Chapter 2

Ti passed like this for a while, and I had gradually grown accustod to living in Yao Liang's spacious apartnt.

One evening after dinner, I was alone in the apartnt, doing my howork, when suddenly a series of urgent knocks sounded on the door.

Yao Liang had a key, and in all these days, besides the cleaning lady, no one had ever co over. Who could be knocking at the door looking for soone? I quickly hurried to the door and opened it.

Standing at the doorway was a tall, beautiful young woman. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders, her features were exceptionally sweet, her skin fair, with large eyes and long eyelashes, and a small, delicate mouth. She wore a tight light yellow T-shirt and skinny jeans. Her dark hair flowed down from her shoulders, and though her full, ample breasts were tightly wrapped in the T-shirt, they looked as if they were about to burst out, appearing firm and full of elasticity.

Her full hips and two long, shapely legs were encased in the thin, lightweight denim of her skinny jeans. Her thighs were full and firm, her calves well-proportioned. On her feet were a pair of coffee colored, high top boots that reached just below her knees, hugging her rounded calves. The boots had about a 5 centiter heel, accentuating her long, straight, and shapely legs. Her curvaceous and tall figure was displayed to its youthful and vibrant best in the tight fitting clothes.

"You are..." This beauty looked sowhat familiar, but I couldn't for the life of recall where I had seen her.

"Zhou Bin?" The beauty looked at for a mont, then imdiately realized. "Long ti no see! Why are you living at my brother's place? Where is he?"

Only then did I rember. The beautiful woman before , who bore a slight resemblance to the handso Yao Liang, was nad Yao Wei, Yao Liang's older sister who was in university. I had often seen her when we were kids visiting each other's hos, but I hadn't seen her much in recent years, so I didn't recognize her at first.

"Sister Wei! Ah Liang is out. He didn't co today," I said, feeling a bit awkward as I looked at her. The beauty before was quite different from the "big sister" figure I rembered from childhood.

"Really? I don't believe it!" Yao Wei glared at , her expression full of accusatory suspicion. A sweet, feminine scent wafted over as she brushed past and walked straight into the apartnt.

"Yao Liang! Where the hell have you died off to! Are you hiding in there! Get out here, now!"

She angrily searched the apartnt room by room. She seed very familiar with the place, so it was clearly not her first ti here.

"Sister Wei, he's really not here. He only cos over occasionally. Doesn't he live with you guys?" I said, following her. My eyes, however, couldn't help but drift to her swaying figure as she walked. She had a slightly plump figure, but because she was tall, it appeared full and healthy. The hem of her cropped T-shirt occasionally revealed a glimpse of her fair, tender waist. The round, perky buttocks and full, firm thighs strained in her tight jeans and her long legs clad in the coffee-colored boots, made a rapid "tap-tap-tap" sound as she walked.

I rembered that as a child, she was a mischievous "big sister" type. Now she had blossod into such a beautiful and sexy woman. It's true what they say a girl changes a lot as she grows up, I thought to myself.

"Hmph!"

After searching all the rooms and confirming no one else was hiding there, she turned and walked back to my side. Her beautiful face was flushed with anger, and her fair, jade-like hands rested on her hips as she said to , "He's never ho these days. Where the hell is he fooling around? Tell , quick!"

I spread my hands, protesting my innocence, "How would I know? He sotis stays here, but only two or three days a week. The rest of the ti, he tells he's going back to his own ho. We usually just play gas or study together. We don't do anything else!"

She looked at with suspicion, sizing up before saying, "Fine. You're not a liar. I'll believe you for now. If he cos back, you have to tell imdiately."

Having known each other since we were kids, Sister Wei knew I was a relatively honest person and trusted my character.

"Okay, okay. Let's add each other on WeChat, and I can report his whereabouts to you." I said with a smile.

"Alright."

She then took out her phone and we added each other. As she leaned closer, I caught a faint glimpse of the fair, tender flesh of her cleavage and the edge of a white lace bra beneath the collar of her T-shirt. I could also see the alluring valley between her full breasts.

A sweet, youthful fragrance mixed with a faint, girlish scent of sweat from her exercise wafted over, making my heart flutter.

"So why are you living here and not at your own place?" After putting her phone away, Yao Wei asked, her bright, large eyes blinking as she looked at .

"It's a long story," I said with a wry smile, my voice full of helplessness.

"Pfft," she let out a charming laugh. "You make it sound like you've been through so great ordeal. You've had another fight with your family and run away from ho, haven't you?"

"Sothing like that. What about you, Sister Wei? What year are you in? Don't you live in the dorms? You have ti to keep an eye on Ah Liang?" I asked.

Yao Wei elegantly brushed a few stray strands of hair from beside her ear to the back, revealing her fair, pink neck. The casual gesture was incredibly alluring. "I'm a sophomore. My university is in the suburbs. I usually drive ho to live. Dad is really worried about him, but he's busy himself, so he asked to keep an eye on him and teach him a lesson."

"Oh."

"Alright, I'm leaving. If he cos, you tell . Just wait until I get my hands on him! He even dares to block his own sister's calls!"

