"Are they sure?" After a brief period of silence, the guards received a response from the higher ups. The response left him surprised, as this seed to be the first ti that the Empire had willingly bent rules for soone.
Then again, all of them understood why that was. The Angels had many descendants. Even the other Ancient Lords had quite a few Descendants. If one of them was to die, they would clearly be upset but not to the sa extent if their only descendant was killed.
The Ti Lord was known to have no family in the past, so this was sothing that the Empire didn’t have to worry about. But now it turned out that he had a son. And his only son was here after getting an invitation.
If they led a conflict and that boy was hurt, then all hell could break loose. The chances of negotiations in the future could also fall to zero. The Empire didn’t want to go that far, all to maintain a single rule.
"You can pass." The guard told Karyk, before signalling for the blockade to be opened. Once finished, he stepped back and returned to his position.
"How patient of them..." Karyk was also sowhat disappointed, but not to a large extent. He stepped back, and the door of the Alpha Class ship also closed and it moved forward, traveling through the inner part of the galaxy.
The Guards were already in position to welco the descendant of the Ti Lord but their numbers were unusually large, especially since they hadn’t checked the people inside Karyk’s battleship.
They were prepared for anything, albeit slightly nervous as they waited.
The Two Ministers tried to guide the Drike Family and the Angels inside the city, but both sides refused to enter. They stayed behind, waiting to see just who could warrant such a sharp response.
Was an Ancient Lord personally coming? That was the Question in the Drike Patriarch’s mind as he waited.
Within ten minutes, the sky turned dark again, as another Alpha Class Battleship started descending from the sky, hiding the sun for the people beneath.
The ship landed, marking the arrival of the Fourth Alpha Class Battleship when only ten were in existence.
"It is..." The family symbol on the battleship left both Drike Family and Angels surprised.
The Angels were close to the Ti Lord, but even they hadn’t t Chronos yet. They had only heard about the boy in recent days, his fa rising faster than anyone could have expected, mainly because of the family he ca from.
Once the battleship landed, Guards of the Empire approached the entrance and stood in a row, forming sothing akin to a wall. Before the Hounds of the Empire, there were two ministers as well, here to escort the boy that even the Emperor was paying attention to.
"Well, that’s a welco..." The Angelic Prince watched the kind of reception that Chronos had received before even landing, which made him find his own reception a little lacking.
Still, he wasn’t upset with Chronos. Instead, there was a smile on his lips as he approached the battleship of Ti Lord.
"Where are you going?" The Minister responsible for escorting him asked, chasing after him.
"The Ancient Lords are in an alliance. My father is a friend of his father, so it’s only fair that I et him. Isn’t that right?" The Prince approached the other battleship while the gate started opening.
He stopped next to the ministers present to welco Chronos and wondered just what kind of person Chronos was going to be. Was he going to be an arrogant person who only relied on the family’s strength? Or was he soone who could create his own era?
Both of them were sons of the Ancient Lords and leaders of the future generations, so he really wanted to see more about Chronos.
If that man was dangerous, then an early friendship wasn’t bad. But if that man was weak, then he could find a way to suppress and control him in the future. In both cases, it was a situation beneficial to him.
Once the gate completely slid down, a person ca into sight. A young man that could only be described as the epito of good looks.
Even though the Angels didn’t follow the conventional looks of humans, but even they were quite surprised at how good the young man looked. The Prince, however, focused on sothing else. It was the aura of the young man.
Even though he had just seen that person, he felt quite a suppressive feeling when Chronos looked in his direction. It was as if the gaze was of a person that had walked through a sea of blood to get to this place.
Looking at that person, he was able to confirm one thing only. That man... was not sothing that he could control. He wasn’t soone that was naive about the ways of the world.
The man was accompanied by the powerful guards of the Ti Lord that rarely left their galaxy since the Ti Lord himself never needed protection.
But even though these people rarely left their worlds, the na of the Ti Guard Corps was famous throughout the myriad of worlds.
The Corpse was made of orphans that were selected by the Ti Lord in his younger years. They didn’t have the bloodline of the ti lord, but they did receive a single blood drop of the ti lord that had managed to grant them talent beyond belief.
No one knew why the Ti Lord even created an army like this when the army was never going to be strong enough to protect a mighty existence like him. But after hearing that the Ti Lord did have a son, they all received their answers.
The Ti Guards were created for one purpose alone. It was to protect Chronos when he returned to the family from the Battlefield.
"Greetings, Young Lord Chronos. Welco to the Empire!" The minister stepped out and reached out his hand to welco the special guest.
