anwhile in South Korea, in the SK headquarters the situation was dire. With LVHM cutting ties with their company leading them to lose almost double digit revenue share made the projected profits to look bleak.
The chairman managed to keep the news under wraps if not their shares would take a nosedive and they couldn't afford it. Since then, the higher managent held several eting to co up with a solution but they were unable to co up with a solution.
On top it, two rising bands left the company recently making the future outlook of the company look bleak. They still had many top level idols but they had already reached their peak popularity. anwhile, Girl Generation and SK boys were still in top ten for weeks at this point.
The company wanted to prolong their success which was why they were unable to disclose the news to the public. Yoona who was criticized to oblivion because of the scandal completely disappeared from the public eye.
The public soon found soone else and their interest had began to die down. Samuel did secretly released the unedited version of the concert video, many people were suspicious but they couldn't bla her for what happened. Still they wanted to hear her side of the story but unfortunately no matter how much reporters squated outside her known address she didn't ca out.
It was obvious that she changed location, but what's surprising was they were unable to find any other mbers of the band. Even the boy's band refused to comnt about it. They also tried to contact the SK corporation but they too brushed aside the issue. It's like everyone related to the incident disappeared from the face of the earth!
In the end, they had to move to another target. There was no shortages of scandals and gossips prevailing the Korean entertainnt. Samuel projected everything would die down within half an year. Still he didn't ddled and left everything to Park as he was the one overseeing things related to his asian expansion.
For now, Park was successful in moving everyone inside the recently purchased building. It had everything that bands would need from restaurants to music studio all packaged in twenty story building in the middle of Gangnam district.
" Did you find out who was behind it?"
" I am sorry sir. The only thing that I can validate that it is definitely related to Manager Kim."
" Didn't they gathered the money by loaning everything they own? Even if my son, Jung was wrong he isn't soone that could threaten our company. Forget it, what about the eting?" The chairman took a deep breath before saying.
His eldest was a little incompetent but this incident would serve as a viable lesson before he inherit the company. He was purposefully favoring his second son so that he could grow Jung, the eldest personality.
The only reason why he wasn't handing his company to the second son was because of his late wife's wish. Jung was the precious son left behind by the love of his life before she passed away. The second was talented and upright so he could easily support his eldest brother in the future.
" I can't find him. Even his cell is unreachable."
" Did he run away?" He wanted to et the infamous manager and ask the detail from the horse's mouth but it seed like their relationship had reached an end.
" I don't know sir. Their property is already put up for rent. It seed like they moved out in a hurry." H looked at his secretary, he was a talented man capable of fulfilling most of his demands.
If he was unable to find what happened to him then there really was soone pulling strings against his company. Even that old geezer from LVHM warned him about just accepting loss but for so reason, he felt this issue would definitely co to bite him in the ass in future.
" Alright forget it." For now, he didn't have ti to worry about it. He had to appease the investor and co up with a good excuse. Maybe they would be able to find so other brand to sponsor their idols.
If they were able to fill up the imdiate hole in their finance, they could simply disclose about cutting ties with LVHM. They wouldn't dare to say anything because they were the one paying the fees for breach of contract.
No matter what they co up with, public would surely take SK's side when looking at the genuine evidence, right?
His secretary waited for him to excuse him but the old man was lost in thought, he knew it was hard to reel in soone of LVHM's caliber and it wouldn't be possible to hide the incident as people would soon notice the lack of their logo in their ads.
" Father!" Suddenly their eting was interrupted by a knock on the door.
" Co in." He already knew who it was. Jung confidently walked inside with a huge smile on his face. Seeing him so cheerful didn't raise his hope instead he was worried what his idiotic son was up to now.
" Father, I find the solution to the problem we are facing. I found the perfect people to replace those treacherous LVHM bastards!" He dropped a stack of papers on his desk.
" Is that so?" His father was still suspicious but it wouldn't matter if he took a peak at what his son was on about.
" This..."
" Isn't it great? It will be a win-win situation for both of us. We can get the money-"
" You fucking brat! How is this good for the company!" His father didn't need to look at everything. Just the first few condition of the contract were aborent! It clearly stated that rather than paying the company outright, they were going to invest in it?
Why would they ever need more investor when their family shares had been eroded to less than thirty percent over the years? wasn't it akin to inviting a tiger in one's backyard?