Yao Wei said again, her cheeks puffed up in anger. She was already sweet-looking, and her angry expression was also quite adorable.

"Okay, no problem. Even if it ans betraying my brother, I'd go through fire and water for you, Sister Wei. Oh, wait, I an, I'd take a bullet for you." I joked with a smile.

"Smart mouth." Yao Wei chuckled, her beautiful eyes shooting a playful, annoyed glance as she walked to the entrance.

"Oh, right." She turned back to . "We should hang out soti. You look so listless. We young people should get together, relax, and have so fun. It would be great."

"We'll see," I replied casually. I wasn't really a social person, and the thought of going to parties or KTV made feel awkward.

"You brat! What kind of attitude is that! Are you trying to brush your Sister Wei off?"

Yao Wei turned back, looking annoyed again. Her eyes were very beautiful, especially when she was angry, they seed to sparkle, and I couldn't help but stare a mont longer at her charming, lovely expression.

"Alright, alright, I didn't say I wouldn't go. Finals are coming up soon. I'll go after they're over, okay, Sister Wei!" I had to raise my hands in surrender again.

"Giggle, giggle. You haven't changed a bit. Still knowing how to say the right things. It's a deal then. Bye!" Yao Wei smiled sweetly, waved at , and quickly walked out the door, closing it behind her.

I watched her leave, her jeans-clad buttocks swaying and jiggling. They were round, full, and perky. I couldn't help but marvel that she was a tall, fit, and incredibly sexy stunner. I even felt a bit of regret for not taking the opportunity of being alone with her to chat a bit more.

Was I trying to hit on her? That would an having thoughts about my friend's older sister. And this friend has been so good to . Damn, I'm such a scumbag, I couldn't help but curse myself inwardly.

Suddenly, my phone rang. I picked it up and saw that it was my dad calling!

It had been over half a year since I ran away from ho. During this ti, my dad hadn't contacted once. It showed how much that bastard didn't care about . Logically, there was nothing left for us to say, but since he was calling, I figured I might as well hear what he had to say. So I answered the phone.

"Hey, Xiao Bin," ca my dad's hoarse voice from the other end. He sounded like he wasn't sober yet, and the sound of it instantly disgusted .

"What is it?" I said calmly.

"Heh heh, where have you been living? Seems like you're doing pretty well."

"Where I live is none of your business. What do you want? If there's nothing, I'm hanging up." I had no desire to speak to him.

"Of course there's sothing." The voice on the other end was also calm, not angered by my rudeness. I didn't want to engage, so I waited for him to speak. Seeing my silence, he continued:

"Xiao Bin, this is about sothing very important to our Zhou family. If you really hate your dad, I'm entrusting this matter to you, and then I'll prepare to leave here and live in Southeast Asia." My dad said calmly.

Sothing important to our Zhou family? I was puzzled. My dad had never discussed family matters with , not since I was a child. What could he possibly have to say to ?

Seeing that I was silent, my dad continued, "Whether you believe or not, I'm not joking this ti, son. If you're willing, this will be the last ti we see each other."

"Understood," I said.

"Good. 7 PM. Co to our old place." With that, my dad hung up the phone.

My emotions were in turmoil. Since my mom had left, my bastard dad had rarely spoken to in such a calm tone. Although I still didn't quite trust him, I figured it wouldn't hurt to go and hear what he had to say.

I gave Yao Liang a call, telling him I had to go out and would be back later. Then I went downstairs, rented a bicycle, and quickly rode back to my old ho. The old, worn-out sign at the alley entrance read "No. 15, Xiao Jia Lane, Daocheng Road." At the end of the narrow, deep alley stood a six-story old building. Our old apartnt was on the fourth floor.

I parked my bike at the alley entrance and walked in. It was nearing sumr, and a warm breeze blew by, gently rustling my hair. The wind carried a sense of ease, as if it had lightened my mood as well.

As I entered the old building and reached the third floor, I faintly heard the sound of arguing coming from upstairs. I quickened my pace and found the apartnt door wide open. I hurried over.

The inside of the apartnt was just as ssy as it was when I left. My dad was standing off to one side, still wearing that tattered shirt, his face haggard. For so reason, seeing him like this, I actually felt a pang of sorrow.

At the round table in the middle of the room sat a fat man with a chubby face. He had a shaved head and was wearing a black tight-fitting shirt. On his fat, muscular shoulder was a tattoo of a black dragon. He looked every bit like a gangster.

Next to him stood a tall, skinny man with a sallow complexion and a sharp, pointed face that gave him a weasel like appearance. He looked like a bad guy at first glance.

As soon as I ca in, I felt the atmosphere was ominous. I heard the fat man at the table speaking arrogantly, "Zhou Wen! You're not a big boss anymore, so stop putting on that serious act with ! In this world, whoever has the most money calls the shots! You **** owe so much money, and you're hiding a villa, refusing to hand it over, huh!"

As he spoke, the fleshy parts of his face twitched. He glanced sideways at my dad, who was standing nearby.
