Chapter 533: 267 attribute improvent, two villains cooperate!_2 Chapter 533: 267 attribute improvent, two villains cooperate!_2 Bai Xiao glanced at the hypnotic props that had beco nothing more than a few pieces of broken wood and muttered to himself, “The hypnotic props of the Special Grade Hypnotists from the Eternal Sleep Sect actually contained elents that could be absorbed by the Demon Bird Secret Book?”

“If I had enough hypnotic props, I could definitely quickly raise my Will Attribute. It’s not impossible to chase after and even catch up with Strength and Physique Attributes at a breakneck pace. It seems that during this visit to the Eternal Sleep Sect, I have my own business to attend to…” He looked up, gazing distantly around the resort.

On the left, a small square.

A tall figure in a black trench coat stood silently, wearing a cyan-black mask. In front of him, a figure in a black robe heavily fell to the ground, headless with blood splattering as if decapitated by sothing.

“Thud! Thud! Thud!”

Heavy and massive footsteps echoed across the square, as if so invisible yet colossal entity was striding forth, but invisible to the onlookers. A second later, a head floated in front of the trench coat figure.

It slowly descended as if cradled by an invisible giant hand.

Ghost Face gazed solemnly at the Special Grade Hypnotist Xiao Bei.

Those horrified pupils still bore the imnse fear from just before death.

“Mother of Masks, you’re quite generous.”

“A purple-level mask has reached the second grade, and its separation cos at no small cost. Not to ntion the standardized white masks we saw along the way. Although these Netherworld Masks are watered-down versions and don’t even reach the first grade, there are too many, a hundred pairs at least. Mother of Masks must pay a considerable price…”

Ghost Face removed the purple mask from the head and muttered to himself.

“It seems that the Eternal Sleep Sect must have made so promise to Mother of Masks, or offered so astonishing benefits to secure such a costly collaboration.”

He fell silent for a mont, then directly placed the purple mask upon his face.

“Buzz!”

The two masks instantly fused into one. The cyan-black mask rippled like water waves, spreading a sinister and terrifying aura, with mysterious psychic fluctuations growing ever more profound. Yet, the enhancent brought no fundantal change.

Ghost Face pressed his hand against the mask.

“The Netherworld Mask has been strengthened to a certain limit; absorbing other masks can no longer break through the upper limit. However, this is also a sort of foundation. Once I can break through the limit, the accumulated power will burst forth, allowing it to advance a few more steps…” His eyes shimred with a slight excitent.

I didn’t expect to encounter such good fortune this ti.

“It’s a pity that those mass-produced diluted white masks are useless to . Only purple or higher quality masks can enhance the foundation of this Netherworld Mask…” Ghost Face lifted his face, surveying the entire scene.

“Perhaps, this resort can still bring so surprises…”

He strode forward, blending into the darkness. Behind him, the heavy and invisible footsteps followed from afar as if so gigantic creature had passed by.

“Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!”

In the south, this was where the battle was most fierce.

Horrifyingly large Biological Armors and figures clad in white capes were tangled in a lee. Blood exploded and gunfire poured down.

Seen from above, it looked like a swarm of white ants, frantically sweeping and surrounding all enemies. They extended their right hands, their dazzling hand seals swirling with strange hypnotic patterns, and the sounds of obscure and unfathomable curses and spells arose, dragging nurous Biological cha Masters into a deathly hypnosis.

Every now and then, bodies burst open, blood spraying as they heavily fell to the ground.

In the center of the battlefield, a total of six figures were entangled in high-speed combat. Among them, three were various Wing-level Armors from different giant biological companies. The other three were uniformly cloaked in black robes.

They were clearly the Special Grade Death Sleep Masters of the Eternal Sleep Sect.

Even individually, they were incredibly powerful; now united, they complented each other’s shortcomings. There was a sense of mutual enhancent and increased power.

On the left, a Special Grade Death Sleep Master blew a horn towards the sky. Visible rippling sound waves wildly swept across. Close to the center of the battlefield, two Biological Armors were sprinting and killing when suddenly struck by the sound waves. They fell headlong to the ground.

