After few minutes, Samuel got dressed and went downstairs to et everyone. He looked for Nicole but she was nowhere to be seen.
Mayra and Amanda worked hard to make all of his favorite foods. Samuel had enjoyed wide variety of cuisine from Asian to the western food, he had a favorite dish for everything. Mayra wasn't well equipped for her that's where Amanda ca in. They worked together for a perfect spread that could satisfy his taste buds.
" You keep looking around? Is it not to your liking?" Amanda asked.
" No, nothing like that. Just the sll alone is enough to make salivate. I was just wondering I didn't see Nicole anywhere." He asked.
" She is in the kitchen. I know you always propagate to eat together but I think with guest here we should have our als after you."
" Alright." Samuel found a seat and waited for everyone to sit down. He didn't want to ask stupid question that would only make the situation worse.
After few minutes, everyone gathered. They were running around with Hannah and Elise in the back garden waiting for him. Kayla also ca down relaxed as if nothing happened. She wore clothes to cover herself and her neck, it did look off but no one questioned her because it was winter.
" You really took a lot of ti-" Mayra asked but Kayla spoke first to cut her off.
" He was just showing around."
" Yeah, after that I took a long shower."
" Well, I heard that the after parties for these blockbuster movies are intense." Mayra didn't suspect anything.
Elise tugged on Samuel's shirt to which he carried her onto his lap as they started eating their al. As they talked and teased each other, the whole house was filled with laughter which soon made him forget about his worries.
He did see Nicole a few ti as she was serving food but she refrained from making eye contact. From the looks of it she was still embarrassed about what happened so he didn't bother her but Kayla would smile at her making her blush every now and then.
Midway through their lunch, Mayra dragged both Amanda and Nicole to sit and eat with them. They were hesitant but seeing no one minded and Mayra actively serving them a plate full of food, they had to do it.
After a big al, the outside temperature beca ideal for walk. Gathering everyone up, they went on a hike with Ranch as their destination. Unfortunately the girls did visited the family farm yesterday evening but it was first ti for Kayla.
Amanda and Nicole stayed behind to clean everything up. They had been coming more frequently as number of people living in the house increased a lot and it beca lot harder for Mayra to cook for everyone.
" The ponies were so cool but we weren't able to get close to the black one and the irish one too." Adele added.
" They are always friendly when he is around. You should have seen Elise even riding Sjors with him." Mayra recalled the first ti when they saw him crashing their breakfast at the main mansion. She was startled and afraid but seeing him handle the horse easily, she decided to trust his judgent.
" Sjors is the black one right? The one you send the photos of?" Kayla asked.
" Yeah, we also have a baby deer nad Ella. She is staying on the ranch until we figure out what to do with her."
" Elise? Are you ready to see your friend, Ella?"
" Un!" The little girl in his arm wriggled around with excitent. Everyone laughed as they slowly made their toward the ranch. It was quite far when they were on foot but ti seed to pass while they were talking and laughing having a great ti.
" Wolves? Don't tell you have wolves too?" Kayla was surprised when she heard about it. It ca up because often they would hear them howl especially at night. Not inside the room but if they kept their window open, which they didn't because it was winter, they could hear their faint cries.
" It's a wolf sanctuary. Other than the zoo they are the first one in England. At least that's what everyone told ." Iblis shrugged. She wasn't interested in them like others.
" They already had a enclosure so with so construction and a lot of deer migration into the forest it beca a pri location of them. I would love to see them in the wild but people haven't seen them since they were let out." Adele added.
" Isn't that the good thing? Let them do their thing inside the dense jungle and if we are lucky enough they would make an appearance once in a while." He stated.
" Oh, I heard from Uncle peter that they would be going in today to see how they are faring. He told he hired top expert to determine and track their location."
It was Samuel's first ti hearing about it. He wasn't surprised but what if they attacked his convoy? Wouldn't it an they would have to kill a few just to protect themselves? It was not his business so he decided to stay out of it. Beside the wolves did give a strange vibe when he t them.
*Neigh* *Neigh* *Neigh*
As soon as they entered the place, they started hearing horses all around them. They were still in their enclosure but sohow they felt that Samuel was here. He put Elise down and hopped inside expecting the onslaught that was going to happen.
Buckeye, King and others baby horses were the first to rush to his side. King being mischievous even tried to get on top of him like a dog. Thankfully, Samuel was quick to avoid his front hoofs and hugged his neck to calm him down.
Other kids were much calr, they ca to him nudging their face against him like they were welcoming him. Ella the baby deer also ca to his side taking her favorite spot that was between his legs.
She liked to poke her head and see the surrounding while sticking as close as possible to him. He picked her up to in his arms because she was only one that he could do that with. She looked around and saw quite a few new faces.
The staff soon let everyone in seeing the madness subsiding, the girls were able to co closer and touch them as they were extra docile in front of Samuel. Elise kept poking his leg to see her friend, so he let Ella down.
The little girl was the only one that Ella was comfortable around as they began running around chasing each other. Adele and Iblis who saw the cute scene imdiately took out their phones to capture the mont.
Samuel on the other hand walked few feet away from the group expecting her favorite girl to arrive. Right on cue, they heard the thunderous gallops. It was like a black flash trotting in their direction without any sign of slowing down.
*Neigh*
Seeing how excited his girl was, he walked further away from the group trying to catch her. She ca closer like a bull but stopped few feet away from him. He saw her turning her head away like she was mad at him. Samuel smiled and walked toward her, she could be such a baby sotis.
" Is my girl mad? It's been only two days since I last visited you. I can't be here all the ti right?" He began caressing her long hair making his way toward her head. Sjors was nothing short of magnificent, her black fur always shines under the pale sunlight giving her a lustrous black hue.
With an impressive height of more than eight feet, she was able to keep her head away from his hands.
" So, you are not going to let touch you?" Samuel laughed but before she could react he jumped on top of her. She couldn't do anything but to run around to act mad. Samuel held on to her neck as she tried her best to get him off of her without any drastic movent.
" I am sorry. I have been busy. You will not be seeing much of but I want you to know that I love you alright?" he was able to calm her down.
" Co on, let's et so of my friends."
*Neigh* It's like she understood him as she began to make her way toward the crowd. The girls watched as Samuel gently geared Sjors and stopped in front of them.
" You are so cool brother!" Hannah complinted him. He could see other looked at him with admiration but they didn't say anything. He hopped down and introduced Sjors to everyone.
Those that wanted a ride was able to do so but only under his supervision. He was sure that she wouldn't hurt them since he formally introduced them but he didn't want to take any chances.
