Seeing Samuel make a series of plea to the pouting little girl made others look at him with annoyance especially Mayra and Kayla. They called him here to solve the situation not to further pamper her! It was not hard to imagine that once he was gone, they had to bear the brunt of her tantrums.
" Stop it! You are making it worse!"
" That's right, I don't want her to grow up spoiled!" They made a series of argunts. Samuel only gave them a angry look before resuming his work. He obviously considered this factor but before appeasing her highness, there was no chance for her to 'teach' her.
Raising children was a step by step process, it was evident that the girls who recently adopted her didn't know much about how to coerce little kids. Samuel was an expert dealing with many children in the estate and even his little brother who was a decade younger than him!
" What about I take you around the city today? Didn't you want to see the surprise that I prepare for you? I am sure you will like this gift!" Finally hearing the word 'surprise' and 'gift' made Elise look at him for the first ti. She was obviously tempted!
He took the initiative to bolster up his promises further reducing the scrunch on her face. He was almost there!
" It's a very big gift. It's so big that I wouldn't be able to move it so you have to co with ." He patted his chest reassuring her.
" No! You are lying to again! I know that Sami is a liar!"
" No, no, I will never lie to you. You can co with to see for yourself."
Elise made so calculations in her mind. Other didn't know what she was thinking about but for a second, she looked like a professional girl with impeccable glasses on her face trying to consider the fate of so multinational corporation!
" Okay!" After few mont, she smiled and stretched out her arms toward him. It was her signature move when she wanted to be held by him. He rejoice seeing the calm return to her face and imdiately indulge her childishness.
They moved over to the small dining area to have early breakfast. Samuel inford them about the latest developnt and that he needed to attend the eting with Delphina again.
" Will you co with or take a break?" He turned and asked Nicole.
" Young master, I will take care of the house. Since none of you will be ho, I might as well go to bed to sleep." Nicole didn't have the stamina to go on another incursion with Samuel today, unlike him she had a normal physique.
" Fine, I will take the little princess around then."
" Why aren't you going on a business eting? What if sothing happens?" Kayla was worried that Elise would be implicated appearing next to the succession fiasco. She knew more than anyone that these events had a nasty reputation. Who knows if so paparazzi wouldn't take her picture and trying to link her with several unpleasant stuffs?
" It will be alright. I am with her so you don't need to worry about it." Photos were never a problem for Samuel, he knew there were teams around him all the ti monitoring him movents and would actively get rid of anyone that would dare to violate his privacy.
" Alright....talk to her about it too don't just...you know." Mayra said in cryptic tone referring to her tantrums. She didn't restrict Elise's movents but this ti everyone knew that she was too much.
" I will."
They moved on from the subject and started talking about other things. It's only been two days since they ca back so not much had happen but they needed to rush to work because of the extended vacation.
Soon Mayra and Kayla left one after another and soon Samuel dressed up casually to et up with Delphina. Nicole on the other hand was left to cater to Elise choosing her small outfit and brushing her hair. It's not her first ti, when Elise was living in the Estate she often took care of her when Mayra was busy.
They departed and ca to the sa cafe where Delphina and Alexis were waiting for them. Samuel knew he was late but there was nothing he could do, Elise took more ti than usual to dress up. He didn't even had the chance to inform Delphina that he was bringing a child to the 'party'.
They entered the cafe, the handso young man holding a doll like little lady was enough to attract attention of staff but they already knew that he was coming so they quickly led him to the specific private box.
Samuel image was too eye catching for them to forget even when he was wearing a cap and sunglasses to hide his face. The small strands of his silver hairs as well his uptight and golden physique how could they ever forget it? Sharon was aware of this phenonon as the staff girls talked about him since morning.
Just as he entered the room, Alexis' eyes fell on him. He had already removed his disguise so it didn't take long for her to guess his identity.
"What is the relationship between the two of you?" At this mont, Alexis could help but ask, it took her a mont to recovered from her shock. Upper Elites were basically aware of his existence even when he didn't publically appear much after the press conference.
" As you can see, we are allies." Delphina's answer imdiately distinguish Alexis' sliver of hope, it was like cold water pouring all over her body. If they were really 'partners', would Hers even have a chance to do anything? The answer was a clear no!
Her atmosphere turned gloomy seeing the young man walking toward them. He didn't care about her gaze only looking at Elise taking careful steps beside him.
