Disha, Kate and Nicole saw him comforting Candice. Nicole didn’t know what happened in few minutes that she was gone but she could tell that the young woman in his arms was thoroughly distraught and needed support. Even her young master seed helpless in this situation.
Suddenly Kate walked up to them while Disha followed, she might have figured out sothing but she wanted to confirm her suspicions. She asked," It was him wasn’t it?"
Samuel could only gave her a weak smile and small nod, he knew Kate was already aware of Candice’s situation after all they were work friends. Kate was one of the few that tried to reason with her but Candice refused to accept the truth eventually leaving the hotel after saying so harsh things to her.
There was small part of her that felt relieved but most of her heart went out for Candice. Kate had never been in any serious relationship but she had seen so of her friends back ho suffer from heartbreaks. No matter how much she wanted to say, ’I told you so’. She couldn’t bear to say it.
Disha who only knew bits and pieces put her hands on Kate’s shoulder nudging her to do the right thing. Seeing Kate approach, Samuel let her go pushing her in Kate’s embrace. Candice didn’t even know about them but seeing Kate’s sad expression, she felt herself crying again. She never wanted anyone’s pity which was why it was hard for her but Kate took the first step and hugged her friend.
What followed was another round of crying, even Nicole and Disha joined and consoled her leaving Samuel to his own devices. He knew it was best to leave it to them as he found it awkward to get close to such a vulnerable young girl, it also didn’t help that she was beautiful.
Thinking about it, he also rembered that ti when Adele beca distant when his sudden engagent to Iblis was announced. There were many similar events and he still had one more to resolve the deal with Liliana’s sister Isabella. He felt like he needed to hurry and go to the states as soon as possible. Maybe they were feeling the sa thing or was he being too hopeful?
Regardless, he didn’t want to let them suffer for long.
That was when he spotted other people coming in his view, they seed to be out on a walk in the garden. He knew these girls and could see that they looked sad too. They never gave him an answer but there was still so ti left until the deadline.
With his hands behind his back, he watched them thinking what to do next. anwhile, Nicole helped Candice to get cleaned up, she looked terrible and it seed like she hadn’t even washed herself for quite so ti. She thought a warm bath would be best redy for her to calm down.
Samuel thought Disha and Kate would be there to support her but unexpectedly they trudged toward him like they wanted to say sothing.
" It was nice of you to do that for her but can you handle it?" Kate asked.
Samuel turned back and looked at her not knowing what she ant by him being able to ’handle’ it. He looked behind her to see Disha who seed to know what she ant but for so reason she was averting his gaze.
" I don’t know what you are talking about. So ti away from her normal life would help beside, I have plenty of room here." He shrugged.
" I can see that but it doesn’t seem like we can get a good night sleep in any of them." Kate retorted with a sly smile.
" You heard that too huh?" He was over feeling embarrassed about it. He didn’t feel like he owed her any explanation after all, he was tired too.
" Not just , can you imagine what this sweet naive girl must have felt hearing those moans? I don’t think she even have any experience with that stuff." Kate whispered not wanting Disha to hear it.
" It was just an accident. They-"
" Don’t tell you want to say that they took advantage of you. Heck, I thought you were murdering them with how loud they were. Now I realize why Anastasiya was so adamant with her plan." Kate lowered her gaze looking at the slight bulge in his pants. He wasn’t wearing warm clothes so if one were to look closely they could see the outline of his package.
Samuel had a sudden urge to teach this naughty girl a lesson but he decided to ignore her obvious provocations. He already had his plates full so he thought it was best to maintain a ’professional’ distance from the ’southern bella’.
" Did you want to check up on the horses? They are quite active in the morning." He changed the topic.
The blonde beauty pouted before saying," You are no fun. How co I feel like I am talking with an old man? Do you like to hide your fun side for your nightly activities?" She shot back.
" Maybe, maybe not. I guess that’s for you to find out but I hope it wouldn’t co to that." He leaned in and whispered in her ear sending shivers down her spine. Kate who grew up wealthy had seen many such ’young masters’ back ho but at least in looks and mannerism, he was the most brilliant one she ever had pleasure to get acquainted with.
He was charming and doing sothing good in his spare ti which only elevated his position in her heart but for so reason, she knew the more sothing shines that darker it was inside. At least that’s what she experienced in her life. Horses might intrigued her but she only hang around the ranch to distance herself from this ’perfect’ being beside, she never even thought about sharing a man.
It must be the biggest hurdle for her.
She controlled her emotions burying it deep inside her heart but for so reason couldn’t help but tease him about it. He never even act flustered which ant it was common for him. She did read up about him and knew he was surrounded by different girls, that wasn’t her style.
Despite knowing why she was here, he never even looked at her with those eyes that she was all too much familiar with. The gaze that seed to undress her and the lust that would co after it which greatly puzzled her. She was torn inside but for now, she liked that he played the perfect gentleman and didn’t force anything to her.
None of these would have happened if she didn’t hear those voices last night. She was worried it was so kind of ploy to rattle her and Disha. She only wanted to protect her but from his genuine expression, she could tell he wasn’t lying. Well, everything would co out once she talked with Anastasiya and Miranda.
" Right, if you girls have so ti. I would like to invite you, a place where you can vent your frustration. I think it would be good to burn off so calories." He proposed and said sothing out loud.
Kate and Disha didn’t know what was going on but within seconds, few people stepped out from the shadows kneeling to him anticipating his orders.