Bleeding from every orifice, they died with eyes wide open.

In the middle, a figure in a black robe took a fierce step forward. Suddenly, centered around his body, a deep blue wave appeared, stacking repeatedly, growing higher and broader, before finally slamming down like a tsunami, as if drowning everyone in its depths.

Around the air, a horrifying pressure sealed down everything.

So Biological chas exploded on the spot, like soda cans crushed and burst.

On the right, a plastic-like yellow flower showcased its power again, causing the surrounding air to trail with sweet-slling yellow trajectories. Where the Special Grade Death Sleep Master stood, a swarm of drone-like Flower Elves appeared.

They collided everywhere, with pollen exploding and imnse power.

The three squad leaders from the scouting teams were ultimately fighting on their own, soon covered in wounds. Terrifying cracks appeared on their Biological Armor shells.

“Woo!!!”

The sonorous sound of a distant steamship’s horn blared once more.

“Thud!”

A team captain fell heavily, his azure cha, devoid of life.

“Captain!”

From a distance, mbers of his squad cried out in desperation, unable to believe what had happened.

Their captain, who possessed dual Wing-level Biological Armors, a rising star within the corporation and a resonating genius of formidable armors was expected to one day command General Armors. And yet, he fell prematurely here. The mission of the Eternal Sleep Sect was much more difficult and perilous than they had anticipated, and the previous estimates of the corporations were way off.

“Bang!”

“Bang!”

Following two more explosions, all the captains had fallen.

Looking around, only a few were left struggling at death’s door, no longer a threat.

In the center of the battlefield, beside two Biological Armor corpses, three cloaked figures gathered together and exchanged glances. The tall and thin figure spoke.

“The bishop has instructed us to et up and not to separate rashly.”

“After he performs the Divine Arts, he will join us with the utmost Speed.”

Next to him, a shorter figure spoke.

“We’ve lost contact with Qiu Xing and Xiao Bei; I don’t understand what has gone wrong. The enemies didn’t seem that strong this ti; how could there be a mistake? Should we check on them together? The three of us…”

Before he could finish, his gaze suddenly shot towards a dimly lit street to the east.

Next to him, the other two cloaked figures turned their piercing gazes in the sa direction.

“Swoosh!”

Unnoticed until now, a person stood within the cluster of dim shadows.

Clad in a black overcoat, with long hair cascading down, the tall figure had a pair of black leather gloves hanging loosely, and a terrifying Ghost Face mask adorned his face.

His gaze was obscure, like an endless vortex.

“Tap, tap, tap…”

Suddenly, from the west, a series of dull and forceful footsteps drew closer.

The owner of the footsteps made no effort to hide, walking slowly out of the shadows and into the hazy moonlight. The towering figure stood upright, its solid and icy countenance was daunting. Thickly muscled arms hung by his side, vibrating the air around him.

All three of them hardened their gaze, a strong sense of crisis looming over them.

Before them, the tall figure seed to completely ignore their presence, his gaze drifting far off towards the man in the black overcoat, his voice deep and steady.

“I didn’t expect to encounter you here…”

On the other side, the man in the black overcoat’s eyes twinkled as he replied with a faint smile.

“Heh, I also didn’t expect to run into you here.”

His gaze shifted, sweeping across the battlefield before he suddenly asked again.

“What is your purpose?”

“The hypnotic props in their hands.”

Bai Xiao responded emotionlessly and then imdiately counter-questioned Ghost Mask.

“And you?”

“The masks on their faces.”

Ghost Mask lifted his head, his gaze colliding with Bai Xiao’s from a distance. Then, both turned their heads, casting their ominous and fearso gazes upon the three black-robed figures in the center. In an instant, the three Death Sleep Masters felt chilled to the bone, gripped by the terror of being targeted by apex predators.

The tall, slender cloaked figure among them breathed heavily, muttering to himself.

“Those two, are they together!?”

“That’s to say, Qiu Xing and Xiao Bei, they were killed by them…”
