Chapter 2: Being The First To Speak of the Great Calamity!

It wasn’t because Chu Xuan had seized the initiative.

It was instead because…

How could such a low-ranking shaman know about their intention to establish the Wu race?

They had only just made the decision!

The Ancestors of the Wu race stared gravely at Chu Xuan, their gazes capable of piercing through all mysteries. Their towering bodies, each several ters tall, stood like pillars reaching the heavens, and their questioning gazes shone like the sun.

Facing this overwhelming pressure, Chu Xuan, a re shaman only few ters tall, felt as though he was being crushed.

Even the normally gentle and kind Hou Tu couldn’t help but scrutinize Chu Xuan. She took a few steps forward, and her two enormous, jade-white pillars of legs were faintly visible within the surrounding light of the Dao.

Though the rules obscured them, Chu Xuan, standing so close, still involuntarily imagined too much.

His vision blurred.

This impact was too intense!

Chu Xuan’s heart skipped a beat.

The words he had prepared to say completely escaped his mind.

Subconsciously, he wanted to look up.

The thighs of the Ancestral Witch were right there, and her skirt was…

Just as he thought about this, he blushed and quickly lowered his head, forcefully ridding himself of any distracting thoughts.

He almost forgot that this was the Primordial Realm! Was he not afraid of being wiped out?

However, Chu Xuan’s actions didn’t escape the Ancestors of the Wu race.

Their previous suspicion montarily faded as they watched in surprise. Hou Tu’s face slightly flushed as she suddenly shrank down to Chu Xuan’s height, feigning anger.

“You brat, if you don’t have a good explanation, don’t bla for punishing you for misusing the ergency communication tool!”

The other Ancestors chuckled, their massive forms also shrinking to match Chu Xuan’s height, teasingly saying:

“Little sister, the little shaman in your tribe has a more complex mind!”

“In my tribe, the shamans only think of fighting all day, and they lack such thoughts! It’s troubling!”

“If our Wu race doesn’t reproduce, how will we command the Primordial Realm?”

“But as a mber of the Wu race, we should be bold and open, no need to hide!”

“Unfortunately, your power is too weak, little shaman. How could you be worthy of an Ancestral Shaman?”

“Beauty belongs only to the strong!”

Zhu Rong, with flas coiling around his ears, laughed heartily.

They didn’t take offense at Chu Xuan’s actions—after all, the Wu race believed in being straightforward and direct, without worrying about trivial matters.

Moreover, they had a saying that held true: all mbers of the Wu race were ford from the blood of the Father God, Pangu. The only difference was that the Ancestors of the Wu race were born of Pangu’s Qi and Blood. They were all brothers and sisters, without any strict hierarchy.

The other Wu race rely worshiped strength and naturally revered the Ancestral of the Wu race.

In fact, Chu Xuan’s daring to gaze upon an ancestor didn’t offend them; it even made so of them admire him.

So even thought he wasn’t bold enough.

Seeing their reactions, Chu Xuan was montarily stunned before suddenly realizing sothing.

“Right, I’m not a human or a demon! I’m a shaman! The Wu race is a bunch of rough warriors who worship strength! Even if so have brains, most of them are still brash and straightforward! In that case, I can afford to be even more aggressive!”

Chu Xuan looked at the Ancestors’ approving gazes. Even Hou Tu, though her cheeks were red, was only chiding the others’ teasing. Chu Xuan directly skipped over the topic of Hou Tu and spoke:

“Esteed Ancestors! Beauty is desirable, but our Wu race’s urgent matters take precedence, and I dare not delay any longer! Please allow to report! We absolutely cannot establish the Wu race! If we establish the Wu race, we will fall into the trap of the Heavenly Dao, beco pawns in the Great Calamity, and eventually face annihilation!”

This ti, Chu Xuan bluntly declared the Heavenly Dao’s trap, the Great Calamity, and acted as if the Wu race was dood if they didn’t heed his warning. It was all part of his plan to shock rather than awe them. After all, many strategists throughout history had done the sa. They would strike first to gain the upper hand so their plans would be easier to implent!

As expected, when Chu Xuan spoke again, even ntioning the Heavenly Dao and the Great Calamity, the many Ancestors finally furrowed their brows and looked at him.

Though they admired the little shaman’s boldness, if his words turned out to be re nonsense, it would only lead to their disdain.

Once again, the question surfaced in their minds: how could a low-ranking shaman dare speak of the Heavenly Dao and the Great Calamity?

In the current Primordial Realm, Golden Immortals were everywhere, if not as common as dogs, and if not for their curiosity about how this little shaman knew about their plan to establish the Wu race, they would have already expelled him.

But just then, it was Hou Tu who first stepped forward and defended her tribesman.

“Silence! You, a re little shaman, dare to speak of such important matters?” She spoke sternly, though with a hint of frustration. “It seems I’ve been too kind to you!”

Though she scolded him, as she was speaking to one of her own, there was still a trace of leniency in her tone. After all, Hou Tu had always been soft-hearted.

However, Chu Xuan didn’t show excessive reverence this ti but spoke plainly.

“I know the esteed Ancestors are troubled by the Yao race’s establishnt of the Heavenly Court. The Yao race, with the approval of the Heavenly Dao, has created the Heavenly Court, gathering all races and flourishing in fortune!”

“Though they might not yet surpass our Wu race, the Primordial Realm was vast, and the number of races was imnse. Our Wu race was only a handful. A single Da Luo Golden Immortal, no matter how strong, could not stand against ten Da Luo Golden Immortals.”

“Back in the day, the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin races claid dominion over scales, feathers, and beasts, and only then did they wield such power! As the Yao race prospers, if we wish to oppose them, we must be open and challenge them head-on, drawing the attention and fear of all races, and cutting off their rise to power! I believe, esteed Ancestors, that even if you didn’t want the Heavenly Dao’s recognition, you would inevitably have to enter the fray.” “The simplest and most legitimate way was to establish the Wu race!”

“But have you thought that by doing so, wouldn’t we be repeating the sa rivalry as the three ancient races? And where were those three races now?”

Chu Xuan finished his prepared speech in one breath, leaving the previously frowning Ancestors montarily stunned.

Once again, it must be said—the Ancestors were not stupid, rely disinclined to overthink matters.

Their pride was justified. They were the true lineage of Pangu, born with imnse power. Though they lacked primordial spirits, they wielded Pangu’s heart, continuously creating new Wu mbers, making them one of the strongest races.

Because of this, they quickly grasped Chu Xuan’s aning.

He was suggesting that today’s situation mirrored the rivalry of the ancient Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin races.

“The Great Calamity!” Di Jiang was the first to speak.
