Chapter 63: 063 Fighting Certificate

The White Bird Training Base was not too far from the Martial Arts Association.

Several blue buses chartered by the White Bird Martial Arts Hall ford a convoy and made their way to Huai Shui City’s Pujiang District at a moderate pace.

The White Bird Martial Arts Hall, where Bai Xiao had once stayed, was located in Pujiang District.

Pujiang District, Lingshui Road, No. 152.

The convoy drove along the main road, gradually reducing speed.

Bai Xiao sat by the window, watching the lush trees passing by and the faint aroma of sumr flowers wafting through the air. A few dozen ters away, a white railing and boundary wall ca into view, with the dense crowns of ornantal trees peeking over the wall and shedding leaves upon it.

...

A majestic gate faced this street.

“Martial Arts Association.”

The artful, sharp characters, paired with a golden plaque, shimred slightly in the sunlight. The black iron gate was already open, revealing a straight path.

At the entrance, two staff mbers were waving their hands in a guiding gesture.

The convoy drove straight in and arrived at a spacious square.

Nurous elite class students disembarked from the buses and assembled in the square under the leadership of their instructors, grouped by their respective classes. Bai Xiao wanted to stand at the back of the line, but to his dismay, Liu Yang pulled him to the front.

He looked around and imdiately noticed that the other elite classes did the sa, positioning each class’s number one in combat at the front. Bai Xiao’s gaze swept across, eting many eyes. So were sizing him up, so brimd with eagerness to fight, and so were itching to try, all top combat-ranked students from the other elite classes, their spirit abundantly strong.

The square was filled not only with six classes but also six classes from other cities, a gathering of talents all there to test at the Martial Arts Association.

His gaze lingered on a few individuals for a while.

One was a towering young man with unusually broad shoulders and long arms, resembling a double-door refrigerator. His features were handso, with rough lineants on his cheeks, giving him an ancient general’s majestic aura.

Another had bright, deep-set features, handso face, black short hair naturally curling at the forehead, roughly the sa height as Bai Xiao, with exceptionally thick and powerful arms barely contained by the sleeves of his black training suit.

The last one looked very much like Chu Ming, probably Chu Du himself.

The Chu brothers seed to be highly gifted.

Bai Xiao withdrew his gaze and calmly looked ahead.

Yet, as he observed others, people were also scrutinizing him. The three n that Bai Xiao had noticed also stared back at him intently. Bai Xiao might not have known, but his na had been heard by many in the two White Bird Training Bases. He was the first student to master the beginners’ breathing thod and “Boxing Manual Visualization”. Notably, half of the elite class students still hadn’t grasped the breathing thod, a significant disparity indeed.

To be a step ahead was to be a genius.

To be several steps ahead was to be a freak.

Those who stand out from the crowd are always subjected to more scrutiny.

After waiting briefly in the square, soone from the Martial Arts Association announced that preparations were not entirely complete and suggested everyone take a break.

Consequently, the instructors relaxed their guard.

The many elite class mbers were free to move around the square.

Bai Xiao remained in his spot.

He silently practiced his breathing thod, seizing the downti to earn so experience points for the Fighter profession. Since mastering the Fierce Bird Fighting Skill, Bai Xiao had realized that practicing it could significantly boost experience for the Fighter profession. Thus, he did not want to miss any chance to train a bit more whenever possible.

In the square, Chu Ming had already left his class lineup and joined his brother Chu Du, discussing sothing. The other two youths Bai Xiao had observed earlier also gathered to chat for a bit. Then, the youth with the rugged features like a double-door refrigerator walked over and stood in front of Bai Xiao.

“Bai Xiao?”

Bai Xiao turned his head to look at the youth and asked, “Who are you?”

The youth smiled a bit, “Wang Sheng, nice to et you.”

He extended his large, powerful hands, calloused at the edges.

Bai Xiao, seeing this, reached out his hand, and the two of them shook hands.

Unexpectedly, Wang Sheng suddenly looked deeply at Bai Xiao, then started to exert pressure, slowly squeezing Bai Xiao’s fingers inches closer together.

Was this so sort of test?

Bai Xiao watched Wang Sheng expressionlessly. He had just reached the Tough Skin Realm through a dicinal bath, which significantly weakened and buffered Wang Sheng’s strength.

The so-called probing was neither painful nor itchy, weak and listless.

“Why not try my…”

Bai Xiao slightly smiled, his five fingers ford into claws, and suddenly he clamped down on Wang Sheng’s right hand. Then he forcefully exerted pressure, his muscular fingers cracking loudly as if they were iron pincers rcilessly gripping the flesh in his palm. At this mont, his punching power had reached the level of Boxing King, and his grip strength was equally monstrous and ferocious.

Wang Sheng’s expression perfectly reflected this fact.

He began with a smile in his eyes, then feigned an expressionless face, followed by trembling eyelids, and finally his face showed difficulty, with deeply furrowed brows. Just as Wang Sheng was about to grit his teeth and sweat, the arrival of a Martial Arts Association staff mber gave him a way out. Many instructors announced the gathering, and only then did the two release their hands.

Bai Xiao still stood expressionlessly in the sa spot.

Wang Sheng’s little finger on his right hand was sowhat trembling as he walked back.

Along the way, he exchanged a few words with a young man with a curly fringe.

What they were discussing was unknown.

At half past one, all mbers of the elite class finally entered the Martial Arts Association hall. To the left of the hall, there was a connection to a large gymnasium.

The gymnasium was divided into different testing areas, with professionals skilled in various aspects waiting to record your data. In terms of real combat, there were also powerful sparring partners ready to enter the field at any mont.

Five minutes passed, and everyone had received their own number.

Bai Xiao was number 57, not too early, nor too late.

Of course, the number wasn’t the order of the queue, but just a convenience for recording. The gymnasium had multiple different tests, allowing reasonable ti allocation to see which test had fewer people so one could find a gap and join in.

At 13:40, the Federation Nine-Division test officially began.

Many students headed towards the large gymnasium next door.

Bai Xiao also followed the crowd and walked over.

He had just undergone a dicinal bath with Five Birds Potion, receiving a four-dinsional attribute boost. It was the perfect ti to check his punch data.

On the way there, Bai Xiao arrived at a square area.

In front of the partition, there stood a tall, professional boxing power tester.

All in black, the bottom was the hitting area, and the top was the display screen.

There were already people queuing before him, so he waited a bit.

“Number 7, 110.2kg!”

“Number 102, 99.1kg!”

“Number 42, 150.6kg!”

“Now, number 57, Bai Xiao.”

Bai Xiao strode forward, just as number 42, looking satisfied, was walking down. A punching power of 150kg was considered top-tier in the elite class and was certainly sothing to be proud of. The two did not interact, as number 42 passed him by.

Bai Xiao stood on the yellow line, and after hearing the examiner say begin,

he took a deep breath, changed his footing left and right to warm up.

Then he suddenly burst forth like an arrow, his fist creating a black afterimage as it ferociously sped through the air, accompanied by a faint hissing sound!

Boom!

His fist, wearing a boxing glove, harshly landed on the testing area.

The boxing power tester slightly shook, the data rapidly soaring.

Beep, beep, beep, it instantly broke three hundred.

The examiner glanced at the data on the display, then turned his head in surprise to look at Bai Xiao, took a deep breath, and finally announced.

“Number 57, 322.2kg!”
