" Who else if not him? After the party he must have investigated you. Seeing that you still live here, he must be planning to get back at through you." Samuel was ninety percent sure that's what it was. People like Brett wouldn't get hung up on soone that they deaned in the past.
Why should he ever care about it? The way he tried to exert dominance over Kate after what he did to her was clear sign that he still wasn't remorseful. So tis, there are no clear reason for them to be evil not when they enjoyed other people's misery.
Samuel wasn't a hero, he understood he couldn't take on the world's evil but that didn't an he would keep letting bastards like him walk all over him. He warned him once still he dared to show that he didn't care.
He must have think, he could use his family's influence to do as he pleased but there was always a bigger fish in the pond. Samuel decided to show him, there were so people that one shouldn't ss with.
He looked at Kate who looked distraught for a second before she took a deep breath to calm herself down. He thought she would be scared but she was handling it much better that he anticipated.
" Does he not know who you are? I an, don't people always get scared hearing your na?"
" Maybe, why do you think I dye my hair? Beside, you don't have to worry about it. I will handle it so that he wouldn't cause any trouble here." He picked up his cell and started scanning his call history.
" What are you doing?"
" Just wait."
" Hello, yes. You are aware what's happening right? No? Alright, send few people and stationed them around this place. Make sure no.." He started ordering soone over the phone.
Kate was reminded again that he was not a normal person. Samuel didn't even finish talking when she heard screeching noises through the window. She walked over to see, several black SUV practically blocking the entrance to her bar.
Around, dozen people ca out of it after which they vanished in different direction. The two which remained confidently walked toward the entrance when she lost visual. Imdiately she could hear her staff shouting.
" I should-"
" Stay here. You don't have to worry about it. They will handle it." he grabbed her.
Just like he said, noises died down and several minutes later she could see them carrying two man on their shoulder. They were the sa person that were ddling with her business for two days. She sighed feeling overwheld by everything.
The problem that's been haunting her for days had been solved by Samuel with a simple phone call. She was also surprised how they were operating in broad daylight without a care in the world that's when she noticed the busy street had been quiet since his people arrived.
" Don't tell you can shut down the whole street?"
" Well, if we need to. There are many ways to subvert people's attention without them noticing it." He didn't go into detail. There were sothing that she was better off not knowing.
" What's going to happen to them?"
" Nothing serious. They will just make sure they never show themselves in this neighbourhood. Don't worry about that, let's go downstairs to calm everyone down. By the way, where is Bella? How co she is not here?" he asked.
" Didn't she tell you? She went back to her family for Christmas. She left before this shit happened which is good because we don't need her with an empty bar in our hand."
" Will you also be closing for the holidays?"
" I don't know. I didn't plan on it but now I think it's better to do so. It will be good for everyone."
" Wouldn't that be bad for business?" He was worried about her.
" Maybe but once the word gets out that those hooligans are gone, I am sure the regulars would return."
" Good." She saw him smile which she didn't understand. Was he hoping for her to close the store? She would find it soon enough.

Kate consoled the staff, they were a little frightened seeing strange things happening one after another. With those two harassing them was already bad but seeing more nacing people taking them away was more harrowing.
She ca clean stating it was Samuel's n and they were there to protect the establishnt from further disruption. They already knew about him due to previous encounter when he stord the place proclaiming he bought the place. Oddly enough, so felt like it was because Kate had done sothing and those two people were Samuel's n in disguise.
It wouldn't be the first ti they heard of such power harassnt case but it appeared to be different people. Kate broke the news about her thinking about closing the store for a week and half. They were reluctant to hear it because holidays were so of the best ti for them to make extra cash.
Samuel noticed it and declared he would take care of it. It was best for them to rest and recharge their batteries while enjoying quality ti with their friends. In the anti, he thought about renovating the place.
It was his property so it could be a new year gift for them on his behalf. Kate objected at first but seeing how serious he was, she had to give in.
Since there were no custor, Samuel asked Kate to take a early leave. The staff were elated but they waited for their boss to give the verdict. Seeing their enthusiasm, Kate obliged. She also handed them their pay early while Samuel promised their 'gifts' would arrive after few days.
They happily went ho while Kate and Samuel went upstairs. Kate had few more things to do before she could leave so he asked if he could stay until she was done.
