Pure Yang Gu Corpse, Chu Yuan no longer lingered in the hollow shaped by the Innate Yin-Yang Grand Array. The opportunity here had been exhausted. With the loss of the egg left behind by the Innate Yin-Yang Demon God, the foundation of the formation was destabilized—it would likely collapse on its own soon.

With his newly acknowledged “sister,” Nüwa, in tow, he departed the hidden place and continued his climb up Buzhou Mountain. The higher he climbed, the more terrifying the ever-present pressure of Pangu beca.

If he could barely endure it with his late-stage Golden Immortal cultivation earlier, now even that was not enough. It felt as though space itself had solidified. Every step upward demanded an enormous expenditure of mana and willpower to resist the majestic force emanating from the very backbone of heaven and earth.
